Facebook App Details Page cost

Is there a cost to creating only a facebook app details page?
I have the app available in the iTunes App store.

I ran into this recently on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6.0.1 and the problem was still there after 6.1 update.
Inexplicably some app details / reviews would display fine, but the majority of the apps I clicked on in the app store had blank detail / review pages. Very odd.
In any case, I got it working by clicking the app to view it, clicking the share button, then copying the link, pasting the link into safari and opening the app store page from there. For some reason that allowed me to see the app details again.
After 3 or 4 times of doing this for blank app detail pages, the app store started displaying details normally again on its own for all the apps, without using the safari copy/paste method.
I'm *guessing* something was stuck in some cache somewhere causing a problem that eventually got cleared out.. but I don't really know. All I know is this worked for me! Good Luck!

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.

Just got the iPad mini. Why can't I view my Facebook profile? (I'm using the Facebook app) I can open my News Feed but when I go to my page, it comes out with a notice "page doesn't exist, or you don't have permission to view this page" HELP!

It's frustrating to not be able to view my own Facebook page using the iPad mini. I have the iPad 1 and the Facebook app works fine there, I can see my personal FB page with 1. Is this characteristic of the iPad mini only?

Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If none of those work, delete the app and install it again.

The Facebook app won't let me sign on with my account. I can sign on to another account just fine. Will not let me sign on through Safari or Google either. When I put in email and password it goes right back to the log in page. Help?

On my iPhone 4, the Facebook app won't let me sign on with my account. I can sign on to another account just fine. The first time I sign on with the FB app it goes to the news feed page, says loading, and then flipps between loading and connection error. If I close out of that and try to sign in again it locks up on the logging in page. From Safari or google it goes to the log in page, after entering my email and password it goes right back to the log in page. I have tried resetting my phone, deleting and re-installing the app and everything else I can think of. Since I can log onto another account on my phone it can't be the app, any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I click to open the Facebook app and it opens to the initial blue Facebook page, but then it just closes again. It does this every time I try to open it an I've tried turning off then restarting my iPod.

Additionally, the settings app fails whenever I try to view usage information, and the voicemail no longer functions as before. It now prompts for a password because it is dialing out to Verizon which it never did before. Any feedback on these issues will be appreciated as well.

I also have problems with Facebook on my iPad 2. I don't do a lot with Facebook and generally only post on my feed page. Sometimes hitting return on the keyboard enters the comment, sometimes not. Sometimes the comment will show on my iPad but if I revisit that page I find that the comment has disappeared. So I'd say that Facebook and my iPad are not totally compatible with each other.
I looked into Friendly and was about to purchase this free ap. But before I did I went to the Friendly web page for more info. There I found a page with users comments. One after another users complained about bugs with Friendly. The developers claimed a fix was coming but the user comments complained about the lack of response and support. One of the fixes suggested by the developers was to log out of Friendly then log back in. One user complained that doing this three times in ten minutes was not very helpful. Because of this I decided to avoid Friendly.
I did find a Facebook developed ap but it was for the iPhone. I presume that iPhone aps will work on the iPad but I'll wait until Facebook releases an iPad compatible ap. If there is an ap developed by Facebook for the iPad that I missed please let me know.

I can't scroll down the profile page on Facebook app, resetting the phone by pressing down the home and sleep buttons for 15 seconds to reset the phone didn't work, deleting and re-installing the app didn't solve it either, is there any solution to the problem? Thanks!

Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
Restart your iPhone.
Hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the red slider then swipe to power off. Then hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the Apple logo.
I realize you are using the FB app but try deleting cookies.
Tap Settings / Safari.
Clear Cookies
Try again.

Where Do I Find The Original Facebook App For The ...

after updating my firmware i decided to do a fresh install of all my apps rather than use the backup. but i cannot find the original facebook app that was located in the download folder. i know i can download the short cut from the facebook wap site but that produces a silly little icon and i keeps prompting me to log in every time i open the link, the old app used to remember my login details. i have searched the ovi store and it only seems to have the n97 version?
Does anyone know if this app is hosted elsewhere?

