F12 Developer tools disappear when changing zones

I am trying to use the f12 developer network tool to analyze redirects. Unfortunately, every time I migrate from Internet to Intranet zone, the tool disappears. I am guessing this might be by design, but definitely limits the usefulness of the tool. Is there
a way to make it stick? Even if it stops logging, it would be better than disappearing and erasing all the captured data.

What is your Windows version and detailed IE 11 version? Please install the latest updates for your Windows, expecially for IE.
Is there anything on your system that would impact loading a browser control from resources in a dll (specifically the F12Resources.dll under C:\program files\internet explorer\f12resources.dll)? For example do you have any virus scanners or settings that
block the loading?
Run sfc/scannow with admin right, and check if it make any differences.
Reset IE for a test if possible.

    I use ifranview to capture screen shots and resize and compress the image to my requirements.
    If latency or client screen size is an issue I will create two images... a thumbnail and a full screen image and use the design pattern above to link to the full resolution image in a new window.

  • Video tracks disappear when changing between sequences in premiere CS6

    Dear people, can you please help me find out why video tracks disappear when changing between sequences in premiere CS6.
    All it shows is the audio track and it is maximized to the first frame of the sequence. Video tracks are there but hidden - although video IS showing up in the program monitor.
    When I pull the tracks down in the timeline window using the dividing line between the video and audio tracks and set the sequence work area back it works fine, however it is a great annoyance having to do this every time when i swap between sequences.
    Can anybody please suggest a solution to this?

    (basically every type of audio i drop/place onto the timeline becomes left channel only, regardless of it being music or camera-recorded audio.
    In the source monitor everything plays back just fine, but when placed to the timeline - it becomes LEFT only.

  • What development tool should I change for ?

    Hello everyone,
    English is not my native language, please excuse my errors.
    I am currently working at the engineering department of a huge chemical company, and I have been given the responsibility to choose what development tool would suit best for the software developers of the department.
    I am not an expert at all and I need help.
    The developers used to use Forms 6i, but they are planning to change because they want to update all their Oracle tools. The problem is: should they use Forms 11, Jdeveloper, APEX or something else? I have made some research on these tools but I can’t find a comparison of them.
    Up to now, the development team has made softwares with Reports and Forms 6, which were running on Windows XP PCs, connected to an Oracle 8 database on a server. Tired of taking care of installation and administration on every PC, they have decided to make softwares running on server, to be used by many people at the same time through the company’s network.
    My question is: is there a better tool to realise these web based softwares?
    What are the advantages and drawbacks of the different development tools?
    The team is going to “migrate” old softwares as well to make them run on a server, I have tried the APEX 3 migration tool, and Forms 10 migration tool, but I get to nothing good, I am probably doing it wrong… but is there an easy way to migrate from Forms 6i to another tool?
    I really hope that I made myself understood.
    If not, just ask me what you did not understand and I will try to explain better.

    First is to decide with management what is their objective
    then check your budget :)
    joke aside.
    moving to ADF is the best solution but migration requires a major rewriting same with APEX so it is depends on where your expertise are
    APEX is good for small application like 10-20 tables but for enterprise level application you should go for Oracle ADF and Oracle SOA Suite which would help you to improve business processes and control on application and once you migrated you are free for 10 years at-least :)
    Bottom line:
    - if you have more PL/SQL resources migrate to Forms 11g and train your team to Java and Oracle ADF
    - If you have more Java resources then start re-writing from scratch to ADF.
    Migrating to forms 11g is better choice which will keep your platform same so in future you have flexibility to move to ADF without any platform change.

  • Thumbnails disappear when change to any folder

    In Photoshop CS2 when I first start Bridge (CS2 1.0.4.6) my thumbnails show up fine for the Desktop. As soon as I change to any folder the thumbnails turn all white. No matter what folder I change to they are all white, and the number of thumbnails stays the same regardless of how many images are in the folder.
    When I return to the Desktop folder, all the thumbnails are white. If I close Bridge and reopen, the Desktop thumbnails reappear until I change folders again.
    Can anyone help - my Bridge is definitely broken.

