F-28 Additional Selections

Upon going into F-28, additional selections is 'billing documents'. the next screen allows only 28 billing documents to be populated. Is there a way to expand the number of available rows?

Hi,
You might have restrict the date selection or any other selection which is avialble in f-28. Otherwise you can see al the documents which arein the list.

Selecting open items in F-03 using additional selections

I need to select open items in a GL account using more than one additional selection eg. document type, posting date, assignment
I select Additional Selections then document type then add a document type, then I select Other Selection - posting date and then Process Open Items. Only the first selection for document type is recognised.
Is this a bug?

Searching for Open Items
Use
After you have entered an account with open items, you can search for specific open items to be cleared.
On the screen for selecting open items, you can search for specific open items to be cleared using the following additional selection fields:
Gross amount
Document number
Posting date
Other fields depending on the system configuration
Procedure
To search for open items using the additional selection criteria, proceed as follows:
Choose one of these fields, such as Posting date, then choose Execute.
The screen for entering selection criteria appears.
Enter one or more single values or ranges within the selection, such as 01/01/1993 through 01/31/1993 for a range of posting dates.
To search for specific open items by other criteria (optional), choose Edit ® Select more.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other selection criteria.
After you enter your selection criteria, you have the following options:
Display the list of open items by choosing Goto ® Open items.
Display the clearing document header and the items entered so far by choosing Goto ® Doc. Overview.
Post the clearing document by choosing Document ® Post

Process open items: how to set defaults for the additional selections

Hi FI experts,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set defaults for the additional selections in the processing of open items.
I am using transaction F-04 (or F-06 or F-07) to post with clearing.
When processing the open items I can use additional selection parameters. In my case I need to use the document type. I would like to save this selection as a default but this doesn't seem to be possible.
1. it is not possible to save a variant for the processing of open items
2. I can not create a variant transaction (with trx. SHD0) for F-0x since this is only possible for dialog transactions
Do you see another way to store defaults for the additional selections in open item processing?

Hi,
When you create a transaction variant from FB05, then also you will not able to default the value for additional selections variable. Hence SHD0 is not going to help.
As said above, either you can change the additional selection screen parameters, but here again you can't default the value. You can only reduce the number of entries on the screen.
Else you can create a custom transaction code by copying the standard. Even SAP recommends to create custom codes from standard tcode for clearing purposes depending on requirements.

If it is a custom transaction then you can default document number.

Inside SPRO, under Financial Accounting -> AR and AP -> Business Txns -> Open Item Clearing -> Make settings for processing open items -> Choose selection fields.
On the initial screen choose D for customer and enter.
Click on a field where you want to insert reference 2. Then choose edit -> insert after (or before) and enter the field name (XREF2).

I am able to add the additional fields in VF05, but I have no idea to apply (additional fields as PLANT) additional selection criteria in VF05N report, Please let us know the process to add new selection for VF05N.

You can add new field in VFX3 selection screen as follow. In the report code we can see various explicit enahcement points provided by SAP.One of them is ENHANCEMENT-POINT sdblbddl_01 SPOTS es_sdblbddl STATIC. Here you can declare your selection screen parameters. Then in the processing i can see a call customer fucntion happening in VBSK_DISPALY which you can implement to add your logic.

OSB DbAdapter not polling when additional selection criteria is entered

I am setting up a DbAdapter for use within a OSB proxy service. The OSB version is 10gR3 and the Oracle database that I am connecting to with the DbAdapter is 11gR2. The automatic LogicalDelete polling is working with the default settings when there is no additional criteria specified, but however the polling is not working when I specify any additional selection criteria using the expression builder. Does anybody know if this is a bug with the DbAdapter with the Oracle Database. We have the same configuration pointing to a DB2 AS400 and it is working fine.

Sorry, by not working I mean no records are being retrieved from the database even though it meets the select criteria for the polling.

have checked out the SDN forums quite throughly and have come up with a couple of questions/solutions.
1) Copy the program into Z-name space and add in the code
Question: Where to specifically add the code, the program is huge with multiple enhancement points being seen in the code.

Additional selection Condition for sales order in CFM1

Dear APO Gurus,
Our business scenario requires CFM1 to have additional selection
condition based on Sales order type (Table:VBAK, Field: AUART) for
sales order data.
Kindly guide us if there are any enhancement or OSS note to acheive the
requirement?
I know OSS note: 507696 can be used for enhancing CFM1 selection conditions based on MARC table
fields. Any way this will not solve our requirement.

