Item is shown as open on customer account (FBL5N). Item has not been cleared.
When selecting items to apply payment, the following message is shown:
"No appropriate line item is contained in this document" Message no. F5228

- Check some table fields in the missing documents using Transaction SE16. The following conditions must exist:
BSIS-XOPVW = X (Indicator: Open item management, only for G/L accounts)
BSEG-XOPVW = X (Indicator: Open item management)
BSEG-AUGBL = space (clearing document number)
BSEG-DISBN = space (discount document number)
BKPF-BSTAT = space (document status)
BKPF-XSTOV = space (indicator reversal flag)
REGUS/REGUP -> see below
Look at table REGUS using Transaction SE16. Enter the account (KONKO) in the selection screen. If you selected an entry, use the information Run date (LAUFD) and Identification (LAUFI) in Transaction F110 (payment program). Check the status of the payment run. If only the proposal was carried out, the documents proposed for payment are blocked for other clearing transactions. It is only when you delete the proposal run that the items are taken into account again in the clearing transaction.

When we try to post manual payments by using F-53, and I add the document number. It gives me a message that -No appropriate line item is contained in this document
Message no. F5228, although I see that an open item in Fbl1n. Is their a config step, I am missing.

If it shows in FBL1N, it should appear in F-53 as well. I don't think there is any additional customizing for that.
To ensure you are entering correct document number, please select radio button None in Additional Selections instead of Document Number, enter vendor number in 'Open Item Selection' section and press Enter. You should see a list of all open items for this vendor - see if the document you are referring to appears in the list. We can then proceed to the next step of the analysis, as to why the open item is not getting retrieved by document number in F-53.

Document Category not being generated Automatically for AR transaction type

we have defined some transaction type in AR. But the corresponding document category is not being automatically generated

This doesn't look feasible, the only issue I ever encountered with this was the document category not being updated if the transaction type was updated. Maybe the customer has some custom triggers which are preventing the record from being inserted into FND tables. You can easily debug this by opening the form and testing in a TEST environment.

Reversal documents are not being represented when 0PY_PP_C3 is being loade

We use the 0HR_PY_PP_2 and 0HR_PY_PP_1 infosources to load the 0PY_PP_C2 and 0PY_PP_C1 ODSs. Then 0PY_PP_C1 updates the 0PY_PP_C3 ODS.
Routines in the update rules include corresponding data from 0PY_PP_C2 during the update of 0PY_PP_C3. If there is no matching data in 2, then the corresponding records in 1 do not go into 3 Our process chain first loads 2, after it activates, it then loads 1, then updates 3.
There are 5 reversal documents are in 0PY_PP_C2.
The Update rules between 0PY_PP_C1 and 0PY_PP_C3 refer to the Posting Documents ODS: 0PY_PP_C2.
The issue is that the reversal documents are not being represented when 0PY_PP_C3 is being loaded.

The simple solution is to debug the code written in the routine, as you mentioned that you already have some data in PP_C2 then check if that data is properly getting read in routine.
After that check the condition based on which you are skipping records of PP_C1 and not loading into PP_C3. Is your condition perfectly working fine?
Put a break point and check how the data is flowing.

BSP application not being pulled after the application of support packs

Hi all,
Support packs SP 35-42 were applied last week end and after that one of the three BSP applications in production server is not being pulled through SAP gui. If I take the URL and paste it in IE the same application is being pulled. We are suspecting that to be a web dispature issue or firewall issue. The land scape is like this. P20 is our production server and C20 is our QA server.P20 has Sun109 as a web dispature and C20 has Sun108 as webdispature. There is a firewall in between P20 and Sun 109 but there is no firewall in between C20 and Sun 108. We redirected P20 to Sun 108 to test and all the three applications pulled up. so we concluded that it could be an issue with SUN 109 or a firewall issue. I am new to this webdispature stuff. I need help in identifying which files I have to look in to identify any kind of such errors. it is confusing why other two applications are being pulled and only one is not being pulled into SAP gui. We debugged the code and every thing is working fine. this is an urgent issue to be resolved.These application were developed long back and the developer did not leave any documentation how the hand shake is done between the web dispature and the SAP system.We are supporting the production system now. I appreciate any one responding as soon as posible.

