Facebook application unninstalling problem (C5-03)

Hey i have accidentally unninstalled facebook installer so this makes my facebook application to give error each time i try to open facebook application, now when i trying to unninstall facebook application completely than its unninstalling cancelled automatically and neither am unable to find facebook application on ovi store so i can reinstall it...
What should i do coz its really annoying to me that some application is installed and not working...... I want it to completely work or either completely unninstall... Its really **bleep** me off....

Problems with Facebook application for iPhoto 6

Unfortunately, I installed an application from facebook that was supposed to make importing from iPhoto to my facebook page much easier. It basically creates a new export tab next to "file export" that says "facebook", but all it does is make my iPhoto crash whenever I try and export and because the facebook tab is the default tab I can't export at all.
Has anyone heard of this problem? Is there a way to un-install the facebook application?

To uninstall: select iPhoto in the /Applications Folder and go File -> Get Info
In the resulting pane, you'll see a panel called Plug-Ins
You can disable and remove the unwanted plug there.

when i log in to facebook application the application shows this message

- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Delete the app and redownload it.
- Contact the app developer for support.

The new facebook application killed my pearl Dx other apps no longer working..

Ok, it's not completely dead but I just downloaded the new upgrade and as it was downloading I received SMS messages.
I let it complete the download, with the uninstalling and rebooting of the old version but then I couldn't find my new messages and the layout was weird and now I can no longer even access my SMS to check them old messages or send new ones and if I try to click on the SMS/MMS icon my cell freezes up.
Is it possible the new application is causing a glitch on my phone?
I can only assume it came from the update as the phone is barely 2 weeks old and I've never had a problem with it. Also the new facebook application runs extremely slowly.. I was wondering if there was a way to downgrade back to the older version? In hopes that maybe my Pearl will start working properly again.

there is an unread message somewhere but you do not look at the right place. Here is how to find that message.
Home Screen >> "Messages" application
menu >> search
leave everything empty except :
Search type: Local
Include Encrypted messages: Yes
Service: All Services
Folder: All Folders
Show: Sent and Received
Type: All
menu >> search
you will see messages. Mark them as read or delete them.

Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
If that doesn't work, look in the app's page in itunes. It's entirely possible Facebook has put out a 'bad update' that is crashing. Look in the reviews to see if others have your problem.
There are other ways to use Facebook without the app. You can use safari to access either the regular facebook site or m.facebook.com . or you can look for third party apps. I have one called Facely but there are others.
the 'official' facebook app is buggy at best.

Well yes the current Facebook app is facing such issue.
But also at times, it takes time to show you the notification and if by chance you view the message on your desktop/laptop by the time it retrieves, it automatically appears as read and never shows you the notofication.

E7 facebook applications

Hy, I am thinking of buying and E7 or N8, can't really decide.. the main problem would be that I checked with Ovi store and none of them seem to be compatible with the Facebook application... do they have it pre-installed ..? I actually need to upload photos and eventually check in some places ... not just change my status... Thank you very much.

There are LOADS of FB apps or workarrounds for Symbian^3 phones, all the ones Rad suggested are good, I use Gravity and Snaptu, but also the Socially app, which I like and find useful for 'multiple posts' if I want to say the same thing on more than one social site. I also find either the Mobile or Full site work really well on Opera mobile and so save both FB and Twitter as one of my 'Tiles' on opera mobile

All the above are free as is the Social app which comes with Symbian^3 and Check in built into Ovi maps.
I would really reccommens Gravity, but it is a paid app and if you don't use Twitter, you won't get the full benefit of it.
Both phones are great IMHO and I use the E7, if your main priority is photography then the N8 is a better choice.

Facebook Application keeps crashing...help!

I downloaded and installed the Facebook application. I'm running 2.0 software and have the original iPhone 16 GB. Whenever I open the Facebook app, it comes up very briefly, doesn't load all the way, and then crashes and goes back to the main iPhone menu. What's up with this?! Anyone else have the same problem or know the solution?

This is happening with lots of apps to lots of people, it doesn't seem to be limited to a select few, so it's most likely due to the buggy 2.0 OS. Report the problem to apple here - http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

How does Facebook application utilize Blackberry push based architecture?

I have posted this message in Blackberry Java Development forum. But was told that "if you are not RIM you will not be able to use the push-architecture with BIS".
Here goes the actual message. Please provide your valuable inputs.
I am developing an Blackberry client application which will be similar to Facebook application for Blackberry.
Since, this application can be download by any blackberry user who would be subscribed to different BES or BIS, how will the push based architecture of BB work here.
See my previous post 'Push content to devices on different BES' (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=java_dev&message.id=3196&jump=true#M3196), which says that push will work through BES.
If that is the case,
How does the FaceBook application for Blackberry work?
Users who download the Fackebook application will definetly not be on the same BES or might be on BIS as well.
Then how will Facebook application receive notificatios and messages instantly using blackberry's push architecture?

Facebook doesn't use the BlackBerry network, it uses the standard data network. If you're on BES, that typically is routed through your BES server. If you're not on a BES, it will use BIS.
I don't believe the application is a "push" application either - it's more likely a real time IM client.

Application Builder problem on one server but not another

I am having an Application Builder problem. When I get into App Express and go inside the builder and try to edit a listed application, I get an “http 404 the page cannot be found. The page might have had its name changed or is temporarily unavailable” situation. I can get into SQL commands, utilities, and administrative activities. I can also run the application. Also, if I go onto a different server with App Express on it, I can get into the builder and edit applications with no trouble. Our DBA had the server in question rebooted a little over a week ago and that took care of the problem for a couple days. Any ideas? Is this an Express problem or a server problem? He had also tried restarting Express before he had the reboot done and that didn’t help.

Facebook application is out of order.

I loaded new update by Facebook application. After then loading, Facebook application has been out of order. O wanna use the application but not open. this application alerts network error

If nothing there helps, try plugging it in with the adapter and picking it up in your left palm to the left of the trackpad and squeeze the case there between your palm and left thumb as you push the power button. Do not let up the pressure on the case. Continue applying this pressure as for several minutes in an attempt to start up. Does pressure on the case there allow it to start up?

ASP application has problems working with oracle database 8.1.7

ASP application has problems working with oracle database 8.1.7 through both oracle ODBC driver and Microsoft ODBC driver
We have an ASP application running on Windows 2000 server, and with 8.1.7 Net8Client and MDAC 2.6 SP1.
The application worked fine with an Oracle 8.0.5 database.
After upgrading oracle database to 8.1.7.0.0, our ASP application works fine except when updating the same data record more than once. The application is not saving our updates.
We tested our application using Oracles ODBC driver v8.1.7.5.0
and experienced more problems. We had problems just bring up our data entry pages. In either case, we are returned with some 505 errors in our browser, problems with the ASP pages and IIS, the page is not displaying.
If anyone has some suggestions on how to fix my problem, please advise. Thanks in advance.

I had a problem and i called apple and nobody solved my problem. I tunes help desk or whatever thay said that problem is not their problem its applications developers problem...
I am explaining my problem :
I downloaded Skype, ICQ ,Air Wings, Shazam , And some of other applications but its koming with japanese language. I change my prefered language to Turkish and my location is also choosen Turkey. But I have still the same problem.

If Apple keep telling me that this is not their problem i am going to change my iphone and my all families phone to another brand...
