F-Secure Key: Password history

Please implement automated versioning and history for passwords. It is too easy now to accidentally change a password as it is, and there is no way to revert or look back what the previous password was.

I am using iOS 8.4 on iPad and iPhone. I have windows 10 installed on my pc. There are 39 passwords stored.
I have version 3.3.101 installed on the PC
If I sync the pc with either the iPhone or iPad and then enter the password f secure key crashes ,

    Hi
    On my macbook pro
I'm try to set up a new Epson printer SX 445 to my router/network but each time I run the set up wizard it fails to complete saying Security Key/Password Check fail.
*entered security key/password does not match the one set for for router.
I know that the password is correct and have rechecked this by changing it a few times
and I still get the same result.
My network internet service provider is not interested and says to call Epson.
Anybody have any clues how I can resolve this?
    Regards

I personally suggest the new Drobo FS. Since it has an iTunes server built in and you can use any size sata hard drive in it it is better and a NAS that has to use the same size drives.

  • Home Hub 3 security keys/passwords

Are the keys/passwords provided on the little plastic pull out unique to each Home Hub?
I'm just wondering if I need to change them to my own.
I remember reading somewhere that people could jockey your wifi as most people didn't change their passwords and that alot of modem/routers had default passwords that were widely known.
How is the Home Hub security out of the box?
I've also read that you can reset the HH back to factory settings and this reverts the passwords back to what is supplied on the dongle.  Simply with a paperclip?

I remember reading somewhere that people could jockey your wifi as most people didn't change their passwords and that alot of modem/routers had default passwords that were widely known. NO they can only use BT WiFi  which operate seperatly to your own wireless connection
How is the Home Hub security out of the box? As secure as any other router
I've also read that you can reset the HH back to factory settings and this reverts the passwords back to what is supplied on the dongle.  Simply with a paperclip? A factory reset only resets all of the HUBS details back to there default settings   it does not affect any dongle

I have recently upgraded to Mountain Lion thinking that it might solve the problem but it hasn't worked.
It's possible your current os has different keychain troubleshooting solutions.  Try re-posting (copy paste) over in the OS X Mountain Lion forum area and do a Knowledge Base search.
Have you tried setting up a new account to see if your issue appears there?  If you have Apple Care, give them a call or take your computer to the nearest Apple Store or an AASP as you are still under warranty.

the appletv will not be able to work on it's own
you can use a computer or iphone acting the role of hotspot login using it's browser and getting internet access and then sharing it with the appletv
so the appletv sees it as a wifi router it connects to

To be more precise you can use something like
keytool -list -keystore ${wl_home}/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks -storepass DemoTrustKeyStorePassPhrasewhich leads to the following output

    Keystore provider: SUN

  • Network security key resets every few hours

Hi all, I have had an 802.11b wireless router for a few years now, and over the past few months I have been getting kicked off the network every few hours and having to reset the router in order to get back on. I ran a diagnostic check and it is telling me that my security key is not correct, even when it is the same saved password that I was using that earlier let me on the network (as in, I only typed it once for both times). Is this a known error? Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am thinking I will just replace the equipment but I'm curious to see if anyone else has had such strange experience. This happens to me on either XP or Vista. Any advice or thoughts are appreciated.

    Hi,
First thing you should try is to update the firmware of the router. As your router is a bit older.
After this Check the security key by logging to routers setup and if it is not your security key, then you can change it.
To check security key, connect your computer to one of the four ports on router using ethernet cable.
    1.      Open setup page of router by typing http://192.168.1.1 in browser’s address bar, and typing password as "admin" and no user name. Use your password if you have changed it earlier
    2.      Go to wireless tab.
    3.      Go to wireless security sub-tab
    4.      If security mode is wpa or wpa2 note down passphrase/shared key, if security mode is WEP note down wep key number 1. This will be your network key

  • Does WLS 5.1 support private key passwords like WLS 6 does ?

WebLogic 6.0 supports private key passwords as described here http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs60/adminguide/cnfgsec.html#1053139,
    summarized here;
"When using PKCS-8 encrypted private keys, you need to enable the Use Encrytped
Keys field on the SSL tab of the Server window in the Administration Console.",
plus you need to use this diraective -Dweblogic.management.pkpassword=
I can't find any support for this in WLS 5.1. Does 5.1 support this additional
    level of security ?
    Thanks.

In order to have the weblogic.mangement.pkpassword stuff work two other things need to have happened first:
    1) you generated a protected private key rather than just a "regular" private key. In the Certificate Servlet this is done by typing characters into the password field of the form to generate the key and
then later passing those characters to the weblogic.management.pkpassword commandline attribute.
    2) you set the KeyEncrypted attribute in the SSL page in the console
You can use protected/encrypted private keys or not but you need to make sure that you actually generated an encrypted private key and you've set SSL to use an encrypted private key and told the
server to start up with an encrypted private key.

  • How to locate my network security key

I wrote this same request a month or so ago and can no longer locate my 'saved' message.  Would someone please forward me the link again on how to locate the network security key so I may add another computer to my wi-fi.
And another question, will there be any change that more than one security key will appear and if so, how will I determine which key is the proper key to use?
    Thank you much.

The "key" is another word for your normal wireless network "password", sometimes called a "pass phrase".
The password generates a 64 character code of random letters and numbers. I doubt that this would be of any use to you, but if you want to see it.....
Open AirPort Utility on your Mavericks Mac
Click the AirPort icon, the click Edit
Click the Base Station icon at the top of the screen
    Click Show Passwords
More likely, you have a Windows Firewall issue, or Microsoft Security Essentials...if installed....is blocking the connection.  The anti-virus program can do the same thing.
