  • Selection-screen design

    Hi everyone,
I am working on a project for which I have to design a selection-screen.
The requirement is such that there are 3 obligatory fields to be filled by the user, which are as follows:
    P_LAUFD(parameter,obligatory-date),
    P_LAUFI(parameter,obligatory-id),
    P_FILENM(parameter,obligatory-filename),
    P_LOKAAL(checkbox).
The requirement is such that when the user does not check the checkbox the search help for P_FILENM should show the files from the application server, and when it is checked the files from the presentation server should be shown.
The code that I have written is listed below, but there is  a problem with it.
When I don't enter  anything in the first 2 fields, the search field for the 3rd field functions as required, but if I first enter something in the first 2 fields and then click on the checkbox, the search help for P_FILENM does not function as reaquired.
    Please advise.
Also if possible could you'll  kindly   explain the sequence of events that is getting triggered?

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Harry

    Hello vijay,
I'am implementing a calendar with the alv grid control.
Since I do not want to process all the data at one time
I need to know when the scrollbar reach the upper or lower extremity so that I can populate + other processes the alv grid.

  • Calender display in ALV Grid

    Hi,
I need to call calender up on clicking the cell in my ALV Report. How can I do this ?
    Can you please help

    Hi,
For this you have to use the Object oriented ALV for which you can take the below approach as the guide line:
    1.Build Fieldcatalog:
        WA_FIELDCAT-COL_POS   = L_LIN.
WA_FIELDCAT-FIELDNAME = <fieldname on which you want to provide F4>
        WA_FIELDCAT-DATATYPE  = 'DATS'.
        WA_FIELDCAT-F4AVAILABL = 'X'.
        WA_FIELDCAT-EDIT       = 'X'.
        APPEND WA_FIELDCAT TO I_FIELDCAT.
    2.Dispalying ALV:
Once an instance is created for Grid Define F4 Help:
FORM DEFINE_ALV_F4  CHANGING P_G_ALV_GRID TYPE REF TO CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
               DATA:
           Line of  F4 table
                     L_S_F4 TYPE LVC_S_F4,
           Table for F4 relevant fields
                      L_T_F4 TYPE LVC_T_F4.
             F4 on <Field>
      L_S_F4-FIELDNAME  =  <Field>
      L_S_F4-REGISTER   = 'X.'
      L_S_F4-GETBEFORE  = SPACE.
      L_S_F4-CHNGEAFTER = SPACE.
      APPEND L_S_F4 TO L_T_F4.
      CLEAR L_S_F4.
can appende to L_T_F4 for more fields on which you want to provide such help.
      CALL METHOD P_G_ALV_GRID->REGISTER_F4_FOR_FIELDS
        EXPORTING
          IT_F4 = L_T_F4[].
    3. In the Definition of CLASS lcl_event_receiver DEFINITION.
    define method
    handle_onf4        FOR EVENT onf4
                             OF cl_gui_alv_grid
                             IMPORTING e_fieldname
                                       e_fieldvalue
                                       es_row_no
                                       er_event_data,
    and in Implementation:
    METHOD HANDLE_ONF4.
for the <field you want to provide F4
        CALL FUNCTION 'F4_DATE'.

  • How to get calender in f4 help for select options in module pool (URGENT)

    Hi All,
how to get calender in f4 help for select options in module pool
    Please help .
    Thanx in advance,
    amruta

    Hi Amruta,
First of all, you can not create select-options directly in module pool.
For creating <b>select-option is dialog prog</b> follow these steps:
    1. create your selection screen model as subscreen by:
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 2000 AS SUBSCREEN.
    PARAMETRS: P_MATNR LIKE MARA-MATNR.
    SELECT-OPTIONS: S_BISMAT FOR MARA-BISMAT.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 2000.
    2. create a screen ( example 100 ) in your module-pool dedicated for selection-screen. on this screen layout sketch a sub-screen name like subscree_2000.
    3. write this bit of code in PBO and PAI of the screen 100;
    CALL SUBSCREEN SUBSCREEN_2000.
    4. include this code in PBO:
    INCLUDING SY-REPID '2000'
    6. write user_command of PAI, call screen which is going to executable after selection-screen.
    5. create a transcation for this dialog module pool with screen 100.
    6. execute this transaction and you can see it's behaving like cool with select-options.
After that in [bprocee on value-request]</b>, use F4_DATE for both from and to option field.
Hope it will solve the problem.
    Regards
    Krishnendu

  • SEARCH HELP FOR DATE

    Hi Gurus,
I have a screen containing fields from an internal table. As I cannot use the 'from dictionary' option in the screen painter attributes, (since internal table field is not in ABAP dictionary), I'm not able to display the search help for a field of type DATS. How can i access the stabdard date search help for my type DATS internal table screen fields?
    assistance will be rewarded.
    thanx in advance.

    Hi,
    Try this:
    On your customizing screen flow,
    PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
Field T_ZT-SDATE " your date field
    module create_dateselect.
    In your main program:
    module create_dateselect.
    data:p_date like sy-datum.
    CALL FUNCTION 'F4_DATE'
    EXPORTING
    holiday_calendar_id = 'CN'
    display = ' '
    IMPORTING
    select_date = p_date
    EXCEPTIONS
    OTHERS = 4.
    t_zt-sdate = p_date.
    endmodule.

