Facebook App not uploading pictures

I keep uninstalling and installing the Facebook Application because it won't upload my pictures from my iphone. It will work once or twice, then it won't. Always prompting me to either discard it or save it for later. Any ideas?

Go to Settings > General > Location Services.
Is location Services on?
If not, turn Location Services on and turn FaceBook on for location services.
If Location Services is on but FaceBook is off for location services, turn FaceBook on.
Test if this resolves the problem.

I use iphoto 11.n my photostream is activated n it shows its uploading but nothing come on my cloud.

I had to go to icloud online and click on my profile and advanced options then photostream came up. When you get to 1000 photos it stops uploading so you have to erase and resync to start the process again

Cant not upload pictures from my SD card into FCE through canon xha1s firewire. Is there another way? The strange part is when I originally hooked my canon up to the Imac iphoto saw the camcorder as a device and I do not what has happen since then. I just bought the camcorder and would like to take advantage of the photo capabilities as well as the video. All help would be greatly appreciated.

The card video stuff will most likely load into iPhoto when you tranfer the stills. USB connection only.
The video on the card will be a highly compressed, small dimensioned format and won't work directly with FCE and not over firewire in any shape or form.
However, you could take the clips from iPhoto and convert them to an FCE freindly format such as the DV codec. Streamclip is a free application that can do the job.

User can not upload pictures to Wiki....

Hello All,
I got a strange problem: One of our users can not upload pictures to our OS X Server (10.8.5) Wiki anymore. If the user edits a page and uploads an image, the picture shows up in the page, but the progress indicatior of the upload runs forever. Saving the page hangs also - the only option is to manually re-load the page, but then the impages are gone, of course.
The strange thing is, on pages the user has uploaded images before (some weeks ago), uploading new images works! I had a look at the wiki log file but did not see anything suspect. The client is Windows with latest Firefox. But we have other users on Windows/Firefox that work perfect.
Does someone has an idea where to look for the problem?

Take a look at the following things to help your diagnosis:
Is it the computer or the user account that's causing the problem ?
Let that user try the same thing using a different browser.
Copy one of the images that does work on another user's computer to the computer that doesn't work and try that one.
Vice versa.

Facebook app not working on wifi?

I have the galaxy s5 so does my wife and daughter, and when we are at home we hook up to the wifi, and try to use that to save on data usage. for some reason it does not load photos, comments and videos for a long time. the laptop, tablets, and tv all work fine off of the wifi. we have the same issue in public wifi. any reason?

Yes the pages load fine on data. But even games I have that use internet
don't always work right. But if I turn off the wif i. it works fine. I am
beginning to wonder if I made a mistake leaving sprint.

Iphoto is not uploading pictures to facebook

I've tried to see if there are any updates but the iphoto will not upload photos to Facebook. It either continues saying uploading thumbnails with no movement or iphoto crashes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

+1 for amöbea's response; switching photostream off and then back on again under iPhoto-->Preferences--> Photo Stream seems to fix this problem.

Facebook app not posting

Hi Folks, I realised that the facebook app is not sending the written post into the FB stream. I use the latest updates of OS and Apps as of today on my brand new Passport. FYI my Web privacy on FB is 'friends only'.

I found the bug: when the you reshare a picture and people start commenting on, and you as resharer are replying to these posts, these comments come on the original picture, not the picture you have reshared. People simply cannot see your replies, because the come on the original picture.
Workaround one: use Facebook on the webpage on your passport
Workaround two: download the picture, and upload as a new post

I can not upload pictures it takes forever!!!???? I need help...everything else is great but I need to be able to upload my photos..

I am having huge issues uploading pictures with my Mac...I did a speed test its like .1 on upload speed....help!!!! It has always been bad...we even bought a new router, that did nothing....

With respect, you're not clear.
Photoshop isn't a place, so you can't upload from there. Are your photos managed by an app like iPhoto? Or the Finder? How are you uploading? Give us a step-by-step of how you're going about it.