Now type in the Facebook mobile address http://m.facebook.com. Press Go To.
You are now asked to select an access point. Select the internet access point you intend to use - if it's your mobile connection, highlight the appropriate network connection, or if you are using Wi-Fi, select the WLAN you wish to access or search for a new access point. Press Select.

I just downloaded the Facebook app onto my iPod, but it won't log me in.

I just inherited an iPod 4 from my sister. She removed all her settings (and apparently most of her apps, only a MoonPig remained) and her accounts and stuff. She used to have the Facebook app, and it worked fine for her. I redownloaded it, and when I typed in my password, it, as per my user settings, told me to expect an SMS with a security code. I did indeed get that text, and I put it in. It spends aaaaages loading, and then either just keeps loading or goes briefly past the log in page, but after just showing the 'menu bar' of the app (basically the blue thing with the buttons on the top, which allows you tu update the status) very briefly, before any content is shown, it just goes right back to the log in page. I've synced my iPod to iTunes on my laptop, and set up my Apple account (obvs, or I wouldn't have been able to get any apps). Can someone please tell me why it won't let me in? It apparently accepts me logging in fine, because I got an email telling me that a security passcode has been entered and someone has logged into my Fb using an iPod (i.e. me). But it won't let me actually use the app. I've redownloaded many times, restarted my iPod, still doesn't work. Quick help would be much appreciated.
P.s. I also downloaded the seperate Facebook Messenger, and that works fine.

What do you mean by "is not working"? The more details you give, the better the answers you'll get.
Resetting your device by pressing and holding the power and Home buttons until the silver apple appears will not delete any data.

It could just be that your phone is having issues connecting to the Facebook server at the moment because of a communication error. You can try resending your service books to see if that might help, otherwise I'd try to wait another few hours. To resend your service books, go to Setup > Email Settings, press the BB Menu button and select Service Books. From here, you should be able to resend your service books.
If resending the service books doesn't help and if it still doesn't work in a few hours, come back and let us know as there are some more drastic steps we can try to get you back up and running.

Is this a possible bug on the Facebook app for iPhone?

I tend to suffer from slight paranoia regarding security online and on my phone. I'll try to explain the worry I'm having as best I can.
Basically, I had a personal video on my phone, (nothing horrible don't worry), but it's of a nature that would be embarrassing to be seen by other people.
So this video was the latest thing I had recorded/taken with my phone. I went onto the Facebook app on my iPhone to post an older picture I had to my page.
When I saw that this video was still on my phone, I panicked and worried that it could somehow get posted to my page without me actually posting it e.g. a bug whereby the last picture or video taken would go onto your Facebook without you actually selecting it or posting it. So I deleted it while still on the grid page where you choose your photos/videos and so it disappeared when I went back to the app.
Can anyone with 100% honesty tell me one way or another if this is possible? If I haven't explained it enough let me know and I'll explain it further. Again, please be honest cos it's the best thing for me. Thanks.

It may be in Facebook, but Facebook doesn't consider it a bug; it's the way Facebook works. If you gave the app permission to view your photos it gives Facebook access to ALL of your photos. To put your mind at ease go to your Facebook page on your computer and see if it's there.
If you are concerned about privacy online you probably shouldn't have a Facebook page

Data input in table format on a Project Detail Page

Does anyone know of a way to input data for a Project Detail Page (e.g. Project Detail Page) in PWA 2013 using an Excel like view (table view)?
Also, is it possible to edit more than one project at a time in this view?

If you're using Project Server 2013, you have some 3rd party apps (free or not free) which propose an Excel-like spreadsheet to bulk edit project custom fields, such as

Firefox stopped working for facebook apps. Will not allow apps (Farmville) etc to connect to facebook. Can't post to feed as the share interface won't connect.

Facebook apps like Farmvill and snagbar etc. won't connect to facebook. Won't connect to be able to share or post to feeds from Farmville. Won't connect to snagbar. Have removed that for now. Stopped working last night and nothing had been changed. Have done everything suggested. Please help as I like Firefox more than other browsers. Everything is working ok on IE and Chrome.
