F110 - Calculate Witholding Tax in other currency
Hi gurus.
I have a problem with my system. Let me explain something about my customization, we have set 3 currencies for our main ledger.
So, when we want to generate a payment document using the F110 transaction, we have a problem at the time the system calculate the withholding amount in PEN.
We have 3 documents:
Document
Amount USD (ML)
Amount PEN (ML3)
Withholding Tax (6%)
Doc 1
1000
2,804.03
168.24
Doc 2
1000
2,803.00
168.18
Doc 3
1000
2,807.02
168.42
Plus
3,000.00
8,414.05
504.84
b. The withholding Tax position is supposed to be calculated at the time of the payment, also, that position in the third currency is supposed to be calculated using the Exchange rate of the conversion date.
When I pay using F110 Transaction
Exchange Rate of the conversion Date: 0.35474
(see attached document)
c. When I pay using the F-53 transaction, things are different, as you can see; the withholding tax position is correctly calculated.
(see atached document)
d. How Can I solve this issue?
Hi Oren,
I'm not working your Localization and my localization doesn't have the Tax Report.
i think, your Tax Report PLD Fields are HardCoded in PLD.
If you need List of Variables for this report. Try this,
Variables may change between versions & even patches & it is not recommended to use them in pld templates.

Witholding Tax to be stopped at F110 level is that possible ???
Hi SAP Experts,
Is there any way to stop witholding tax getting deducted in F110 for a Vendor
This Vendor has witholding tax codes X1, Y1, Z1 etc.....this are configured at the time of Payment Posting so during F110 the withlding tax codes are coming which is actually correct, but due to some corrections i want to stop this at F110 level is it possible ???
there are other manual options also for stopping this but i want to do this automitically at f110 level.
Is this possible i know my reqirement is strange but that is what client wants, he does not want it to be done manually
Thanks in advance for your post !!!Hello Vijay,
If you are talking about :
a) Down payment : Yes, you can do that in FBZP configuration under All Company Codes push button. You can keep the field Sp. G/L transactions to be paid as blank or can restrict the Spl GL indicators.
b) One time basis for final vendor payment : No, there is no such settings which can restrict for one F110 run.
c) Permanantly ignore WT : Yes, you can change the print program (Eg., RFFOUS_C) so that it ignores at the time of payment run.
Hope this clarifies.

Dear all
There is one vendor having Invoice TDS tax code and Payment Tax code in Vendor master code.We have deducted TDS, while booking the Invoice(Inv. amt is Rs 200000, TDS isRs 18000 and the net payment to be done is Rs 182000.Now the user wants to pay the full amount Rs200000 to the vendor in F110. He wants to ingore or cancel the deductions booked at the time of invoice.I cannot remove the tax codes in FB02 as they are in grey mode.
Is it posisble to pay full amount through F110 ?
Can any of you suggest me.
Thanks,
KumarHi Kumar,
The scenario will not be possible if you have the extended witholding tax activated, which means if you have assigned the tax code in the vendor master the system will calculate the tax while posting an invoice or making a payment.
If you manually account for TDS (enter TDS manually) then the mentioned scenario would be possible and you can make the payment too.
Hope this helps.

RPUQSTC0 - Witholding tax update
Hi all,
I need to update Swiss witholding tax information for 2007 and I find out that I can do it with the files from Cantonal Tax Office and the report RPUQSTC0.
I have the files but I can't find documentation regarding the report.
Where can I find more information?
Regards.Hi,
The reason could be, end user may entered the TDS line items manually, instead of automatic update.
I will tell u the situation clearly.
When we try to post an invoice, system will pop up for TDS data, if we press ok, it will calculate automatically. If it was posted automatically, then the same information will be updated in WITH_ITEM table. You can get this information, whether it was entered manually or automatically by using t.code:FB03
Enter the relevant document no, then click on With holding tax Tab available in menu bar.
If you can find the data in that box, it was updated automatically, if that box was blank, then it is sure that end user entered that TDS line items manually.
If you need any further clarification call me on mobile. We had this issue long back.
If it was entered manually, the only solution is to reversal.
Otherwise they has to issue to manual certificates to the vendor.
All the best
Prasad

