i can't log in facebook and browsing videos by youtube using the WLAN connection.
facebook just keep waiting to log in and after all it fails to log in
and youtube just appear a screen with connecting and nothing happens
plz anyone help!
web browsing is working good but i cant open some pages like facebook ,youtube , twitter by the web browser !!!!

Go to ovi store if it's open & download the facebook apps its free you won't be needing the browser for that.
Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted!

When I am in Facebook my iPad automatically changes to youtube and brings up a random youtube clip. I close youtube and reopen facebook and sometimes it goes straight back to youtube again. Any clues out there?

If you are using Safari as opposed to one of the Facebook apps then you could try its Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How do I reconnect the Facebook and YouTube apps to my internet, which is working fine, on my iPad air. The apps work fine on my 5c, but only recently started having network and connection issues.

Facebook and Youtube Video Setting Compression and Tools?

Hi Folks,
I'd like to start putting our Live band videos up on Facebook and YouTube, and I was wondering what the latest trends are in that direction.
I have the freebies MPEG Streamclip, ffmpegX, as well as some of the the older Macintosh products Final Cut Express HD 3.0, and iMovie 6.0.3, and also the Latest QuickTime Pro 7.6.4..
I know that there is a lot of information out there as well as misinformation, (or old information) and I was just wondering what the best ways to get the best compression setting, the best sounding audio and looking video up to these sites.

in case, your source is HDef, I prefer a 1280x720/30fps/h264/max. 6MBit/sec conversion.. (=you can set FC/e or iMovie in the Export with Quicktime/Options) YT cares for approbiate download (=smaller for older computers) ..

How do you disable Parental Controls without admin password? When I go on Safari, this window pops ALL THE TIME saying you need to add some certain websites. I really want to get on Facebook and YouTube. I don't even remember the password.

If I understand correctly, Sonic Kaboom.swf needs to be edited in a separate Flash authoring program and then reinserted into your HTML document.
As Murray said, Flash is dead. Nobody uses it anymore. We use HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript animations which have universal support from Smartphones, Tablets and other web devices that can't support Flash. Look at Edge Animate.

Facebook and YouTube not opening on Mountain Lion?

I have MacBook Pro 13inch (Mid-2012 ) and i recently upgraded it to Mountain Lion form lion . every thing is fine but when i try to open Facebook the log-in page opens but after i enter my details the page does not open and same with youtube i am able to watch videos as long as i dont sign in as soon i sign in the video stops playing . i have tried every thing i used safari , chrome , firefox but the same result . some times pages dont open and a message comes saying " no data received ". i did a clean install but it didn't work . i really need some help on this topic . and another problem i am not able to sign in to face time from my mac . if any one is facing similar problems please let me know .

Firefox based browsers crash randomly, more often with Facebook and Youtube

Ok, this problem is driving me nuts.
Firefox appears to crash at semi-random times while browsing.
It seems to happen more frequently when accessing Facebook or Youtube. Most of the time it will crash as soon as I put log in details into Facebook, as soon as my page starts to load it will crash. With Youtube, it will crash as Youtube's homepage is loading.
But then sometimes I can use facebook or youtube happily for upwards of 10 minutes before a crash, furthermore, it crashes on other 'simple' websites that don't have any embedded videos, Java or Flash based stuff.
I've tried several different versions of Firefox (as well as Waterfox and Cometbird), tried running in safemode, have reinstalled multiple times, have updated Java, running latest C++ Redist., latest Flash player, Windows fully up to date, same for my graphics drivers, even flipping Silverlight. FWIW this is also a fresh install of Windows. As in, only a day or two old with nothing funky installed on it, just a few games, AV, iTunes etc.
System is otherwise stable. No overclocking, temps are fine.
Opera and Internet Explorer both work smooth as butter, but I don't want Opera or IE. I want my Firefox back!

just got the notification about FF 3.6.8 installed it, reinstalled flash just for paranoia's sake
problem still occurring. please help.

Acer crystal Eye webcam not working with websites like facebook and youtube.

my webcam works just not with websites like facebook or youtube. it used to work before the latest version of adobe flash player came out. Can anyone help me with this?

fixed it. i forgot i had cyberlink youcam installed. so i uninstalled it and it works fine with faceebook and youtube now.

Safari 8 and Youtube problems

Hello there. I'm a new Mac user (iMac 21,5" 2,7 GHz quad-core with Yosemite) and I just noticed this problem with Safari and Youtube videos. Sometimes, not always, HTML5 videos stutter at the very beginning (less than 1 second from the start), and the buffer bar comes back to zero, causing a little pause. After this, the video runs smoothly without any other stuttering. It doesn't happen on Chrome or Firefox. I tried to clear the cache, uninstall Flash (flash videos are not affected...), but nothing changed. It isn't a connection problem, cause, as I said, everything runs fine on other browsers. Any idea? Thanks a lot!

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press the "Delete All" button.
2. Safari > Preferences > Privacy
Press the button “ Remove All Website Data”.

Ipad 2 and youtube problem?

Usually when you write something in youtube search box it gives u suggestions n u dont need to write the complete word or sentence..but this dont happen in youtube when i am using it on safari...i have to write the complete sentence...and this problem is not new...but if u use youtube on google chrome's app it works perfectly...but i usually use safari...and there is another problem..youtube buffers slowly on ipad even though my Wi-Fi signal is strong...tried everything reseting network settings, restarting ipad but no difference...any solution? :)

That doesn't happen when I use youTube thru Safari or the youTube app.. Typing into the search field provides suggestions.

WiFi signal strength has nothing to do with Internet access speed. Slow buffering is usually caused by a slow Internet connection speed or Internet congestion or, sometimes, router problems. Measure your Internet speed using the SpeedTest App.

Facebook and iPhoto problems

Hello and have a new year full of joy and happiness!!!!! I have problems using iPhoto from facebbok. When i am in facebook and especially in my page and i try to upload a photo, Finder opens and i choose iPhoto library. After that i click "open" and....... what?????/ At the place of the supposed uploaded photo appears a word "Error". It happens enery time i try to upload a photo that way. Please help.

You started to delete the Library on your Internal disk, right? This may well have something to do with the problems having - very likely there are bits gone...
If you copied the Library to the external, use that one.

Firefox cannot load twitter, facebook and youtube

so in my firefox there's no browser history. when i try to clear the cookies and cache, i can't. and everytime i try to load my facebook, my twitter and youtube, it always says "the connection has timed out. twitter.com is taking too long respond." and i check my internet, it's fine. so please help me

Check to be sure your anti-virus is allowing. But the fact that you can't clear cookies makes me think Malware maybe involved. I would run an Malware scan to be sure.

Problems with facebook and YouTube

Okay, so I upgraded my MacBook pro (early 2011) to mountain lion, and everything worked fine, it was also faster than lion. The problem is that yesterday I had troubles with facebook, the tab where I was got blocked and since that moment I can't log in to facebook, YouTube and other sites in any browser, I've tried all of them. It happened while I was usin chrome but safari, Firefox, opera, they don't work unless I set the private browsing. I don't know what to do, please help me.

I had ths problem to and found out how to fix this here are some steps to fix it.Type on your keyboard ctrl+shift+delete (hold control shift and delete at the same time) after you press these keys a pop-up will come up saying "Clear All histroy" at the top where it says "time range to clear" select Everything after that underneath Details at the bottom check all the boxes off the list then click "Clear Now" (I attached a picture to show what it should look like you can see the picture at the bottom of this post)the the problems should be cleared with youtube and facebook
***By the way firefox doesn't force you to update you don't have to update firefox if you don't want to***