  • Function module for calculating sigma balance

Is there  any function module available in SAP for calculating sigma balance.
    Thanks
    Gaurav

    hi
ABAP_DOCU_DOWNLOAD     Download ABAP documentation in HTML format.
APPL_LOG_DELETE     With this function module you delete logs in the database according to specified selection conditions
APPL_LOG_DISPLAY     With this function module you can analyze logs in the database.
APPL_LOG_DISPLAY_INTERN     With this function module you can analyze logs in local memory, e.g. when you have only collected log records at runtime and do not want to write to the database.
APPL_LOG_INIT     This function module checks whether the specified object or sub-object exists and deletes all existing associated data in local memory.
APPL_LOG_READ_DB     With this function module you read the log data in the database for an object or sub-object according to specified selection conditions.
APPL_LOG_READ_INTERN     With this function module you read all log data whose log class has at least the specified value, from local memory, for the specified object or sub-object.
APPL_LOG_SET_OBJECT     With this function module, you create a new object or sub-object for writing in local memory. With a flag you can control whether the APPL_LOG_WRITE_... messages are written in local memory or are output on the screen.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_DB     With this function module you write all data for the specified object or sub-object in local memory to the database. If the log for the object or sub-object in question is new, the log number is returned to the calling program.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_HEADER     With this function module, you write the log header data in local memory.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_LOG_PARAMETERS     With this function module, you write the name of the log parameters and the associated values for the specified object or sub-object in local memory. i have to develop a matchcode custom in a dynpro of a module pool, because i have some custom data fields in different format (YYMM) (DDMMYY) and i haven't declared the fields DATS but CHAR.
I wanto to call the function F4_DATE on matchcode input and transalte via ABAP the correct format.
How i set the match-code in a field of a dynpro? I tryed with "FIELD ZTBMODOMO-ZDTRICHIESTA MODULE DTRICHIESTA_0200 ON REQUEST." but it doesn't work for my proposal.
    thanks a lot.

  • Fm for previous date

    Hi,
Is any FM is there which can calculate the previous 1 year date or more.
Suppose I have today's date & based on that date I wanted to calculate the previous 1 year date.

    Hi,
<b>DATE_CHECK_PLAUSIBILITY</b>- Check to see if a date is in a valid format for SAP. Works well when validating dates being passed in from other systems.
<b>DATE_COMPUTE_DAY</b>- Returns a number indicating what day of the week the date falls on. Monday is returned as a 1, Tuesday as 2, etc.
<b>DATE_GET_WEEK</b> -will return the week that a date is in.
<b>DATE_IN_FUTURE</b>- Calculate a date N days in the future.
<b>DAY_ATTRIBUTES_GET</b> - Return useful information about a day. Will tell you the day of the week as a word (Tuesday), the day of the week (2 would be Tuedsay), whether the day is a holiday, and more.(provided by Francois Henrotte)
F4_DATE displays a calendar in a popup window and allows user to choose a date, or it can be displayed read only.
Pls find any FM useful to u.
    Pls reward helpful points.

  • Search help for calendar

    Hi,
is there in se11 search help which could be join to field at screen and it will show calenadar to help choosing data which will be put to this field?
Search help or sample of code which allows to show calendar as search help?
    regards,
    Joanna

    use function module
    <b>FU F4_DATE</b>
    Text
<b>Display factory calendar or Gregor. calendar and choose a day</b>
see also the parameter documentation (long texts).
    Parameters
    SELECT_DATE
If the parameter DISPLAY is initial, the date selected by the user is returned in SELECT_DATE.
If the user did not select a date, SELECT_DATE contains:
    - the value DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH, if it was passed as not-initial,
    otherwise
    - the value determined with PROGNAME_FOR_FIRST_MONTH if this
    parameter was used, otherwise
    - the initial value (SPACE).
It is thus possible for example to assign the corresponding screen field directly to both the (input) parameter DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH and the (output) parameter SELECT_DATE when the function module is called.
    SELECT_WEEK
    SELECT_WEEK_BEGIN
    SELECT_WEEK_END
    DISPLAY
DISPLAY = SPACE (default) -> A date can be selected.
    = X -> Only display, no selection.
    FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID
The parameters HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_ID, FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID and GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG define which calendar is displayed.
If GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG = 'X', the Gregorian calendar is always displayed, irrespective of FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID and HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_ID.
If no parameter is set, the factory or holiday calendar is used from local memory. These can be set (and reset) with the function module CALENDAR_FOR_F4_DATE.
    Remarks:
    (1) If GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG = 'X' was passed, the Gregorian calendar is always displayed, irrespective of FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID and HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_ID.
    (2) The Gregorian calendar is also displayed if no calendar was set explicitly or by calling CALENDAR_FOR_F4_DATE.
    (3) If both HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_ID and FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID were passed, the function module reacts with an exception.
    PROGNAME_FOR_FIRST_MONTH
If no DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH was passed, but a program name was passed with parameter PROGNAME_FOR_FIRST_MONTH, the function module determines the month to be displayed using the contents of the field to which the cursor is pointing.
    DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH
If a date is passed in DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH, the month containing this date is first displayed.
If parameter DATE_FOR_FIRST_MONTH is not passed or is initial, the first month displayed with PROGNAME_FOR_FIRST_MONTH (if passed) or the date is determined.
    GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG
    GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG = 'X'
-> Display the Gregorian calendar: Saturdays and Sundays are highlighted.
    GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG = SPACE (default)
-> Determine the factory calendar with the parameter FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID or from local memory.
    HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_ID
The parameters HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_ID, FACTORY_CALENDAR_ID and GREGORIAN_CALENDAR_FLAG define which calendar is displayed.
If no parameter is set, the factory or holiday calendar is used from local memory.
These can be set (or reset) with the function module CALENDAR_FOR_F4_DATE.
    Exceptions
    HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_NOT_FOUND
    PARAMETER_CONFLICT
    DATE_INVALID
    CALENDAR_BUFFER_NOT_LOADABLE
    DATE_AFTER_RANGE
    DATE_BEFORE_RANGE
