Face problem with Lion download, deduct from my account 29$ but their a error accured
Dear Apple Team,
I date of 8th of June 2012, I did a purchasing action for the Lion 10.7 and its go to my purchased list in app store. But the downloading its froz not moving and downloading at all. Today when am chicking my account for apple I found that its diduct the amount of 29.99$ but with massege error accured in download.
So, please return the amount to my account as soon as possible cause of diffucalty that I face it with this update OSX.

No one from here is from Apple so we can't offer a refund. Have you tried opening the App Store application and redownloading the upgrade? If you've already paid for it, you should be able to actually download it again (or at least try).

Select a .zip file in the Finder and Get Info (cmd-i). What is set for it to Open With. It should be Archive Utility. -

Problems with the downloaded programs from sites on Internet
Hi,
I just recently got interested in downloading a program from the site myspace.com, but I have been interested in other programs earlier in my time as a MacBook user. Unfortunately, I have not discovered how to open them properly. What is the best way to get an understanding of how to open these non-universal programs, such as Instant messenger from myspace.com?
I would like to know if I need to find the rosetta application somehow on my applications window, because I already know now, that the rosetta application won't work yet on the instant messenger that I tried to install to my computer.
If anyone has a clue about how to get my application "Install Messenger.exe to open with rosetta, like I have read about yet don't know how to get running yet, please would you be kind to send a thread to mine on apple discussions?!
This is really confusing, and I need to be able to do the instant messenger on Myspace so that I can become good friends with my new friends on myspace!Any applications that ends in .exe is a Windows application and cannot run natively on a Mac. The only way to run those applications would be to install Windows, either via BootCamp or one of the third-party systems such as Parallels Desktop. For any of those, you'd need to purchase a copy of Windows.

I had been having a similar problem on Lion with Safari pdf files despite downloading the latest Adobe Reader XI.
I would constantly get the same messages - There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired. And I would get a blank page when I tried to print the pdf if I tried printing from the Safari web page using File - Print from the top toolbar on my laptop.
Then I came across the grey Safari lozenge with action icons.
This allowed me, without downloading the pdf, to print the pdf file direct from the Safari page by using the Print icon on the grey lozenge that appears centrally three quarters down the screen.
Then I discovered that if I save the pdf using the Save icon from this same grey lozenge on the Safari page I can open and print this pdf version from my desktop.
I've tested it with a couple of different pdf files and these methods work using the grey lozenge icons but the same pdfs files don't work using File - Save As on the Tool Bar. -
If I change the nation setting of my iTunes in order to buy a song from the American iTunes store, then change my setting back to the Korean store (where you cannot buy music) will that create any problems with my downloaded content? I want to buy an album that I cannot get hold of in Korea, but it is available in the US iTunes store. However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. I'd rather find out before I spend money, change my store setting back to Korea, and then get told I can't listen to the music because I bought it from the US store and my iTunes is set to the Korean store.
Cheers.You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

If you want to sync it to the iPad from that Mac, you need to upgrade it to at least 10.5.8.
If you want to copy the music to another Mac, you don't. Move the iTunes folder of the item in the Finder's sidebar over as you would any other folder. If you put it somewhere other than the Music folder, launch iTunes with the Option key held down and point it to that location.

Guys i am having a mad day with this new OS and some network printer none of them work with new LION,The software for this printer is currently unavaliable. Please contact the printers manufacturer for the latest software, i need the drivers for this, please give a hand with this issue
Best RegardsExactly the same infuriating problem we and many others get with OS X from 10.6 on when Apple dropped Apple Talk.
Having spent days fighting to get drivers that will run our older laser printers like HP5000, 5100, 2100, 2200 and 4MV, we came up with a simple solution:
We use an iMac running 10.5.8 as a print server. All the 10.6 upwards Macs on the same network will see and add the printers immediately through the shared older (Apple Talk) iMac.
Cheapest and simplest option really .... it'sannoying that a brand new Mac can no longer see existing network printers without complex investigation and trying various downloads.
Answer is simple and cheap if you happen to own a 4 or 5 year old Mac with an OS lower than 10.6 which still has Apple Talk. -
Itunes Artwork Problems with Lion
I've noticed some problems lately with Lion and artwork from Mp3 files no longer being seen in the Finder. Im a new Mac user (only a few weeks) and had lots of issues with itunes from the data transfer but finally was able to get everything working (after 8 hours in the retail store)
Anyway when Lion was installed, there were some hiccups apparently in the 10.4 itunes download.
Now, since it has downloaded there seems to be a new problem with certain files' artwork no longer being recognized in the Finder. (I'm not even sure if that matters - the artwork is showing up in itunes and ipod but not in the finder). This is especially affecting new downloaded tracks (not from itunes)..I can add artwork but it will not appear in the Finder...and it also is affecting some older files and folders that did not have any problems. For certain artists with multiple albums, the artwork keeps disappearing...if you are able to add it for one album, it disappears for the second album...if you fix it for the second album, it disappears again for the first. So just wondering if anybody else is having these issues...or has any ideas to fix it. Id really like to have the artwork in the finder; it just makes me feel more comfortable after all the problems I've had. And so far everytime someone at Applecare or Retail Store tells me to do stuff on my computer, it has just screwed things up even more.I'm having the same issues
At first I thought it was the 3rd party app 'Media Rage' not being compatible with Lion. But this is not the case.
I know this because, I edited the artwork in iTunes; the artwork shows fine. But, when I take that same iTunes file and drag it to my desktop; nothing. Artwork disappears. I've taken the same file, (now on my desktop), move it into Media Rage, and the window shows that the image file is embedded in the .mp3.
Then, I take the file and move it into iTunes, (now 2 copies of the same song), and the artwork shows again.
So, there's definately something wrong in Finder.
Also, this only happens with new .mp3's recently downloaded, (post Lion upgrade). All my media files pre-Lion, show the artwork in finder ...... 10's of thousands of files are fine. The only problems are with those post-Lion.
Lastly, to be sure that there wasn't some Media Rage/Lion compatibility issue, I uninstalled media rage, and edited some 'new' .mp3's soley using iTunes. They are fine while viewed in iTunes. But in finder; nothing.
I can't imagine Apple overlooking something like this .... after finishing with checking the core processes of the OS, it seems as though the very next items to check and verify would be media, (both audio and video).

Problem with Application-download to FP2000-controller

i have a problem with the download to the fieldpoint module.
My software configuartion:
- LV 7.1
- LV DSC 7.1
- LV RealTime 7.1
- FieldPoint 4.1 & LVRT for FP-20xx
at the beginnings the system works fine. but after an operating system reinstall from win2k to winxp it would not work.
the error message which i get called: "download failed VI_IsInitialized.vi"
and in an other window: Shared library vistopped cannot started at the RT-device