Failed to Open Document (file not 0 bytes) - Suggested resolution!

(Posting this to assist others with same problem - I have actually resolved for me - please note Adobe developers for suggested improvement for work around… there is still a bug in there somewhere with corrupt files)
Using Flash Pro CS6 (v 12.0.0.481) on Mac OSX 7.5
Problem:
Tried to open a file that I was working on last night (after MAC crashed and untidy shut down, but had saved file beforehand) this morning and got the error message "Failed to open document". The file has 10 MB of size (not 0 bit like other crashes that were not recoverable!).
Resolution (work around):
Managed to recover the file using a combo of ideas I found on the web.
First things first... check the file size, if the file size is 0, your pretty much stuffed since the file is empty, sorry. If however the file is populated, then this is what I did:
1) copied the file and saved it to a new location (so working on a duplicate)
2) downloaded a rar file tool (Winrar or I used The Unarchiver for Mac)
3) Change the name of the file extension of that duplicate to .rar (you will get a warning message, accept it)
4) Double click on the .rar file to open it using the .rar extraction ap you selected - you will be asked to say where you want that file to be extracted to - I just created a new folder on my desktop. In the process of extracting that file (believe it or not it is stored up as many parts), I got error messages that 3 images that were used in the file were corrupted. I selected to continue and ignore that. I made note of the corrupted files set.
5) Locate the problem files (mine were in a folder called "Library" in the extracted file set) and delete those images *NOTE: you should have these copied elsewhere since they are brought into flash generally. BUT you might also like to skip this step and try the step below first - I didn't - it could be that you don't actually need to delete those images. If the step below doesn't work, then come back here and try again)
6) In the new extracted file directory, there should be the same file name you want, just not as .fla but as a .xfl version. This means an uncompressed version (I have no idea what that really means) - double click on that same named file.xfl
7) This .xfl file then opened for me in Flash
8) Save that file again as .fla, add back any images that were needed and corrupted - mine were not needed so I just left them.
I love working with flash but the instability is really a problem - I pretty much have to save a working file to another location and then try to reopen that before closing the original or shutting down / restarting. This time I was lucky (only 1 hour of research and trial and error to recover) but previously I have had 0 byte files and had no choice but to start again (since time machine failed to save earlier versions).
Suggested resolution adobe developers:
It would be very useful if Flash told you which files were corrupted and then gave you an option to open the document with corrupted files removed as a copied version - at least this way we could work with most of the file to rebuild.

This problem has been around for years and the solution you suggest is only the second best in my opinion.
The best would be to have a Failsafe like many other products/companies already have going: Corel, Autodesk, Microsoft etc.:
If their programs stop working they alert you to the fact and give you the opportunity to safe a copy of the file under a different name.
Can`t be Rocket Science. If you can`t make your products work reliable, at least come up with manageable solutions.
There is at least one day a month were I would be really lost without the ability of our company to rewind to the xfl version of yesterday.
I can`t imagine what someone that works as a freelancer and hasn`t got the redundancy of companies has to go through if Flash burns him/her on a regular basis.

Vendor invoice - Profit Center not being pulled from cost-center

Hi Guys,
Please help me out with this:
On the vendor expense line item, i am using an account which has a Field status group which is cost center - optional, business area - required and profit center - required. The cost center master has the profit center and business area both populated.
But when i try just populating the cost center on the expense line item, the profit center is not being populated automatically which it should. Can you please guide me what the problem can be? Is it in the field status group or maybe in the linking of the cost center and profit center.

Are you talking about vendor line item or expenses line item?
if you are talking about expense line item,check profit center is activated or not and validity period.
check profit center assignment in KS03 t.code.
if your talking about vendor line item,what version of SAP are you using?
if your using clasical GL and PCA,process T.code 1KEK - Transferring Payables/Receivables .

Open Document is not visible in F-53

Hi All,
We are not able to make vendor payment by using T-code F-53, getting a warning message saying There were no open item.
When we checked in the vendor balance using FBL1N , there are many open items which are due for payments.
Payment Terms : Pay Immediate
Payment block also checked its fine, there is no block for payment.
Request your help in resolving the issue.

