F110 - Export from SAP has unicode format instead of ANSI

when user is exporting files from SAP they have encoding UNICODE, instead of ANSI format The transcation used is F110.

please check SAP note 855841 - depending on the various options to create the file, there are different solutions.

Exporting from imovie has no audio

I am trying to export my imovie to different formats and each time I cannot hear any audio on the exported file, What gives?
I have tagged both audio channels in the timeline.
I have checked the EDIT VOLUME button also.
Nothing works.
Is the problem with imovie or quicktime player?

I think you are trying to import the wrong type of clips...
As I said before--iMovie does not work with muxed MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 clips

Fail to export from SAP to Excel on SAPGUI 640 on NW04

Hi
I have a user who is trying to use the export to excel button in a standard SAP transaction, when he uses it, he gets all the questions, chooses excel to export to, chooses table, then nothing happens, he just gets the standard message 'save data in the spreadsheet'.
I logged onto his PC & used SAPGUI in ST03N, when i tried the export I got the same issue, selected all the export options to table for excel, no errors, but excel does not load? I did the export on my PC from ST03N and all worked ok and excel started and exported the data as expected, so its the users SPAGUI/PC/Excel.
No other users are having this issue, lots are exporting to Excel ok, even loaded it and then done the export with Excel already started and fails to export. The PC is a standard build, same as the rest, as is SAPGUI 640.
The desktop PC team have passed this onto me and i'm the basis admin, i've ran things like SAPCHECK in the past, has anyone got any ideas what I can check to find out why Excel is failing to start on users PC when triggered from SAPGUI? are there any specific options you need selected on SAPGUI install to allow export to work?
Out desktops are Windows XP Pro and Office 2000.
We are running NW04 & ERP2004 on Windows 2003 64 bit & SQL Server 2000

Just check if the users authorizations are alright. Check if she has the activity 61 in authorization object S_ALV_LAYO. If she doesnot have assign it to her and then check again.

Exporting from SAP Crystal Presentation Design to PowerPoint

I have been using CrystalXcelsius Standard 4.5 with Windows XP for a couple years. My company recently migrated to Windows 7. I've been told the new version of Xcelsius I need to purchse is SAP Crystal Presentation Design which is supposed to be compatible with the new operating system. I like the software as it seems to be what I need to continue creating Dashboards for my group. However, after having difficuty exporting to PowerPoint as I have done in the past for general viewing, I've stumbled upon release notes that say though this software is compatible with Windows 7 operating system, it is not compatible with the PowerPoint software within Windows 7, and I must save the exported file in PowerPoint 2003. However, when I open the PowerPoint document after exporting, the documement initially looks blank until I click Slideshow, then I get a "Securty Alert - Marcros and ActiveX" message that says "Macros and one or more ActiveX controls have been disabled" and I have to choose either "protect me from unknown content (recommended)" or "enable content". I've been choosing the recommended option. Once I do so the imported dashboard appears. My initial question is am I performing the import correctly, and if so is there a way to get around that error message? My management presents these dashboards to others both inside and outside the company and would prefer that the error does not keep popping up.

Hi,
First of all the message you are getting is not an error its an alerts.and its quite common. this is a standard check,if you want you can bi-passions(not recommended for all applications) this alert.
Open a power point open Power Point Options -> Trusted center -> Trust center settings -> Select active X settings -> Select Enable all controls => Now select macro Settings and do the same.
And you can avoid alert message.

Book from iTunes has a format issue

I purchased a book in iTunes earlier today. When I opened it, there were missing letters and typos everywhere. Additionally, the table of contents and several other places seem to have a format issue. For instance, most of the chapter names should be aligned on the left and the pages they start on to the right. It is all over the place. Some in the middle, some on the left, and some on the right. An example of missing letters (Tis instead of This). There are a lot of missing letters. An example of other typos are there are letters in the middle of words that are capitalized.
I've already deleted the book and downloaded it again. Where should I go from here?
I should mention that this is on an original iPad.

I too am having the issues Ip1979 is having! Could you be more specific (helpful) as to where we might find information that addresses this problem. I have looked in support and I cant see anything that specifically deals with what I perceive as a "junk" book that is not formated correctly for ibooks. Maybe I'm just missing it!

How to send an invoice from SAP in .XSV format

I have a requirement, where the government authorities requires a copy of every invoice created in SAP to be sent to them in .XSV format. Can anybody explain me elaborately what is this XSV format and the stuff related to that file format?

.XSV extension is is the official reference implementation for the XML Schema language so, in order to create an invoice with XML format you need to "transform" the data into that format.
One option fully integrated with SAP is by sending an IDOC to PI and there the IDOC is mapped into XML fields.
If you are not using PI or XI maybe you will need a third party provider.

Exporting from PHOTOS has no file size/naming option.

