Facebook App isn't supported.

Hello, so my BB Curve 8330 is my first smartphone, and I love it, for the most part. I have the Facebook icon and I click it and it prompts me to download the Facebook app. It then askes me to select my language, but no box appears for me to select from so I just hit next. Then it tells me my device does not meet the system requirements for the app.
Can anyone help me??
Also I got the "My Verizon" app as well it installed fine but everytime I go to use it, it just says
"We are unable to display prepaid account information at this time"
Sooo I would love my new BB much more if I could actually use some things on it. Any help please??

Hi, can anyone tell me how to make facebook app support a new language. My iphone is able to read the language but the facebook app does not support it at all.

Since the iPhone has never supported Khmer display, you have perhaps jailbroken it to add this?

I purchased a new iPhone and synced all of my apps from my computer. Now my Facebook app isn't displaying my friends under my friends list. If I scroll down below Z it's says that I have 600 friends but I'm not sure why the list is blank. How do I fix?

Try deleting the FB app and reinstalling it. That seems to have fixed the problem for me.

Can't share videos directly on iphone/ ipod facebook app

i can't share videos on facebook lately. when i am using facebook app on both my iphone 4 and ipod touch, and i am watching a video on facebook, then i click "share" it ends up sharing a link on my wall with the thumbnail of "facebook" and a link called SHARE (m.facebook.com) then when i click on this link on my wall, it takes me to the video!
when i am using m.facebook.com from safari though, i can share the link to the video directly on my wall. any clue why is that? i dont' remember that it used ot be like this. i think i used to share video directly and normally on my wall from iphone facebook app!

The FaceBook app isn't an Apple product. Contact FaceBook for help on their products. FaceBook will be better integrated with iOS 6.

Why isn't my Facebook App working properly

I changed my Facebook password on the Computer then tried to logout on my phone but it wont, it just keeps saying Logging out then crashes. HELP!!!

First try to resett all phone settings from settings->general->resett->resett all settings,...if that doesn't help then delete the facebook app then get another copy from app store

The is a universal Facebook app. However, the present version requires iOS 4 or later. I assume you have a 1G iPod since they can only go to iOS 3.1.3.
Your only choice is to see if you have an earlier version in a computer backup.

Why isn't the Facebook app appearing in my Location Services

I am an iPhone 4 user with the most recent iOS update. I frequently use the Facebook application. As of recently I am unable to upload new photos. The status bar reads complete, however, nothing happens. I was told to check my Location Services to verify I had it turned on for the FB app, however, upon doing this I realized the application no longer even shows up as an option within the Location Services. I'm guessing this to be part of the issue, however, I have zero clue as to why it no longer shows up period vs just having it accidentally switched off. Anyone have knowledge on how to fix this by chance?

doesn't matter what iphone you have, the issue isn't your phone, but with facebook, either contact the app devloper or look at their support site to troubleshoot. Or leave them a review stating your issue.

Hi, can someone please tell me if it possible to enlarge the font on the facebook for iphone app? My old Blackberry allowed me to do this and so far, I am really disappointed with the iphone as I am unable to read the txt on facebook as it is very small and faint. Thank you.

Sorry the facebook text isn't controlled by Apple.
You can increase the text size for built in IOS app by going to settings - general -accessibility - large text.
Since your using a 3rd party app, best ask the app developer or look at the support page and see if that is a feature.

The Facebook app now requires iOS 5.0 or later. I believe that 4.2.1 was the last version that Apple released for the 3G. And with the rapid approach of the iPhone 5S and possibly 6 they are no longer supporting the 3G. I would not be surprised to see them stop offering support for the 3GS this time around.

I tried to use the attached command through TERMINAL :
sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db "DELETE from apps WHERE title='Help';" && killall Dock
sqlite3: Error: too many options: "DELETE from apps WHERE title='Help';"
Use -help for a list of options.
But i didn't work as I got the above error message.

I'm in the same boat as you -- except that I manage both a school lab (volunteer job) and macs in the enterprise (pay job). What I think we need is the Education Volume Purchasing Program

Unfortunately this all seems a little rough around the edges -- for example, I have found updates for AppStore apps on the support.apple.com updates download site, but then when I install them via ARD they don't actually update the software. (The AppStore icons still show as needing the updates, and the version info reports the old version.) The documentation is also vague about which AppleID to use in which circumstance. I think they just haven't finished thinking through the implications of the various procedures and policies upon the various kinds of customers. When we deployed Mountain Lion on the school lab, we made an install usb and went around and installed it on each computer -- and it appears that you are on the honor system as far as paying for all of the licenses that you install. We did! But they appear to have no way to enforce it.
So far, I have only deployed 9 Lion macs in my day job, and our "solution" to the AppStore showing updates problem has been to drag the AppStore icon off of the users' docks so they don't see them!

Then the next step would be to restore your phone. My advice is that prior to restoring you import your photos and videos to your computer and back up your contacts (by syncing them with iCloud or to a supported program on your computer using iTunes) as a number of users report losing these when restoring their device.