    1.  Do you have adequate cache space?  Is it on C drive, or a dedicated drive or partition?  If it is nearly full that could cause problems.
            - 35 GB available on C: using a centralized cache in default location
    2.  Compact the cache.  That will get rid of all unmached files and thumbnails, and reduce its size.
            - I have no option in Bridge to compact the cache that I can find - either in the preferences or from the cache menu (I am using Bridge CS2 with Photoshop CS2)
    3.  Delete temp file with a product like cclean
            - What temp file? I have used CCleaner on numerrous occassions for cleaning up but only recall some files located in a   \CameraRaw\cache location
    4. Go to a folder that has problems.  Then go to Tools/cache/purge cache for xxx folder
            - Did this many times - does not fix problem.
    5. Close program then restart and see if problems are still there in xxx folder
             - same as #4 - opened and closed Bridge and Photoshop many times trying to purge and rebuild. still broken.
    6.  Open Windows Explorer and look at thumbnails.  Look at contents of each folder closely and see if any do not have a thumbnail.  That would indicate you have corrupted files there or bad suffix.  Figure out what it is and fix or delete
         - The files are all okay - Windows Explorer displays thumbnails and I have no problem using Adobe Lightroom and working on any of the files.

  • Sound disappears when changing speaker config

    Hello all, I currently have a bit of an annoying issue when using my x-fi titanium card in vista 64 bit.
    When I goto change my speaker config from headphones to 5.1 or vice versa, the sound from the running apps disappears
    and I have to restart the applications for sound to come back. For example I am playing a song in winamp, i change speaker config
    from 5.1 to headphones, sound gone, close winamp and reopen sound is back. Same thing goes for my games.
    Any possible solutions to this thanks.

    The only thing I don't like about the iPhone headset solution is that the earplugs are uncomfortable, and keep falling out. I basically don't like things stuck in my ear. So I am thinking of buying an actual over-the-ears headset to plug in to the headset port.
    A couple of questions:
    - Is there any reason at all to go USB headset instead? It seems like a waste of a USB port since there is a headset jack.
    - Is there any way of switching the output sound back to the speakers while the headset is plugged in? Or do I have to physically unplug it each time it is not in use for a Skype call (which is the only time I would use it)?

    We are manually adding the users , the system is not determining the approvers for some of the cost centers this is basically for giving the option for user to select his/her approver . Here we are manually adding the two levels of approvers .
    For the manual approval case we are using Adhoc-Approval workflow.
    We have a scenario for a particular account assignment category, the approvers are not determined through the n-step approval badi but are added manually in the approval preview.
    In the case when requisitioner changes any data in the shopping cart which is in awaiting approval or which is rejected by any approver and present in requesitioner inbox, the manually added approvers are disappeared and no approvers are displayed in the approval preview and when the workflow is retriggered with no approvers.
    Is there anyway we can store the manually added approvers in the case when the requisitioner changes the cart.

    I'm using FF on my WinXP machine for some local web development work. I keep it updated, and I've got several extensions active which are also all updated. One day last week the Web Developer submenu lost half of it's menu items for no apparent reason. However in a Private Browsing window the menu is all back to normal.   • Ruler Tool Disappears when starting another Tool

    Is there a way to have the ruler tool remain visible once it has been created and you proceed to use another tool, e.g. I would like to use the ruler to tool as a guide to place lines, but when I select the brush tool to draw the line, the ruler "line" becomes invisible. Any ideas?

    I assume you're talking about the Measure Tool (grouped in the Toolbox with the Eyedropper and Color Sampler Tools).

  • Imported text formatting disappearing when changing font in character palette.

