Text entry fields not able to tab between 2 fields

Hi there,
I have placed 2 text entry fields that are for username & a password, I on publish/preview, I type the username and go to hit the TAB key to move to the password field but nothing happens & cursor does not move to the other field...
I did try a quick search for this question as I thought it must of happened before to others, but could not find what I needed..the answer ;-)

How to check a text type if it is filled or not for specific user status

I want to check if a text type in a notification is filled or not for a specific user status. I guess that can be done using the BADI "ORDER_SAVE", but not sure how to do that.

Hello Erkan.
You can use the function module CRM_ORDER_READ_OW in method check_before_save of BADI ORDER_SAVE.
Fill the header_guid of the notification into the it_header_guid table parameter and get the returning table ET_TEXT.
For performance reason you should provide importing parameter it_requested_objects.
INCLUDE CRM_DIRECT.
APPEND gc_object_name-texts TO it_required_objects.
Then you can check in et_Text if the required text is maintained. If not, you can raise the exception DO_NOT_SAVE in the BADI.

Dear Gurus ,
I need to make some fields as Required Entry in Quality Management tab of Material Master record
So that the users compulsorily need to fill data before saving the MMR. The fields which I want to
make compulsory are visible after clicking the "Inspection setup" button in the QM tab , the various
fields are "post to insp. lot", "inspection with task list" etc. like this about 10 fields ,
I went in OMS9 , but could not find the field ref. group for table RMQAM , also could not find these
fields in OMSR.
Please guide how to make these fields compulsory. Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is possible in standard...since all this fields (ticked or un-ticked) flow from the configuration of Inspection types in QM...you have to see there in QM configuration whether anything is possible...

When is Apple will make a Micro USB Flash Drive for iPads and iPhones ???

IIt's really a big help if Apple make their own Micro USB a Flash Drive for iPads and iPhones.

Apple would not tell people there are other brands on the market. It is my opinion that if Apple users keep asking for the USB for ipads, they might consider it. As for the iphone there MIGHT be a tiny slot inside where the battery is for an SD card, which expands the space. I know Android has that feature in their cell phones, but not sure about Apple.

Restrict (hide) text type by sales org when creating notes for accounts

I have created 5 new text object IDs in text determination procedure BUT000. There are now approximately 40 text IDs in total. These 5 new text object IDs will only be used for 1 sales org. The other 35 will be used for various other sales org. When I go to create a note for the Business Partner in the WebClient UI (6.0) I have to select from a drop down list of 40 text types. As each user can only belong to 1 sales org, the user will never create a note of any other type apart from the 5 I created.
Therefore, is it possible to just show the 5 text types that I created? If so how do I go about doing this?

Hi Declan,
I am not sure whether I have understood you correctly. If the user will never create a note to any other type of text apart from those 5 you have created then in Definition of procedure you can delete the rest 35 and then you will have only 5 text types.
the path is SPRO -> CRM -> BF -> Text Management -> Define Text Det. Procedure -> Select BUT000 -> Double click on folder Procedure -> here you can create Text. Det. Procedure and assign the text types you want.

Why won't Apple make 3G iPads into mobile use for calls and text?

All your iPhone, iPad mini and all other idevices are great, but if you want to win the competition with Apple vs Samsung, you better include what all mobile devices do not have, which is to simply NOT ABLE TO TURN OFF WHEN THE PHONE IS STOLEN. You can put passwords, install Find My IPhone, but wont do **** when the thief can just simply turn off the device from lock screen. With the new iOS 7 and new features of Find My iPhone, I suggest that you also include to ask for the apple ID and password when wanting to turn off the idevice and when the password is correct, the current location will be emailed to their account so they know when and where they have turned off their phone, if it was however a kidnapping or stolen, it will help police locate the device or person more faster, would you not agree this is a great feature to have. Anyone who buys an iPhone now already includes data plan for Internet anyways.
Hope this comes available for the releasing of the iOS 7 new update this coming summer.

How do you make a required checkbox field stop a form submitting if not checked.

I have a form which needs people to accept two checkboxes before the form will submit upon clicking a button.
I am using Acrobat X Pro.
The form does not submit when a required text field is empty but when the checkboxes are empty it still tries to submit.
How can I work around this?

You can't do it directly, but there's a work-around. Create a (hidden) text field and set it as required. As the text field's custom calculation script enter the following code:
event.value = this.getField("Check Box1").value=="Off" ? "" : this.getField("Check Box1").value;
This will prevent the document from being submitted if "Check Box1" is not ticked. The downside is that the check-box won't be highlighted in red when the validation fails, but at least the file won't be submitted partially filled-in.
Alternatively, you can write you own validation script, which can provide a full report of which fields still need to be filled-in before submitting the file.

I want to make Text1 required if Text2 is left blank and vise versa

I'm trying to get the javascript to make two text fields required before a form is submitted. Essentially they have to fill in text in either Text1 or text2. If they leave them both blank, the form cannot be submitted. Any thoughts?

You can use this as the script for the Submit button:

If both fields are blank, an alert message appears when the user tries to submit the form.