Enhancements in ASN Search Query - additional selection parameter

Hi,
I am working on adding an additional search parameter in ASN Overview screen in supplier view. The search is POWL based and in the "Maintain Search Criteria" screen I have been able to add a custom field named "ZTEST_DATE" of type DATS.
To get the above work done I have followed the following steps
1. Enhanced the method IF_POWL_FEEDER~GET_SEL_CRITERIA of class /SCF/CL_FEEDER_ASN_OV.
2. Enhanced the method PREPARE_LOAD_ASN_FROM_DB of class /SCF/CL_WD_APPL_MODEL_ASN_OV in order to make the additional field as part of ODM parameter.
Now on running the query I get an error mesage sayng "Access Path for the parameter selection couldnt be found".
This error message can be traced to an exception which was raised in GET_ACCID_FOR_READ method of class /SCMB/CL_ODM.
To get rid of this issue I have added additional entry in two Tables /SCMB/ORCPRM (for defining new parameter ZTEST_DATE and linking it to the ODM component DLH1) and another entry in table /SCMB/ORDTPACCSQ to link the previously defined selection parameter to the access Path ORDN for Order Data Type DELV with a sequence no 24 (all the access sequence till 23 had already been taken up for the other selection parameters). Now I am facing trouble to create an active version of this entry. It should be noted that each entry in the table /SCMB/ORDTPACCSQ has two entries one active and one inactive for each Access Path linked to Order Data Type. At this moment only inactive access path could be created.
Is there any additional config step required to get an active version of the newly added access Path?

Hello Rohit,
My understanding of your question is that, you are not able to create the ACTIVE access sequence with all those details what you've provided in your query. I am sure you might have used the Standard SPRO path for ODM configs.
You need to check whether you are creating the access sequence for the correct 'Access Path' or not (i.e. field ACCID in table /SCMB/ORDTPACCSQ). Also, you need to use the access sequence number beyond 90. Might be this would resolve your problem.

F-30 (FB05) additional selections

Hi,
I´m running the transactions F-30 to clear only one document. This document have many customer itens. This customer have many documents each one with several customer itnes.
How can I change the selection procedure to select exactily only one iten of the specific document? Now, I´m selecting the specific document, after this I choose an additional selectins (ITEM). The result is all itens of the specific document and the same itens of the other document of the customer informed.
Can you help me to fix this problem?

I asked this same question in another forum and Mr. Lakshmi sent me this away to fix my question:
"Hi,
1 -You can initially select only the document number in the specific
customer number.
2-Then deactivate all the line items by selecting all and then deactivate
all selected
3- use ctrl+f and select by one another parameter which will point to your
required item.
This way you get only the item you require for clearing..."
This answer is exactaly what I need.

Populate two additional select boxes from main box...

hey all -
i am new at most of this, so please bare with me.
I am trying to go from one box to the next (twice over), and am having difficulty getting to the third box.
I have the original box "select1" and it populates "select two" just fine, but i do not have the third population....looking for help in getting a third box.
I would like box one to populate box two, from the selection in box two, i would like to populate box three, and have that as a selection as well.

Application builder adds additional select instr.lib folders

Hi,
When I build my application, the Application Builder decides that it should include additional directories instead of the default files (data directory, .aliases, .exe, and .ini files). The additional directories include files that are named the same in various instr.lib's but are in different libraries, i.e. Close.vi or Initialize.vi. In my project explorer are there no unresolved dependancies. Does anyone know why this may be happening?

What version of LabVIEW are you using? If you are using 2009 or above, there is an option to use the 8.X format for the executable. It is one of the advanced options in the build specification. You do NOT want to do that. In the 8.X format, the VIs are saved in the executable as a flat directory. This means that any VI that was named the same, regardless of library association, would conflict. This would cause those libraries to be saved outside of the executable.
If you are using the newer format, the executable keeps a directory hierarchy, just like a zip file. So you won't have the name conflicts in that instance.

Me59N - Additional Selection Field for New Purchase Order

Hi Everyone,
I have a requirement to add a new field to the selection screen of ME59N. Basically the client requires 'Per Material Group' to be defined under 'New Purchase Order. I've searched around but cannot find something similiar.
My question is: Can this be acheived without copying ME59N to a custom version ? I'm told a particular enchancement (me590001) can be of use but I dont think it's suitable for this requirement.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