I can open all my documents but than I cant read whats wirten!! Special at nummbers and pages! At nummbers if i click in to the page i can see in the top line what sould be in the box but dont see it at the page

BUT in the same word document some contents were being crawled but some of it not.
Example Below : I can search "Border Terraces" but when I key in "BT140" it always return "We did not find any results for BT140."

Document Number not being updated

Hello
I am running into this issue at the time of posting any FI document (invoice/payment/reversal). I get an error saying ex: Doc #1900000000 already exists. which is true, that document already exists. the problem is that it is the first number in the range. I have already posted more than 50 documents and the next number should be 19000000051 or something. I checked the number range and none of them are assigned externally. I also noticed that the current status for all was "0" instead of the current number. So i manually updated the current number and was able to post that document. However, the current document number in FBN1 (Status) did not get updated so I was not able to post the next consecutive document and get the same error (saying document 190000051 already exists). Its like the system is not automatically picking the next consecutive number.
I am not sure what the issue is because i didnt have any problems until yesterday. Could it be due to the period change (Sept 1st today)
Any help would be highly appreciated

Can you please re-check in tables Number ranges for Document type, same Number range you have assigned the Number range Intervals.
Check Table T003 for Document type to Number range
Check Table TNRGT for Number range for intervals

My open tabs are not being restored/remembered after closing

Hi,
I have my settings set to "Show windows and tabs from last time", however for some reason its not working anymore. Whenever I close my tabs, Firefox warns me that I'm closing multiple tabs and when I reopen Firefox, I only get my homepage.
In the options menu, I've set the options to be "Show windows and tabs from last time" and in the Privacy setting, I have "Firefox will remember history", so I don't think its my settings.
I saw a thread about "browser.sessionstore* prefs" on a previous page that seemed to work for them, but all of my prefs seem to already be set to default (which is what was recommended), so I'm not sure what I should do there? I'm not tech savvy, so I dont feel comfortable mucking around with those settings when I dont really know what I'm doing, and they all seem to be set to default anyway.
Also, my 'restore previous session" and "restore recently closed tabs" are greyed out in the history section, so the only way I have to get my tabs back is to open "recently closed windows".
If anyone could please point me in the right direction to solving this it would be MUCH appreciated! I rely on this feature heavily, and am finding it really frustrating to not have easy access to my tabs from last session.

When updating to version 36, if you are updating from more than two versions before, the session file structure changed in your profile. This is now in sessionstore-backups folder. However this should not affect if updating from 35.
Are these also greyed out:
Recently Closed Tabs & Recently Closed Windows
It is greyed out "either due to:
* your startup setting ([[Startup, home page and download settings]])
* Firefox recovering from a crash during shutdown, or
* a user.js file overriding your normal startup setting (your system info doesn't show the third file, so I think we can rule that out)"
For future times that this may happen, the add on: session-manager is a nice backup to have.

Icloud - numbers document is not being pushed to my iPad,

This was working before and it just stopped. none of my setting have changed which really irritates me, I have better things to do then track down why this stop working out of the blue. Can you tell im not a happy camper! Apple wont talk to you without money up front as if they dont already have enough.
Once this is set up it is supposed to just work what a bunch of BS. If I wanted this kind of nonsens, I would have stayed with Microsoft.

My 2009 macbook microsoft word documents are not being accepted as files.

My 2009 Macbook seems to be falling behind. Using Mac OS X (Version 10.6.8) and Microsoft Word for Mac 2008 (version 12.3.6).
For some reason, my files do not work online. They are "invalid." For example, "invalid file type" popped up on my school online dropbox and my online grad school application. My files are, however, in the correct (doc, docx, pdf) file types. I had to go on campus and use a PC to upload assignments and applications.
Not sure if it's my software or old word version.
Anywho, I just need some answers!

Regardless of what system you are on (Windows/Mac), a filename extension is required when transferring files online. This was noted in the error message of your initial post:
No File Extension For This File **File Name**
Make sure this file has the correct extension.
You would have had the same problem on Windows if you neglected a filename extension.
It might be a bit more likely to accidentally save a file without an extension on Mac because Mac has been able in the past to work without filename extensions. This is changing. Everyone should be using filename extensions if they expect to effectively share files.
