Facebook App is not working

Okay don't want to sound like a jerk but Facebook really needs to fix it's app. There have been two updates in the last two days and now I can get the **** thing to work! I don't know much about how apps are made or how they function. That being said near as I can tell it has something to do with the art work which I have no control over that I know of. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times trying to make this essential (at least from my point of view) app work! Before any one asks yes I am still on a dinosaur (iPod Touch 4th Generation) my IOS is 6.1.3 which thanks to apple is as high as I'll ever been able to get because they don't like to produce new IOS software for dinosaurs even though this device is less than a year old to me!
Is anyone else experiencing this problem with the Facebook APP? If so could anyone please offer me a solution?

Even I have this. Probably, issue in Facebook side.(Unable to fetch Artwork) And yes. they released two updates in short interval. Hope they have messed something.
Waiting for them to patch it.
Even from iTunes (PC) it fails to update.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

Push Notification for Facebook App is Not Working Help?

i went to general settings and everything was set to "ON" but it ONLY gives me notifications sometimes..i had a glitch for my Facebook app and was having problems so I decided to uinstall and reinstall and after reinstalling, the push notification seems to ONLY work sometimes and not often anymore. What could be causing this? a malware/infection for iPhone or what could be causing this?

Try first to check your facebook account settings--> notification tab.
Try to remove any app like IM or MSN that use facebook messages from the facebook account setting page.
you can also download facebook messanger app. if you create a US account i.e. put a fake US address.

Facebook app links not working over wifi

This might be hard to explain let alone comprehend so bear with me.
As of the last 24 hours or so I am having trouble using Facebook linked apps while on Wifi. To be specifc I was using the app called "Lost Friends?". I have used this app for months, no issues. All of a sudden last night it would not connect to my Facebook account. I went on to try another app called "Lost A Friend", same issue, no connection to Facebook via wifi. After I left my house (back to 3G) I tried it and it worked perfectly, but again, once home it was doing the same thing. While inside my house I turned off Wifi and it worked again. It sounds to me like there is something within wifi, Facebook or both. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.
To skip a step or two, I went as far as factory resetting my phone, starting as a new iphone and still have the same issue.

I'm using a Mac have a Airport express base station. Everything was fine and I could pull up Facebook on my Mac and Androids over my WiFi. Apple pushed a firmware upgrade and the IOS upgrade. Now, voila, Facebook not working on my Mac or on other devices if logged on to my WiFi. If I disconnect WiFi and am on 4G it works fine. The same issues as others have described.
After trying all the fixes listed and a few not listed like clearing my cookies, history, tmp files and cache, I tried a release/renew. Nope. So I logged out of Facebook, uninstalled the apps, shut down computer, phone and tablet. I finally reset my routers by unplugging my comcast router and my basestation, let them all resync, thinking this might have been an issue with a router table (?). At any rate this would reset all the IPs. (I reinstalled the apps) Worked the first time, about 2 hours later it quit working. Tried the same trick but it didn't work again.
I've read a number of blogs and other posts on 'fix it' type sites researching the issue. It sounds like many of the streaming media sources that require lots of resources and will cost more to operate by using the data plans are no longer working on WiFi.

I have already tried doing all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I have deleted the app, and reloaded it. I will work for a while and then stop. It doesn't really run correctly when I log on through safari either. It will shut off and take me to the opening screen 5 out of 10 times.

Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Try closing the FB app: double-click the home button, locate the FB app in the recently used list, press and hold the FB icon, tap the whit dash line in the red circle.

Most of the default Mac Apps does not work after Mavericks Upgrade

Hi, I did everything, but nothing has brought me out of this misery .
I Updated Maverick just 2 days after its release. Had no problems, other then slow Finder. I restarted my iMac last week, and got caught with these issues, known to me, not sure what all bugs are there.
All these apps does not work: App Store, TextEdit, Preview, Terminal, iBooks, Maps, Calendar, Contacts, Mail, etc
I do not know how to do a clean install, as I had upgraded from Snow Leopord to Mountain Lion and to Maverick using App Store, which does not open at all.
Hoping to get some response soon from Apple support team to help me.

iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version of iOS for the 3G.
Facebook and Whatsapp both require 4.3 or higher.
If you want to use those apps, either use the old version that should be in your iTunes library or upgrade the hardware to a 3GS or newer device.

Other than what you have already done, you should clear the cache from your browser and, if you use it, your Facebook app. Also, deleting old texts can free up some room.

I am an ABAP developer, not a role administrator. I am writing a code that assigns roles to users based on other roles that they have. What I am trying to do is to make my program more robust by not assigning a role if this other role have any sort of problem. The standard function I am using, PRGN_READ_USERS_FOR_ONE_AGR, does not identify that there is a problem and neather can it be identified through the table AGR_USERS.
