Facebook app makes music quiet?

I want to know if this happens to anyone else because my God it is the most annoying thing ever. I have iPhone 6. A lot of the time while playing music, when I have the Facebook app open in the background, my music plays quieter than it should. When I found this out the first time, I had my volume at about 75% which is my typical music listening volume, and I noticed it was softer than normal and definitely wasn't 75%. So I though that maybe an app was interfering with it, so I started closing apps one by one, you know with the double-click home then swipe up thing, and after closing Facebook, the music started playing its normal volume. Sometimes it doesn't do this, but most of the time it does. And sometimes, the music will be playing normal volume, then all of a sudden it randomly gets softer. So I know that I have to close the Facebook app in the background again... Very annoying. I am not sure if this is an iOS problem or Facebook app problem. I just want it to stop. Anyone know anything about this?

IIce had this same problem with me iPhone 5s starting like 5 months ago. None of my other friends or family have the same problem and thoight I was crazy trying to explain it until I showed them. I got an iPhone 6 plus 64 gb in the beginning of February and the problem still happens. I have to force close the fscebook app and it works at full sound again. Or when Facebook is running in the back ground.
i Have also noticed when I watch videos on Facebook that if I accidently close the video and open it again the sound is really quiet. If I go to start the video over the sound will play at normal volume until it gets to the exact moment I accidently close it then the volume gets quiet again. Super frustrating and annoying. Please let me know if you find a solution.
SOmetimes i I wonder if another app I have downloade makes the vplume tweak out or there is some little dumb setting I have somewhere that makes it happen

Hey guys! I really need help! Ever since I got my iPod touch 4, my Facebook app will not make sounds for notifications. I now have an iPhone 5 and it does the same. I have the sound set to on as well as vibrate but the ringtone I set only plays when I post something via notification center. It lights up and blinks(led flash for alerts) but not a sound. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem since I updated to iOS 7.0.3. and althought all my notifications are turned on to view on lock screen, I don't get any push message notifications. Previously with iOS 7.0.2, I got push message notifications from news apps, gmail, viber, whatsapp, hangouts,... so I re-installed the backup with iOS 7.0.2.
Since several months, I see the same problem recurring for a lot of people with the older iPhones 4, but it seems like Apple Support doesn't care. None of the help requests are reliably answered.
Today I called Apple Support, but as my Iphone is "old", they can't provide me an answer unless I pay for it. They also told me that the problem is app related and not system related but I don't see it that way. Why is everything working well in iOS 7.0.2 and not in iOS 7.0.3?
Kayler2, I suggest that you re-install the backup with iOS 7.0.2. and you will again be able to get notifications.
I sincerely hope that someone has a better solution for this problem, but for now, it's the best we can do.

Can't share music via Facebook from Sony Music app (or Walkman previously)

Hi all, I can't seem to share music via Facebook from the Music (or previously Walkman) app with my Xperia Z1 phone (running on updated Androif Lollipop but was a problem before update as well).
I get the option to share via lots of other apps but Facebook (and the icon for it are missing).
Any ideas how to solve?

As far as I know, Facebook app does not allow sharing music till now, that's why there is no Facebook icon is music share.

Complete restore after facebook app fiasco & found more storage?!?

Ok, so after yesterday's facebook app fiasco, I did a hard restore to my iPhone 4 through iTunes library & suddenly have 5GB more storage. I have put everything back on that was on it in the first place. So, how did this happen? How can I have that much more free space when the same music, apps etc are back on there?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Lost facebook app

I recently deleted my facebook app because it was not working and tried to download it again. I have done this many times without any problems but this time when I went to re-install the app...it said that it was already installed and IT'S NOT!!! Unfortunately, we recently just got a new computer and I have yet to sync my iphone to it so syncing it is not an option.

Is the FaceBook app in your iTunes library?
If not, it needs to be. All iTunes content on your iPhone - all music, movies, tv shows, and 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer and would be with Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Since you don't have this selected, with your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. After confirming all apps on your iPhone were transferred to your iTunes library, download the FaceBook app with iTunes on your computer. Select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences and make sure all apps currently installed on your iPhone are selected below. Select Apply followed by a sync.
If no change with the FaceBook app on your iPhone after doing so, deselect the FaceBook app under the Apps tab followed by selecting Apply and a Sync. This will remove the FaceBook app entirely from your iPhone. Follow this by reselecting the FaceBook app under the Apps tab followed by a sync to re-install the app on your iPhone.
With this selected, after downloading an app with your iPhone, the app will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the next time you sync with iTunes after doing so.