Facebook App not starting

Hi all,
I have a problem with the Facebook app for my TouchPad -- it only starts up once or twice then it does not want to start anymore.
Seems like the account-related features (pictures etc) still works, just the app itself that does not want to start.
I have already tried:
Not working:
* Uninstall/Reinstall
* Uninstall/Reboot/Reinstall
Works for a short while:
* Erase data (followed by re-signin/reinstall etc)
* Doctoring (not tried it myself, but apparently also works for a little while)
Anybody else here with a TouchPad that experiences these symptoms? Doctoring/erasing is not a solution because the I have to re-do _everything_.

Great catch cronhan! As an aside, I don't think the language of your profile is effecting this (and to my knowledge can't be changed after creation).
I think it has to do with application localization. The Region Settings you mention effect the entire device and it sounds like there is a conflict between your Facebook App and the device when you change the regional settings. IMHO, I think this should be reported back to the engineers at HP.

X6 - facebook app not loading...

when i click the facebook app on my x6 it no longer loads - the page just jumps? how do i fix this please? my phone tells me i have all updates available atm... thanks.

I notice that the Facebook app for X6 is no longer available in the Ovi store.
I downloaded one from the Facebook website on my PC a while ago and installed that.
I have had no problems with it and it is working on my phone at present.
I like it because you can select which album to upload photos to.

5230 Facebook App not loading news feed properly

I've had the 5230 for a couple of happy months but now the preinstalled Facebook app has gone a bit weird. It connects as normal and most things work except the most important one - the news feed! When it loads, I end up with a blank screen where the feed should be. To add insult to injury, I thought I'd try Nokia for Facebook & Twitter for Ovi store but when I download, it sticks on 0%.
I can access Facebook okay on the Snaptu app but that's not as easy on the eye. Anyone else having any probs with the standard Facebook app? So annoying!

Update - Reinstalled app which was a hassle considering ovi insists it is not available for the 5230 even tho the phone comes with it. Prats, making me trawl sites needlessly. Anyway, the news feed loaded again, but when you clicked on "other" for more feed it did not load. Today it will load a 2nd page but not a 3rd. Bizarre. This software blows.

Facebook app not completely deleted?

Hi! My fiancee has an iPhone 3G with the Facebook app installed. She was having some issues with it last night, so she decided to delete it and try to reinstall it. She deleted it (by holding her finger on the app and clicking the X), but when she went to the App Store to reinstall, it's telling her that Facebook is already installed, so it won't let her download it again.
If you go to Settings on her phone, at the very bottom, there is a Facebook menu, but when you click on it, it leads to a blank screen. How can she reinstall Facebook?

Hi, I am also having the same problem, my facebook app was deleted by accident, and will not re-install, as it shows as being still installed, although I still have a blank facebook menu in my settings. The app appears fine in itunes, but refussd to re install after several re-sets and syncs!
Please can somebody from apple help with this issue, as its driving me nuts.

Photos app not uploading

I made edits to my Photos app, such as deleting some photos and creating an album but the Photos app is not uploading the changes to icloud. At the bottom of Photos in the photos view it says last updated as this morning (3 hours ago) and I made the edits 2 hours ago.
Any thoughts on why Photos app is not updating? Is it not designed to update as changes are made and only infrequently?

I Solved the problem I was having with Photos for Mac being hung up on "updating". Simoly sign off from iCloud (within system preferences on the Mac) and then sign back in. immediately my photos started the (slow) process of uploading with feedback that something was happening. About 6 hours later all was synced across devices. I even tried testing incremental changes to Mac photos and device photos and all changes were immediately recognized across devices.

Hello.
I update the facebook app to the newest update on my bb10 and not it's not working at all. The app is not showing in the icons with the F, just like a spot with unfinished icon. Can't access it, can't delete it or reinstall. What's the point having a not working app? If i would know i would keep the old version

What happens when you try to delete the application? Also what version of BlackBerry 10 are you using? Go to Settings>About to find this information. Do you get any errors when you try to re-install it from BlackBerry World?
