F1 help blank

Hello SAP experts:
I have new laptop with Windows Vista and our F1 help appears blank due to internet explorer 7.0. IE 7.0 is now integral component of Vista and cannot be uninstalled. It also does not support IE 6.0. Can anyone advise on this?

Hi Atul,
I don't think it is because of IE. have you checked with your basis if some settings are wrong or you may raise an OSS message for the same.

Help: blank photo in all but web module

Hi, just upgraded to v2 of LR, huge problem, all photos imported are shown as blank. I have tried to re-import, create a fresh profile etc...nothing works. LR only shows square photo placeholder with large number identifying the photo. But the web module works, photos are shown just fine.
I've opened same set of photo in PS3, ACDSEE, they are all fine. Previews don't work either, its as if LR Library/Dev/Slideshow/Print modules don't recognize them. Can anyone help?

have you backed up and rebuilt the thumbnails (depress the option and command keys and launch iPhoto use the rebuild thumbnails option)

Finder/Help Blank, Jumpy or Missing on Intel iMac Core Duo

I'm trying to access the 'help' menu in the finder. I get a variety of problems but generally the help menu is blank or does a merry dance whenever I try and use it. In particular, the second item on the help menu is the offending one "...Work, Play .... It appears to have a missing icon - which is replaced by a '?'.
I've tried most of the so-called solutions including an erase/reinstall but to no avail. They DO NOT HELP. This has been the case since day 1.

Hi Spetsnaz, try this:
Navigate to ~(yourhome)/library/caches and delete this folder:
com.apple.helpui folder.
Try Help. Did that solve the problem? If not:
Navigate to ~(yourhome)/library/preferences and delete the following files:
com.apple.help.plist
com.apple.helpui.plist
com.apple.helpviewer.plist
Log out and back in or restart.
Let us know.
I'm not sure about any Intel specific issues but this might help.

Help Blank Router Page

I have a WRT54GS router. Every time I log into the router setup page: 192.168.1.1, I get a blank router page. I only see WRT54GS up in the right hand corner. I also see a question (?) mark which I can click on and I get a page that I quess (?) is for port forwarding. I have tried IE7, Firefox and Opera, all of them show the same thing.
What is wrong?? I would really like some help with this.

do u have any firewall installed on the computer?? if yes , disable the firewall and then try to access http://192.168.1.1 again... or else go to ftp.linksys.com/pub/network and download the tftp.exe file ... also , go to www.linksys.com/download and download the firmware for the coressponding version number of the router..
run the tftp file ... here , the server is router's ip address...password is router's password..and browse the firmware file and then click upgrade...
after the firmware upgrade is done , reset the router and reconfigure it...

I understand that when you power your computer on, the light is on and the CapsLock blinks, but you have a blank screen.Here is a link to HP Desktop PCs - Computer Starts but Monitor Remains Blank (Windows 8).As you stated you see lights flashing by the CapsLock, I think this will help. Blank Screen LED Error Codes. Please let me know the results.

**Help, blank monitor on New PC build with NX8400GS-TD series**

I am having a problem with my new computer build:
Mainboard : MSI X48C Platinum
CPU:Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
PSU: Ultra 650 Watt Atx power supply
Memory : 4 Gig DDR3PC3-8500
HDD: 500 Gig WD Caviar SE16 ATA 7200/16MB/SATA-3G
Video Card: NX8400GS-TD Series
DVD Drive: LG 22X DVDRW SATA OEM (L49-1028 OEM )
The problem is that when I turn on my computer it powers on but I am getting a blank screen on my monitor. I have tried removing all devices (HD, DVD Drive) and leave the barebones, but it still does nothing. I know that the monitor that I am using is good because I tried it on a different computer and it works. can anyone please help me out?

You have misunderstood what I was saying. During the Power-On-Self Test, the initialization of the output devices happens rather late in the test cycle.

**Help** Blank Boxes on File menu

My iTunes program plays music, burns CD's, and has all of the functions needed. However, I can not choose anything on the file menu or any menus on the top. All it shows is little square boxes. And now on the left hand side instead of showing my iPod or the library, it only has a bunch of squares??? I am able to click on the library and it works but only because I know where that option is. Please help!!
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, restart computer, but still no display??? Any solutions would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you!

Help, blank screen will not even boot in safe mode!

Model name: A505-S6960, model: PSAPOU-007007.
I know I got some error but I can't remember I turned the power off and when I powered it up again nothing! I can't even boot it in safe mode I just get black screens. I have NO IDEA what to do. Help

1.)try this first. remove the battery and power cable and hold the power button for at lest 30 second. plug the power cord back in and see if it starts. if not same as before but put just the battery back in and try it. if not same thing but put battery and power cord back in and try it.
2.)they havent come with a recovery disc for a few years now. there is a recovery partition on your hard drive that you are supposed to make the recovery media from when you first get it. if you didnt make these discs you will have to call toshiba at (800) 457-7777 to get a set. they will run you about $25 for shipping but the discs are free.

What happend is that i wan't to port forward an aplication so i went to 192.168..... And the application wasn't there so i went to advanced settings and continue to advance settings it just came up with this

Urgently need help: blank white screen at start with unusual symbol...

I just turned on my 24 inch early-2008 model iMac, and it came up with a blank white screen, with a grey circle and a line through the middle of the circle. It doesn't say what this means in the manual. Recently, I have been having numerous troubles with my iMac, and I have seen the symbol of the grey folder with the question mark, but not this new symbol. I only just got off the phone to the Apple people when this happened.
What does this mean? Is my computer done for?

For starters, start your Mac while holding down the Alt/Option-key until the Boot Selection screen is shown.
Choose to boot into OSX (usually the icon labeled Macintosh HD).
If succesful and you get into OSX go to System Preferences the Startup Volume and reset your OSX to be the default.

HELP Blank CD not recognized

Tried 4 different brands of CD's all eject when trying to burn from I-Tunes.

deb, when iTunes opens after you insert the CD-R, pick the playlist that contains the songs you want to burn, make sure the songs are selected (box checked), then click the Burn Disc button. Once the CD has been burned it should appear in the list on the left and the Desktop.

I was using my iPod in my car tonight and it just died after using it and downloading things all day on it it's been on charge for 20 minutes and a black screen

Creative Cloud app Windows 8.1 Black Screen.

Hello. I recently downloaded the Creative Cloud on my Windows 8.1 in order to try some of adobe's CC products. The problem is that the app doesnt start, it just stays on a black screen, like that.
I tried reinstallig it several times, but nothing seems to work.
What shoud I do??

Why can my Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 ever find my internet connection for updates etc.

For some time, my Abobe Photoshop Elements always tried to register (already registered on Adobe website) every time I open it, and it can never find my internet connection!

Which operating system are you using?
The registration and updates don't work in pse 6, so there is nothing to do but keep the registration window from always appearing.

If your using a windows system, you may have to run pse 6 as an administrator once for the above to work.
Right click on the pse 6 shortcut and select Run As Adninistrator
