F4 help values shows ???

Hi All,
We upgraded the Java to SP19 Patch 10 couple of weeks back. We started working on BI 7.0 Web templates. We have two types of variaibles. One with the flat list (where we see the values in flat list fashion) and Hierarchy (Where we list the values in Hierarchy fashion). After upgradation, everything was working fine, but we had some issue with iView.
We contacted SAP regarding this and SAP suggest us to upgrade it to SP19 Patch 30. We upgraded that and now we ran into different issue, where all the F4 helps for which we have Flat list, the values are getting displayed as ??? (Both key and text).
I went through couple of threads where it has been suggested that I should install the dotnet framework from Microsoft. I am on Vista and I cant install this EXE because it says, you have latest version of .Net Framework. I also upgraded my GUI to the suggested version by many threads.
Still it doesnt solve my issue.
can anybody please help me in this regards?

Hi,
I'm ain't an expert in this, but surely this issue is due to unsupportive drivers. You may install a suitable XP emulator for this incase this issue with EXE is not resolved. You can find the tool on Virtualbox dot org. Or latest is Virtual PC from Microsoft -- [Click here|http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx]

Hierarchy node Variable: F4 Help - Not showing Master data values

Hi,
We're having some problems trying to display the F4 help of a hierarchy node selection variable, to show the master data values so that it would look more complete for the users during report execution.
In the RSD1 setting for the info object, under 'Business Explorer' tab, the 'Query Execution Filter Val. Selectn' is set to 'Only Posted Values for Navigation'.
I thot that we could overwrite this setting at the Query Designer level, but it does not seem to work.
Even tho in the Query Designer, we have already specified the 'Filter Value Selection During Query Execution' to 'Values in Master Data Table', it does not seem to display the master data values.
There is no difference in the F4 values being displayed for the hier node variable, before and after the change in Query Designer.
Could anyone share some tips on other possible solutions to get a hier node selection variable's F4 help to show the master data values, without changing the RSD1 setting at the info object level please ?

Could you please share the steps you have taken to fix the problem?
We do have a similar problem and for some reason the newly added hierarchy node for 0Profit_ctr is not showing up in the variable selection screen F4 (input selection for query execution). However we can see this node when we display that hierarchy in RSA1. I did try applying the changes recommened by Jerome but unfortunately it didn't work.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

COGS Value showing as null for Projects

We have a report called Revenue Report. In this report we track the revenue and cogs value for both OM orders and Projects. We are able to see th cogs value for OM order(i.e. sales order)but not for projects. We are using OOTB out of box mapping(i.e.SDE_ORA_GLCOGS) for populating cogs value.So we have approached oracle team to address this issue. Please find the below reply from Oracle. Can somebody help me how to calculate COGS value for projects.
BIApps 7.9.6.x do not support the integration of Project and COGS out of the box. If you have cogs trx from Projects and would like to extract these trx, you can customize the SDE sql.

These are OOTB default values to extract the cogs trx for sales order etc. These are configurable. You can add/modify these values as needed. You can check the OLTP MTL module for the meaning of each values

In our BO Webi report hierarchy with measure values showing more(almost double value) compare to BW Bex report. Can any one please help on this.
Is it BW problem or BO problem?

BEx Input Help Values Restricted

Dear Gurus,
    In our project, we navigate the attribute "0SALESORG" of "0PLANT" and use it on the report. In Sales Transactions, there is another 0SALESORG in our multiprovider. The problem occurs when I set 0SALESORG and 0PLANT as BEx variable input. When I select one sales org, the input help values of plant are restricted corresponding to the sales org. Below are the steps.
   1) If I input Sales Org = 7081, the possible values of plants are restrcted to "NU01" which is under sales org 7081 only.
    2) If I do not input any Sales Org, all the possible values of plants are displayed (such as LK11, LJ11,etc).
      If I input only Plant = LJ11, LK11, there are transactions with Sales Org 7081 and Plant = LJ11, LK11 in the infocube as below picture.
What I want is I want to input Sales Org 7081 and then further input plant LJ11, LK11. (However, when I input Sales Org 7081, only the plant NU01 is available on the Search Help screen.)

In our business scenario, 1 sales org can pick and sell materials from plants of other sales organization. As in the last screen, sales org 7081 can sell material from plants LJ11 (under sales org 6451) and plant LK11 (under sales org 6461).
However, with the restriction, I can't input the sales org 7081 and then input plant LJ11 or LK11. It just shows plant NU01 (under sales org 7081)
By the way, the variables I currently used are on 0SALESORG (not Attibute) and 0PLANT already

Incorrect cost/revenue value show in cProjects

Hi all,
I'm working with cProjects and PS.
The problem is: costing value showed in cProjects is incorrect(its 10 times bigger than that value in PS), however the value showed in PS is correct.
For example:
1 engineer has cost/revenue rate : 10usd/15usd /Hour
He work 10hours for a Task
in PS (ECP, CJ40,..)we will see the cost/revenue is: 100usd/150usd
however in cProjects (Tab: Accounting) we will see the cost/revenue is: 1000/1500
Please help me to solve that problem, it's very urgent.