Feature request: text notes for catalog and photos

I would like to have ability to add plain text notes — to whole catalog, to separate directories and to a single photo.
When I'm sitting with a client and walking throung photos, he often says something like: «Let's pick this photo but change color to blue and paint out hands». Now I have to pencil it, but why not to add a field to Lightroom DB for this kind of notes?
And a directory notes. I'm storing different photosets in different directories, there are a lot's of them, and sometimes it's hard to remember what kind of developement I've planned for this set.
By the way, it would be be great to mark directories with sone kind of color and/or rating. Maybe «ready to publish», «developement in progress», «just picked» etc.

I'm glad you found a solution for the per-photo notes.
Maybe in a while somebody will write one to handle per-folder notes. In fact, if I were to do it, it would just be a simple Lightroom Dialog Box that reads/writes a text file in your folder directory. And, if I do, I'll make sure the filename is configurable, so you could get a head start .
You would have to close the dialog box though to do anything else in Lightroom, then re-open to re-edit, and so forth... - do you think that would work for you?
Similarly for the catalog notes.

I should probably not care so much about this, but I'm
wondering how to make an image have a rollover state without making
it a clickable button. See the link below, and when it all loads,
move your mouse over the "go home" button at the bottom. I'd like
for that rollover to happen but without the little "link hand"
showing up, you know? I know how to do this in html but I'm new to

Palm Desktop 4.2 - Text of color coded calendar entries are hidden for some colors

Environment:
Treo 680
Palm Desktop 4.2 running on Windows XP Pro
Color coded calendar entries have been working great since I got my phone over a year ago. When I added a new color category (bringing my total to 7 categories) I noticed that some of my calendar entries showed the color coded bar for the appointment, but the text for the entry was hidden. Nor was I able to edit the entry using Palm Desktop since any attempt to select the entry tries to create a new entry.
Thinking that I had exceeded a limit for the number of color categories I deleted the new category (so the entries were now unfiled). Now, all but one of my color categories are affected (color bar for appointment, but no text visible), including those marked with a category of "undefined".
The only color that now shows the text for calendar entries is my default category (not unfiled). This affects all of my existing calendar entries and any new ones I create, regardless of whether I create them on the Treo or using Palm Desktop.
If I press <tab> to cycle through my appointments on the page, it selects only those for my default color cateogry where the text of the entry is visible (i.e. it skips all the other appointments).
The calendar entries are all visible on my Treo, thankfully.
I have not installed any new apps or updates.
I've not been able to find anyone else reporting this problem.
My next step will be to restore my backup from last week, but I was hoping to avoid that if possible, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Pardon my ignorance, but where do I set categories to all?
Tools > Categories
Whichever category I select here becomes the default category and its entries will be visible, but all other categories will be hidden. My only other options are New, Delete, Rename and Help.
The only other configuration setting for categories that I can find is under
Tools -> Preferences
I have the checkbox "Display color-coded categories" checked

Text Messaging Plans - Which plan would be best for me?

I tried looking all over the Verizon website but only found nation-wide plans for text messaging.
I currently pay $9.99 Data Package (Mobile Email) which I hardly use for my Samsung Reality phone. I saw that the offer said "Mandatory Data Package" so I asked the Best Buy Verizon representative there - he told me that even when Verizon says it's "mandatory", there are ways to get around it and that it wasn't mandatory. SO I foolishly thought he canceled it for me, later to find out we were billed for the $9.99 package. I called Verizon but to no avail, I was told it was mandatory. Enraged, I decided to just make the best of it. :'(
1. Can I replace the $9.99 Data Package with a text messaging plan instead?
2. What text messaging plans are available, and how much do they cost?
3. Are there any text messaging plans that cover all four lines for me and family members? Or two? - Perferably cheapest and limited.
Reasons:
- My parents (two lines) don't see it necessary to use text messaging. So maybe a text messaging plan for two lines (for my sister and me).
- I know there are times when sending a text is much more convenient and for college, I keep finding it more and more useful to have (i.e. professors that accept texts as urgent communication, texting a roommate or friends to ask a quick question without having to feel as if you've called them in class or at a wrong time, etc .. and also to text my family to let them know I'm okay when we're all busy with our lives (calling would be best of course!)) - (as well as it's social benefits ;D ) SO I'm wondering if there is any plan that would best fit the needs of my family members & myself.

If you have Talk minutes only you can add:
$5/mo for 250 texts (sent and received)
$10/mo for 500 texts PLUS unlimited texts M2M
$20/mo for 5000 texts PLUS unlimited M2M
This is per line, and each line on a family plan can have its own bundle.
It makes more sense to bump up to the Talk & Text plan and get unlimited texting on all lines, if you have 3 or more phones and everyone likes to text! You have to determine what you can afford, how much texting you will do to figure out what will work for you.
If you can get by with 250 texts a month, the $5 plan may work (but they go fast, believe me!!) For $10, you can have 500 texts plus all your texts between you and your sister and other Verizon phones are not part of the 500 limit, they are unlimited.
For $30 (the cost increase from the Talk plan to the Talk & Text plan), all of the phones on your family plan will have unlimited texting to anyone on any network. My suggestion would be to try the limited plans first, then bump it up if you keep getting close or going over your limit.