Witholding Tax Information system (J1INMIS) Not updating (FICA)
Hi Experts,
We are using ECC 6.0 recently we upgrated with EHP 5. And the current system (FICO) is working fine with TDS calculations and Witholding Tax Information system (J1INMIS) gets updated perfectly.
We are implimenting FICA (student Accounting). FICA has a provision to calculate the TDS so all TDS Calculations done in FICA.
While we transfer the data from FICA to FICO all GL's gets update even TDS GL also getting update. But when I Check the Report Witholding Tax Information system (J1INMIS) the TDS calculated from FICA is note appearing in this report. But appearing in TDS GL's.
I assume FICO system will not have any Vendor information because In FICO all vendor balances will get update to only reconciliation key as vendor are in FICA system.
Another problem is how I can take TDS Certificates for vendors If the Tax Information system doesn't update.
Please suggest.....
Kind Regards,
ShivajiTo get TDS certificate we use T code J1INMIS, Pls dont go to This T code: Follow this:
1. J1INCHLN
2. J1INBANK---Bank no, will be Check Issue A/C.
3. J1INCERT----In this document date should be end of the month date exampl=31/03/2011
After giving all the details in J1INCERT
select - Ctrl S (Save the document_

Printing witholding tax in AP invoice
In the layout to print the Ap invoice i need to print the witholding tax. however the invoice can be in local currency or foreign currency. i can not find the variable to use which will work in both case. Either I get the local currency or the foreign currency value. I do not want to make two forms, one for each case.
in teh same context i would like to know ehre or how i can find the syatem variable number corresponding to the different variables.Hello,
The determination of the withholding tax in the order is correct,
because there are only the condition base value is display, but not
the condition value.
This systembehaviour is absolutely correct, because the withholding
tax is only now active in FI.
Therefore this condition type is only displayed in SD without values.
For the determination of the withholding tax a table with the data
of the withholding taxes is build. (taccit_wt)
Therefore you need the customizing settings from FI and it is not possible to determine the values in the SD documents.

Claudia

Witholding Tax - SRM 7.0 Ext Classic
Hi,
After creating the invoice in SRM, I check the PO History in R3 4.7 I drill down into the invoice/accounting doc and the witholding tax code does not get populated.
I have already done the following.
Completed all general tax configuration in SRM including defining the witholding tax config for the BE system and vendor. The vendor master in R3 is setup with a witholding tax code and the vendor has been replicated to SRM.
If you simply enter an invoice directly in r3 against this vendor then the witholding tax code is picked up in the accounting doc.
It seems that the new witholding tax config in SRM is not doing anything at all.
Thanks,
MattHi Matt
You can also enter and calculate withholding tax. In some countries, this tax is liable at the beginning of the payment flow and is not transferred by the taxable entity to the tax authorities. You define whether withholding tax is active for a country or a supplier in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server Cross-Application Basic Settings Tax Calculation Activate Withholding Tax .
if you are very confident. create oss message.escalate to SAP.

Hi Experts,

2. 194I - Payment in excess of Rs.1,80,000 p.a.

AbhiHi,
1. 194C - Payment in excess of Rs.30,000/- in a single payment or Rs.75,000 in aggregate in a FY
Not possible to meet entire requirement.
2. 194I - Payment in excess of Rs.1,80,000 p.a.
it is possible
suggest you to use the Accumulation function
Please also maintain the Minimum /Maximum amounts per with holding Tax Type & use the below mentioned path for the same
SPRO>Financial Accounting>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Withholding Tax>Extended Withholding Tax>Calculation>Minimum and Maximum Amounts>Define Min/Max Amounts for Withholding Tax Types
Assign the Maximum base amount as Rs.180000/-
then at the time of calculating Withholding Tax it will calculate tax for anything excees of the above mentioned amount