It sounds like a curreny problem with the decimal place, would you please check the customizing item :
SAP NetWeaver -> General Settings -> Currencies -> Set Decimal Places for Currencies
Please check in BOTH systems (cProject & ERP), if there is any difference for the USD?

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).
If that's not what you mean by "changed the email address on my account," please post back with more details.

Net value showing negative in excise billing for free goods items

Need value suggestions in business scenario.
While issuing Free goods to customer in excise billing ,Net value of ZTNN item showing negative
Inserted R100 % condition type above Tax condtions.
MRP is statistical and accessable value is calculated on MRP.
How to solve the above issue.
Due to the Net value showing negative for Free of charge in excise billing,qty value displaying twice the unit price value in printing

It is depends on your pricing procedure how you defines.
Kindly check once again in your pricing procedure.
Test the cycle once again without entering the R100 condition type in sale order line item and check the next value.
After enter the R100 condition type check the base value to calculate the Amount.

Main Item net value showing as zero by condition type R100.

I am configured free goods, maintained condition record for exclusive free goods.
but in sales order free goods item is not populating and when i see the analysis the requirement 55 not met.
I removed the requirement 55 and i saved it.
Still in the sales order the free goods exclusive item not populating.
and i find that main Item net value showing as zero by condition type R100.
Why system showing the main item amount as zero by condition type R100?

you have to maintain R100 requirement -55 it should be there
also Alternative Condition Base value - 28(100% discount)
check your main pricing procedure having conditon type R100 or not if it is not there then maintain
conditon record in VBN1 for NA00 check all the setting(calculation rule)
activate free goods pricing correctly(NA0001)
save it now try

Transferring Search Help values from ECC 6.0 to SRM 7.0

Hi SAP experts,
I have a requirement to display the search help values for a data element in ECC 6.0 into the custom data element that I created on SRM 7.0.
Is there a BAPI that I can use to retrieve the values for a search help element (for example SH_ANLKA) from the the ECC into SRM?

As per my current context of the project I have to develop a HTML page with Help of CSS and all other things. After that I have to Show the HTML file through Swing. I know how to attach a file with help of URL but need some help to show a HTML file in Swing.

As camickr said Javascript support is not available. If you want to support you have to write code for that. Up to an extent CSS support is provided.

Popup Menu(F1- Help values) is not diaplying for a char at selection screen

Hi,
After executed the query, we are trying to get help (F4) values for info object Employee Group (EMPLGROUP) in the selection screen but it is taking long time nearly 1 hr and getting timed out. And for other Chars we are getting the help popup menu.
for your info...
There are only 6 values are there in Employee Group master data table.
And the characteristic settings in Business Explorer tab are as the following,
Display u2013 Text
Text type u2013 Default
BEx description u2013 Short description
Selection u2013 No selection Restriction
Query Def. Filter Value Selection u2013 Only values in Infoprovider
Query Execution Filter Val. Selection u2013 Only Posted Values for Navigation
Can any one please suggest us which settings we needs to change to get the popup menu (help values) for Employee Group at selection screen and what is the reason for not displaying the help popup menu?.

I am getting the data aslo for Employee Group in the query when I drill down that char.
But I dont know why it is taking long time and getting time out to display the popup menu for help values at selection screen.

and there are 3 opstions for the above seeting as below,
1. Only values in master data
2. Only values in Infoprovider
3. Only Posted Values for Navigation

Dear Friends,
Is it possible to export Search Help values to Internal table?
On screen, when user click on Search button, the SAP standard search help will call (Customer Search). After entering values, some result get displayed and this result need to export to the internal table.

SAP Net book value showing NIL

Hi SAP Gurus,
We have acquired the asset on oct 23.2010 the value of the asset is 189542.45 there is no depriciation charged for this asset for till date.Here the problem for this asset is IN AW01N-ASSET EXPLORER the net book value showing NIL but accoridng to the asset register calss the asset NBV-10558.00 WHY the asset is showing the NIL Balance in the Asset explorer
IN AWO1N there is a tab change there it shows the value 189542.25- that is acquisition value of the asset bacame negitive here what would be the reason and why the NBV showing NIL in ASSET EXPLOREE and there is no depriciation cahrged for this year
In which report i can find the 189542.25- please give me your valuble suggestions on this
