F110 Payment Proposal multiple payment lines for same vendor
Hello,
Question for the FI community regarding single payments for multiple invoices for the same vendor. Is there any other place that would dictate the grouping (or non grouping) of multiple payment proposal lines for same vendor payment?
I understand that there are two places:
FBZP - Change view 'Maintenance of Company Code Data for a Payment Method", the flag for 'Single payment for marked item'
Vendor Master - Automatic payment transactions, flag for 'Individual pmnt'
Is there anywhere else where this may be dictated? At my location, we have two company codes that make ACH payments, settings for FBZP (Single payment for marked item flag) and selected vendor for payment in the vendor master is identical. I get different results when viewing the payment proposal for each company code. Company Code A parses out individual line items for payment in the proposal, and Company Code B does not. When I change the flag via FBZP for Company Code A, this resolves the issue. When I make the same change for Company Code B, there is no change.
In all of my testing, I have left the 'Individual pmnt' flag for both vendor masters unchecked.
I'm hoping that somebody in the community here would be able to point me in the right direction to understand why I am getting differences. Is there somewhere else that I can check?

Thanks for your reply, however in my post I already mentioned I have tested out both options via FBZP as well as the vendor master. You are correct, in only one case regarding my situation.
In my example for Company Code B, I have the following scenarios:
1. FBZP - single payment for marked item checked, Vendor individual payment option not checked, result is a single payment item for multiple invoices
2. FBZP - single payment for marked item checked, Vendor individual payment option is checked, result is multiple payment items for each invoice
3. FBZP - single payment for marked item not checked, Vendor individual payment option not checked, result is a single payment item for multiple invoices
4. FBZP - single payment for marked item not checked, Vendor individual payment option is checked, result is a multiple payment items for each invoice
Are you saying that the option in FBZP simply enables the grouping/non grouping based on what the vendor master record payment option is? Typically, that option for vendors is not checked in either of our company codes, therefore if the only difference is the setting in FBZP, then why would I be getting only a single payment for multiple invoices in the case of scenario 1 listed above?
That's why I am wondering if perhaps there is something elsewhere than FBZP and vendor master settings that could be affecting this.

With tax groups you have what is called compound taxes.
A tax group is consisted of more than one tax codes and these tax codes may be related or not to each other,you can also specify the precedence of the tax codes in a tax group.
On the Invoice or order item line, the tax group code is entered and the tax engine calculates the tax for each tax code that belongs to the tax group.
If the user wants to see the taxes of this line he will see detailed the tax amounts and rates of each tax code that belong to this group.
In my case i have used a tax group with 3 tax codes with the structure:
Item line amount 1000
1)The first line is a specific sales tax(12%) with taxable basis the amount of the item line=1000*12%=120
2)The second line is a VAT(23%) tax with taxable basis the amount calculated from the first tax of the group=120*23%=27,6
3) The third line is a VAT(23%) tax with taxable basis the amount of the item line=1000*23%=230
For each item line that has the above tax group, the system creates three seperate tax lines
Your case does not seem so complicate as mine.
You can find more information on the AR user guide and the Oracle receivables tax manual.
On which Ebs version are you working on?
If you sent me more detailed you requirement i can quide you on the way to implement it and test it.

You can't have more than one because the reconcilation account...Because this is the soul account by which you pay to vendor and send the details to further process to FI dept...

Multiple order currency for same vendor
I have a vendor who supplies me on local currency and also import in foreign currency.
Since the bank details are same for this vendor, our accounts is not allowing us to create two different vendor codes.

In SAP, you can maintain certain vendor master data at vendor sub-range level in addition to the data maintained at purchase organisation level.
In Customizing for Logistics General, you can specify whether you wish to maintain VSRs and different data in the vendor master record. Choose Business Partners -> Vendor -> Control Data -> Define Account Groups and Field Selection (Vendors) and select Vendor Sub-Range Relevant/Define Screen Layout Specific to Purchasing Organization.
If you wish to maintain different data for vendor sub-ranges in the vendor master, you must use an account group that allows Data Retention at VSR level.
Then goto purchasing data screen of vendor master and choose Extras -> Addl. purchasing data, and select Allow data retention at VSR level. Now you will see a new button "Vendor Sub-range" by clicking which you can enter a different set of vendor master data including Currency.
To pick this vendor subrange master data in purchase order, you need to enter the vendor sub-range number in purchase order line item material data tab. You can also maintain vendor sub-range number in the info.record and contract. -
1099 payments are not combined for same vendor payments
Hi All
I have a question on 1099 reporting.
My issue is that we are running the report in transaction code s_p00_07000134 separately by company code because all these company codes have separate tax ids except few of them which have same tax ids. My client wants to run them (ccodes with same tax ids) together and if there is a same vendor on these company codes . They are being shown on the report separately and the 1099 forms are printing separately.
Cant the system combine the payments for same vendors under different company codes with same tax ids run together/

Both of them are executed from transaction F110.
Proposal is the first step, in which depending on the parameters you selected, some documents are preselected for payment. Proposals can be deleted and the systems would be as it was. No postings done.
Payment run is the 2nd step and always comes after a proposal. In this step the actual postings are done and documents are created. Also DME (files for banks), checks and/or scripts (letters) can be printed / generated.