Witholding Tax Through MIRO/MRRL
Hi,
I have a Requiremnt where the Withholding Tax should not be calcualted for certain materials (based on Material Group) even if the Vendor/Invoicing Party is subjected to Witholding Tax.
I cant change the Vendor master, because witholding tax should be calculated for this Vendor for all other materials except the specified material.
Currently witholding tax gets calculated through FM FI_WT_ERS_INITIALIZATION. It mainly uses the LIFNR (Invoicing Party) to calculate withholding tax so if the IP is subjected to withholding tax, it will get calculated.
Is there any BADI or User Exit, where I can check for the Material Group of the PO line item and based on the that prevent the withoding tax from getting calculated.
Thanks & Regards
Rajanish ShettyHi,
1.- in program RMMR1MRS (transactiont MRRL) you have a call to fm MRM_INVOICE_VERIFICATION_ERS.
2.- fm MRM_INVOICE_VERIFICATION_ERS calls fm MRM_INVOICE_CREATE
3.- and fm MRM_INVOICE_CREATE calls MRM_FINAL_CHECK
4.- In fm MRM_FINAL_CHECK
you have:
-- call BADI to change withholding tax or vendor split table -
PERFORM whtax_split_update TABLES t_drseg
t_errprot
CHANGING rbkpv

SAP B1 - Witholding Tax Rounding Difference
Hi all,
Is there a way to turn off rounding difference for Withholding Tax? There isn't any rounding at Withholding Tax Table but the AP Invoice displayed the value with rounding.
Tried the setting at Administration > Setup > financial > Currencies > Set the currency to no rounding. But, the result is still the same.Actually, I don't prefer a rounding. Is there a way to turn it off? The case that I encountered when the base amount of an AP invoice is 7360 with 3% witholding tax. The Withholding tax amount in Withholding Tax table show 220.80 but when back to AP Invoice document, it was round up to 221.00. I want the amount to reflect what is calculated in Witholding Tax Table as 220.80.
Please advise what could be the solution. Thanks. -
Calculate Withholding taxes for VEndor Invoices using ABAP program.
Hi All,
I have to upload Vendor Invoices using FB60/Fb01 tcodes. I am able to post the Invoices using FB01/Fb60
but I have to calculate extended withholding taxes also using this program for the Invoices.
Is it possible to upload vendor Invoices and calculate withholding taxes using Program?
If yes,
Does anyone has any idea how do you calculate extended withholding taxes using any BAPI's?
I have used these two BAPI's
BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST
BAPI_acc_invoice_receipt_post
they are working fine but without withholding tax.
This is a requirement for country India.
Regards,
SushilHi,
Imho, you need to get (meaning, extract into separate fields) the different supplier types from Table1 first. Your key for Table1 is the vendor no, which is also the key in Table2 (or the key for Table2 is Vendor no & Type).
For better performance, better select multiple/all required entries from Table1 instead of doing a select endselect.
Depending on the format of the vendortypes in Table1, put them in a new itab (for our purpose named Table1New where vendor no & type are the only 2 fields. For example, if the type length is fixed to 2 chars, or divided by space,... use your coding accordingly.
Next step is to select all vendor no's in Table2 which you have selected in Table1. If in Table2, the vendor no is the only key (and the all vendor types are filled in a single record), then loop check the vendor types from Table1New against the types in Table2.
If the key of Table2 is vendor no & vendor type, then do a read table for the key.
The logic in pseudo-code:
Select from Table1 into table. If you'd like to limit the selection size, add package size statement.
extract the vendor types in to itab Table1New.
Select the vendor & types from Table2 by using the for all entries option (better performance).
loop at Table1New
check in Table2:
if the unique key is vendor no: check all fields for the vendor type from Table1New
if the unique key combo is vendor no & type: check by using a read table.
If not found => add entry to Table2
endloop.
endselect Table1 (when using package size)
I guess the most difficult step is to extract the types from Table1 into separate fields, all the rest seems straight forward. Please keep in mind the itab type definitions for a better performance.
Good luck!
Best regards,

alvinHi Edward,
thanks for your quick reply
regarding to your answer,
i'm using the latest patch of 2005A SP01 (PL 22)
if i created via SBO interface (GUI), as we knew that base amount in WTax Table
is filled automatically depend on Total Before Discount (in case of Net), but
my problem is when i create via DI API (SDK) object (Witholding Tax Object) (not using SBO GUI). I cannot set the base amount value, so I got those Error message which i already posted above.
Please your advice
Thanks & rgds