I have always been able to download from my D750 in RAW NEF, and convert to JPEG when needed and given a size option. I no longer see it. Is it gone? The same goes for naming an individual file. Is that gone? It also just converted a 200 monochrome photo shoot which took quite a bit of time to set up contrast, brightness, etc., to color upon download. This will take a substantial amount of time to re-edit to get it back these pictures back to their original state, if I can. Have all my previous files/albums been modified (size/resolution)? Just what went on here?

Receive idocs from SAP in XML format

Hi everyone.
Currently, to receive idocs, what we're doing is, we create an external RFC server, and listen to invocations of the RFC IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS and IDOC_PROCESS_INBOUND. However, this leads us to receive idocs in EDI_DD/EDI_DD40 and EDI_DC/EDI_DC40 formats.
Is it possible to receive idocs in XML format via the RFC Server interface?

Unable to Open spreadsheets exported from SAP in Smartphones like Iphone

Hi, My program sends an email with excel attachment. I am able to open and view the attachments in the mail in Laptops/desktops.
But unable to open the excel attachments in Smartphones like iphone etc. Can any one help me out with a solution?

If the file can be accessed in desktops & laptops i don't think this is a problem with SAP. Anyways search for any available OSS notes.

Export Excel Table in .txt File with space delimited text in UNICODE Format

I've a big unsolved problem: I would like to convert an Excel table with some laboratory data in it (descriptions as text, numbers, variables with some GREEK LETTERS, ...). The output should be a formatted text with a clear structure. A very good solution is
given by the converter in Excel "Save As" .prn File. All works fine, the formattation is perfect (it does not matter if some parts are cutted because are too long), but unfortunately the greek letters are converted into "?"!!!
I've tried to convert my .xlsx File in .txt File with formatting Unicode and the greek letters are still there! But in this case the format is not good, the structure of a table is gone!
Do you know how to save an Excel file in .prn but with Unicode formatting instead of ANSI or a .txt with space delimited text?

This solution works in Excel/Access 2013.
Link the Excel table into Access.
In Access, right-click the linked table in the Navigation Pane, point your mouse cursor to "Export", and then choose "Text File" in the sub-menu.
Name the file, and then under "Specify export options", check "Export data with formatting and layout". Click "OK".
Choose either Unicode or Unicode (UTF-8) encoding. Click "OK".
Click "Close" to complete the export operation.

Exporting from FCP to WMV gives "unrendered" format.

Why when exporting from FCP7 to WMV format, even after rendering the whole sequence, the final file shows "unrendered" when there is text by it self?
I have Flip4Mac pro installed so I am able to render the whole sequence, and even though the playback on the timeline doesn't show any unrendered media, the final .wmv file shows the unrendered screen whenever there is text on a black background between segments of the video.
Any idea? Thank you in advance for any future answer!

Thank you for the reply David. I ended up exporting the movie to Quicktime. Then I used a second software to convert it to WMV. I did this before I saw your reply though.
Amazingly, the first time I did the export it came out great. After I had to make a change and remove a super imposed image a flickering started to happen during the playback of the video media on the timeline and exported file. I am not reconnecting the media again and rendering everything and apparently so far the flickering is going away.
After is done I'll give a try the Compressor and see what's the result.

Downloaded file from SAP to excel 2007(*.xlsx, *.xlsm) - unable to open

I am downloading a data from SAP to excel(*.xlsx) format. I am able to conver/download the file in *.xlsx format, but if try to open the downloaded excel file, it gives teh error message 'Excel cannot open the file 'filename.xlsx' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file'. with a OK button. When I press the OK button, no data is displayed.
So kindly let me know how to download the file from SAP to *.xlsx format without any errors.
Note: I am able to download the data in *.xls format without any erros.

Hi,
You are probably not being able to open the file of .XLSX format because you do not have Microsoft Office 2007 installed on your system. You might be having a lower version of Microsoft Office. e.g. 2003.
What you can do is, before opening the .XLSX file directly on a system which does not have Microsoft Office 2007, you can convert it into .XLS format and then open the same.

This question is a bit off-topic for this forum, but let me give you the following hints:
- SAP Business One and SAP R/3 / mySAP are <u>entirely</u> different products (except that both are ERP systems)
- e.g. SAP Business One is a two tier software vs. R/3 three tier - hence scalability / performance may differ etc.
- In some areas SAP Business One and R/3 follow different concepts so that the data cannot just be exported from one system and imported into the other; some kind of "translation" will be required...
- For SAP Business One a tool named "Data Transfer Workbench" is available to import most of the data from legacy systems
- I don't know whether this has been tried ever before - since usually there's a reason why someone has previously met a decision for SAP R/3 / mySAP...
I propose that you:
- either approach your SAP contact or an SAP implementation partner and/or
- ask you question in the "SAP Business One" forum in the SAP community forum (www.sap.com/community ...)