    Something seems to have changed with my InDesign, and I'm not sure why. Here is what I used to be able to do.
    I could import a word doc into a text box. This text would have bold, regular, italics fonts. I would select the text box, then change the font using the character palette by just changing the top font box. For example, if the font imported in as Helvetica but I wanted it all to be Futura, I would select the box and then just type Futura and all of the Helvetica bolds would become Futura Bold, and the Helvetica Italic would become Futura Italic, etc. I didn't have to select each line.
    Now if I try to do that same thing, when I select Futura, it just changes ALL the text to Futura Regular. I lose all previous formatting that was imported in from the word doc.
    I hope this makes sense.
    How can I go back to the way it was?
    PLEASE HELP! This is maddening! Not a big deal for a single flyer design but when laying out a book, this could add DAYS to the project.

    I believe the issue lies in the font palette. Here is what I used to do.
    - New document.
    - Create text box.
    - Select text box.
    - CMD + D
    - Select word doc
    - Text is imported with bolds, italics, etc.
    At this point, let's say I want font to be Myriad Pro...but I want the bold to remain bold and italic to remain italic.
    - Select text box.
    - Type font name into font palette (No dropdown or popup menu used to appear, now it does). Used to just type Myriad Pro then hit return.
    - Font in text would retain bolds and italics and become Myriad Pro. So if a line in the text imported as Helvetica Bold, it would now be Myriad Pro Bold.
    Now when I do this, it just changed ALL of the text to ONE font. If I type in Myriad Pro, a drop-down menu appears and automatically selects Myriad Pro Condensed.
    I hope that helps. I know I'm not crazy. This is what I have done forever. I use InDesign every day...and have for years. I rebooted my mac two days ago and this problem appeared. It seemed like some sort of awful update. haha. When I rebooted, I lost all of my preferences. InDesign went back to points and picas instead of inches. Smart guides appeared, I had to turn those off again. Stuff like that.
    Any thoughts?

    My wife changed her AppleID, and her Calendar events have disappeared from her iCloud account (even though the prompt said they'd be merged).
    Her contacts, notes and other iCloud info all seem to still be there. The problem persists across the entire iCloud platform (iOS, OSX, web).

    Well Sir, it depends. Sometimes it depends on what email those Calendar events are hooked to. So i would suggest you try checking if her Calendar is actually connected to the right platform by going to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars - Scroll down to the bottom under Calendars - Default Calendar - Tap on it to see if its connected to iCloud or a particular email address. You can fuddle with it to see where all her events are saved. Sometimes it might be that, those events were hooked to her email or something. I hope this helps, please keep me posted.

  • Pointer disappears when changing displays

    Often when I have been working on my PB at the office, then put it to sleep and take it home and plug it into my 20" display and wake it up, there is no mouse pointer visible on the screen. The windows I was working on will have transferred to the big display, and I can tell the mouse is working, because if I move the mouse all the way to the right where the dock is and move it up and down I can see the different dock icons highlight. Occasionally I can move the mouse by "dead reckoning" to a button I need to click to save a file but usually I cannot, and sometimes the results are disastrous, I end up having to force-reboot and lose a lot of work. The problem happens in the other direction also (PB operating closed w/ 20", unplug display, goes to sleep, pointer lost when waking up.) Today that happened and I decided not to use the PB at the office. When I brought it home and plugged it into the display the pointer came back.
    I have a hunch this happens more often when a Java-based app is running but I'm not sure.
    Any suggestions on how to avoid this? I should be able to do this without problems, right?

    As far as I remember, this was a bug in later versions of OS X 10.3. I used to suffer from it too until I upgraded to Tiger (10.4), which cleared it up. I don't think it has anything to do with Java, because I rarely use Java apps and It used to happen to me a lot.

  • How do I save changes I make in the developer tool

    I am just teaching myself to build a word press website. I find many times that the IE development tool makes it much easier for me to make changes to the site and experiment with different things. My problem is one I make changes I need I always loss the
    changes. Is their a way to save the changes I made so they stay permanent on the website I am building. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

    I afraid you cannot save these changes with the F12 developer tool. You could copy these changes to an external editor.
    Note  The Changes tab will clear if you close the F12 developer tools, but the changes you made with
    DOM Explorer persist until you refresh the webpage.