If you tried to restore to your iCloud backup and your photos didn't fully restore, first go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and make sure it isn't still in the process of restoring.
If the restore is complete and all your photos weren't restored, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. You might try the solution posted by ezjules in this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This involves opening the photos app after the phone restarts and you provide the passwords for your Apple IDs, then leaving it open for the remainder of the restore process.

Just got the iPad mini. Why can't I view my Facebook profile? (I'm using the Facebook app) I can open my News Feed but when I go to my page, it comes out with a notice "page doesn't exist, or you don't have permission to view this page" HELP!

Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If none of those work, delete the app and install it again.

I am trying to free up space on my hard drive. I am wondering what if any of the itunes files for apps or music can be deleted without affecting the use of them in the future if they are loaded on my i phone and i pad 2?

When I search my hard drive to find space for freeing up memory I have a lot of files for Apps, and music. I am wondering if these are pertinant and need to be kept on my hard drive, or if I can remove them in any way.

I am going to revise my question to this. If I compress my itunes folder which would save me a considerable amount of space will this make the music and apps information stored in there unsyncable?

Yes tried resetting the wifi connection and problem still persist.
Here it is...to make it clear. Connected thru the same wifi at home...
-> emails (yahoo/gmail) and facebook WEBSITES are working fine and fast when using/accessing thru a browser (chrome/samsung browser) - no problem with this.
-> emails (yahoo/gmail) and facebook APP is soooooo sloooww (thru the App). Slow I mean comparing it to using their browser/websites... news feeds/emails refreshing so quickly but not when using the APP installed in Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Slow like - It will take around 5-10minutes just to get your emails and news feed refreshed.
THIS HAPPENS ONLY WHEN CONNECTED THRU A WIFI which has a speed of 10-20mb. It is not happening when connected to the network data/plan.
My wife has the same Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (coming from different provider at&t) - same setup (emails, fb app), same wifi connection, but she's not experiencing anything like it.
Not sure why, I dont want to believe that while connected to a WIFI, Verizon is restricting anything and ******* me off to make me switch to my data plan connection everytime - which is Unfair!
Was there a known issue similar about this case?

How to use same apple id on 3 ipods and share apps and music on itunes.

I have three kids with different ipod. My oldest has had hers and already has an itunes account. My other two just got theirs.When i set them up it was not able to use same apple ID (email). It said it was already being used by other device. Is there a way to use the same email for all so I am the onein control of purchaes.....
Also how do i add the other tow to my daughters itunes account so they can share apps and music. I plugged them both in to the pc but than when i go to accounts it only shows the original ipod under icloud. I want to use same itunes and icloud account for all.

Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

How do I transfer my apps and music to a new computer? I have authorized my Computer, but when I connect the ipod, it only comes up with the message box "Erase and sync.", I don't get the option to transfer my music and apps onto the Computer. How can this be achived? I really don't want the Computer to wipe my ipod. Any help much appreciated.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Help with new facebook app idea

I created a drawing facebook app that allows users to draw on Graffiti Walls. If anyone wants to see the app LIVE right now, it's at, [link removed by moderator]. I made this app using Flash, Actionscript 3 and MySQL for the database. PHP for the serverside stuff.
Currently each user is allowed his or her own two favorite colors, a message of the day text and also a signature text. I would like to add the ability for a user to store a URL to a mp3 file.(I am not stupid and i'm not allowing users to host mp3 files). Just a link to an mp3 file. Then when you visit that persons wall, the mp3 file loads up.
I guess what I'm looking for is a good mp3 file host to use? One that offers an upload API would be ideal. Anyone help me with this?

The storage used in that display is only an estimate. What do you see, when you select your Macintosh HD in the Finder and look at the sizes in the "Finder > File > Get Info" panel for your harddisk? The free storage is shown in the General brick of the Info panel:
The migration may be needing more free storage, if your iPhoto Library has a corruuption and needs repairing.
Try the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools before you try to migrate the library again to Photos:
Make a backup copy on an external drive.
Then try the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools on your iPhoto Library to repair the permissions and to repair the database.
To repair hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto application in the Applications folder to launch the iPhotos Library First aid tools. Hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
The select "Repair database". Repeat with "repair Permissions".
If it still does not suffice, repeat with "Rebuild Library".
Then try to migrate the library again to Photos by dragging it onto the Photos icon in the Dock.

ALL of your music should be on your computer in itunes. Is it not?
How did it get on your ipod in the first place if not from your comptuer?
Everything on your ipod should be on your computer and you should be syncing regularly.