I already did that but it is not serving business purpose.
Comm payment - comes diff time than sales payment.
so ,I will post one entry customer will get hit with total amount Sales + commission
like below
Let say 10, 000 is the sales value and 500 is the commission
So , This entry will get posted
Customer Db- 10,500
Sales Cr- 10,000
Comm Income Cr- 500
But, As I said sales amt will be paid before so We need to clear it partially and some time customer pays also diff amount due to some defect.
So, We wont be knowing for which case we have or havnet received the payment against commission.
As , Customer account is got hit with total amount( Sales+ Comm..value).
Pls advise how to solve this.

Unable to enter multiple Schedule lines for BOM material in Sales Order
Hi All,
We have a Sales Order where in which we cannot add additional schedule lines for BOM material.
The schedule lines are greyed out, user was able to add schedule lines earlier.
I have checked all assignments in VOV6, VOV7 and everything seems to be fine and no changes have been made to item category being used.
Please provide a solution for this.

Pls check for that particular customer, only complete delivery allowed(c) is set in the CMR or CMIR. If so, you can't enter multiple schedule lines for that customer.. it would be grayed out in the sales order schedule lines except confirmed line.
or check the problematic sales order at item level shipping tab if the par del/item is set to 'C'

Configuration for consolidated check for same vendor from different company
Hi All,
My company is trying to print a single check for same vendor with same vendor number in multiple company code.
The Automatic payment parameters has all company codes where the vendor is having open items.
But when payment run is carried out and the check is printed, there are more than 1 check printed for the same vendor corresponding to the cleared invoices.
One company is paying for all other companies and still multiple checks are printed.
Can someone help with some lead to resolve this issue.

This can also be because of document splitting. Can you check whether document splitting is active in your system ?
If yes, these are some examples based on which document splitting can happen

Different Pricing Schema in PO and PIR for same vendor and material
Dear Experts,
I am facing an issue related to MM.
I have a vendor and a material under a plant, purchase Org, purchase group.
When we are creating a Purchase Info Record (PIR), it is picking one pricing schema, while when creating PO for same vendor and material, it is picking another different pricing schema.
As per my knowledge, pricing schema in PO is picked as per pricing schema group of Vendor and I believe same applies for PIR as well. I have only one vendor pricing schema group.
Because of this issue, I have to manually key-in condition values in PO for all condition types even though I have maintained a purchase info record.
Please suggest, what can be reason.

Thanks for clearing my doubts.
However, I stuck-up in another issue.
Problem is that condition type- PB00 is linked with almost all pricing schemas.
Hence, I can't change pricing procedure in condition type- PB00.
Also, I can't include all J* related condition types in RM0002 as well.
Hence, if PB00 remains as RM0002 and I maintain my pricing procedure- ZJIMPO to all J* condition types, still I am not able to create PIR for all J* conditions. Error "Condition type J1CV is not in procedure A M RM0002".
How to handle this issue? Please suggest.

Updating multiple bank details for each vendor, through LSMW
Hi,
We need to do a massive update on our vendors bank details, and I'm trying to do it via LSMW. I have two problems.
Each vendor may have several bank accounts. In XK02 they appear in a list, and in LSMW the bank detail fields are inside arrays (for example the bank key on first line would be LFBK-BANKL(0)), but I don't know on what lines are stored the banks I want to update. Is it possible to determine the index n° of the array (line number) just by reading the table LFBK ? I can't go into XK03 for every vendor to check at which line the bank details are stored.
Second, I don't know how to update a different line each time with a single batch input recording. When I record a LSMW batch input, I have to chose a specific field to update, which includes the line n°. How can I specify the line n° as a variable part of the data? Or alternatively, I could record the batch input to update enough lines for each vendor (say 5) and only provide data for the the lines to be updated, but I assume the lines without data would get deleted when the batch is run?

You may create your LSMW with a vendor which has n banks (say 5). You will write 5 rows of bank info. LSMW will create new field names for these areas. 01-02...
