Face swap in FCP

Is it possible to do a head/ face swap (face replacement) in a video by using Final Cut Pro? Is it also possible in iMovie? Can someone tell me how to do it? I am going to make a funny video for my friends in my birth day party and need help... :-)

Copy the replacement face to the clipboard then past it into the the image the has the face you want to replace. Use free transform to move and size the face into place. Then mask the face layer to blend in the face. You cam also use blending mode and adjustments to match the color and lighting better.

IM trying to do face swaps but when the two people have different skin tones it doesn't look right. How can I transfer a face and make it the same skin color. I'm using Adobe Elements 11 on windows.

This issue comes up not infrequently and requires a bit of work so that it doesn't look fake. Your picture is made of two parts: Luminosity and color. The luminosity is by far the most important.. Try this:
Open the picture file after the faces have been swapped
Duplicate the background layer. Convert this background copy layer to black/white (e.g. via the Enhance menu)
On the background copy layer select the face that needs correction with one of the selection tools
Place the selected face on its own layer (CTRL+J)
The next step is to match the face layer with the b/w layer below. To do that, group a Brightness/contrast adjustment layer to the face layer, and play with the brightness and contrast sliders
Now, keep the face layer, and you can delete the desaturated (Background copy) layer
Open a blank layer at the top of the stack, and change the blending mode to color. Sample the skin color of the person whose skin color you are trying to match, then paint over the face which is on the layer from step #4
You may have to fine-tune by sampling color from other areas, or opening another brightness/contrast adjustment layer to fine-tune the luminosity

Cropping face from one picture into face of another picture

I have a picture of a friend and I want to put her face onto another picture of a body builder.
I am new to photoshop and can not figure out how to do this!! Could someone please send me step by step instructions?

Extremely Long Render Times!! Please help!!

Let me start off by saying I am new to premier, forums, and video editing for the most part.
My content comes from (2) GoPro Hero 4 cameras set at 4k and a Sony FDR-AX100, also set at 4k.
MY PROBLEM (well hopefully the one you can help me with)
I import the content into Premier Pro CC 2014 (which is all up to date) applying color correction, fades, and titles. When I try to playback the files even with all effects turned off my computer will not do it. I need to first render preview files. So I select my in and out points and try to render but it takes, DAYS to complete. For example: A 3 minute selection on the timeline will take 70 hours to render the preview files. After it renders, I make a few more adjustments and let my computer render for a few more days.
I must be doing something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
MY SETUP:
I use the Nvidia CUDA architecture as my playback engine in Premier.
Premier is installed on my internal drive. The footage & project files are kept on a WD VelociRaptor Thunderbolt Drive and my preview files are set to a second WD VelociRaptor Thunderbolt Drive.
My preferences are set to use up to 12 gigs of ram for Premier, leaving the other 20 for other applications. It is optimized for Memory. I have tried most all combinations of ram setting here with little luck. (again, I'm new and don't know what I'm doing.)
My Premier sequence is set to be 1080p & my sequence settings are set to a width & height of 960 x 540 with the program monitor set at 1/4 quality.
All the above and I can't even play a file. I have nothing else open or running and have stopped everything that would normally run in the background at startup (like the iTunes helper).
Anywho. Thanks for taking the time to read all the above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A quick update for anyone stumbling on this later...
As it turns out, I am not utilizing the full amount of RAM available to me. In fact, I am unable to. As it was explained to me, my workflow is bottlenecked by my processor and because I have an iMac, well, I'm stuck with what I have until I can afford to replace the machine.
I have 32 gigs of RAM, and with my processor at 90% use, only 9 to 10 gigs of RAM are utilized.
I'd rather buy a new machine (custom PC) rather than swap to FCP. So the saving begins...
However, I am not up the creek yet. It was recomended I drop the quality/file size by using Media Encoder and converting all my footage to Apple ProRes files, replace clips, and finish what I started.
I began converting last night.
I guess we can chalk this up to Beginners Luck?

Can I Auto Blend layers in Photoshop Elements?

I have seen face-swapping tutorials online using the "auto-blend layers" tool In Photoshop CS6. Is there a way to do the same thing in elements?

99jon is right.
However, that is assuming you already know the dimensions (99jon rightly describes setting the dimensions in advance) of the logo in advance, and you're going to use the logo you need for one specific use only. A logo you make in Photoshop Elements may not always remain clear and legible when you scale it up or down. I say that because logos will, generally, find their way into lots of places - letterheads, banners, T-shirt emblems, and other places. You might need different sizes for different needs.
You might want to use a vector graphics tool like Illustrator for logo design.
Phew! Okay - temporary fix - PSE 11 will work great! Permanent fix - for multiple designs and dimensions - you might need a different tool.

Editor preferences>general>allow floating documents in expert mode, then window>images>cascade or tile. You may need to choose float all in windows the first time before you can make either of those work.

I did some face swap, now I would like to use the Auto layer blend option, but it's not highlighted under the selection. What can i do to use this option. Like the colors to match. Any advice is desperately needed asap pls !!!!

Auto-Blend Layers is a function that is used to either seamlessly assemble a panoramic from several related images, or to selectively choose areas within a stacked and aligned set of identical files that differ only in point of focus so that the final result is an image with greater depth sharpness than any one image alone. It is not designed for the result you have in mind.
Regarding your project, although there is a command that, under certain circumstances, may offer success (Image>Adjustments>Match Color), you would be better served by learning to work with Curves or Levels in order to color balance the replacement face with the image in which it is to be inserted.

I need some help on an animation I'm doing.

I am new to animation and this is my second animation so I wanted to do something simple. I decided on doing an animated face swap of some friends, and have an issue I don't know how to resolve. I'm putting one face on everybody else's faces, but the original face is smaller and at a different angle than the others.
I have this so far
My problem is that every time I try to resize the face on one frame, it'll resize the face on ALL the frames. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Never mind, I found a workaround. I duplicate the layer, and then select as visible only past a certain frame. If anybody has another solution let me know still.

I did the face-swap but it didn't turn out well. The hair color looks weird. It's light brown anddark brown. Also, the face color are dfferent. I want somebody to help me fix it. I want it to look real. I will send the photo the message. It's for my friend's birthday. Please help. Thanks.

Strange Export problem

Hi there,
I'm in the middle of editing a videoclip for a friend of mine.
During filming there was a annoying photographer who kept using his flashlight.
In a closeup of my friend you can see the flash in her face, so in fcp I just cut out the flashlights.
In the timeline I used razorblade to make a cut where the flashlight was made. cut out the frames where I could see the flash then put the clips back together.
Playing back in FCP I did not see the flashlight anymore. And because you just miss a couple of frames you don't notice they are gone. Beautiful!
But.....
Exporting my project using Quicktime conversion I play back the clip and low and behold....there was the flashlight again!!!!
It drives me nutes!
What is happening here and what can I do about it?

Sorry for the much too late reaction!
I found out it had to do with interlacing and the way FCP shows your material in the viewer. What I also should have mentioned is that I only have 2 cinema displays and no reference monitor. That is because I am not using dramatic colloring.
Anyway, by default I believe FCP only shows half a frame (1 field) to speed things up. And when I viewed the compressed movie I saw the two fields again.
I solved the problem with making my material progressive and then cut the flashes out. And also setting my RT playback to full frame rate.
So there you have it!

Help with swapping faces CS6

I have been following tutorials on how to swap faces on a body in CS6. All goes well until the same place each time I try. When I select the new face and try to autoblend over the old All that happens is as screen captured below.
As you see it does not blend and empty background just gets bigger/ or the copied face gets smaller.
I can not work out what I am doing wrong. I hoped that somebody else might have come up against the same problem and have a suggestion for me.
