Facebook Contacts Profile Pics not updating on Incredible

Just like the title says - after syncing everything with facebook to my current contacts (people) list, the current facebook display picture appears. However, if one of my contacts changes their facebook display picture - it won't change in the contacts (people) list to the new, current display pic. Even if you go into the online directories and update the facebook list you get the current display picture in that list but it doesn't transfer over to the linked phone contact display.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong or how to correct this?????

I am experiencing the same thing, and it's bugging the heck out of me as well. I have tried everything and it just doesn't add up. I know that People is syncing with FB as I am seeing status updates, but I have at least 5 friends/contacts whose photos are not updated. WEIRD if you ask me.
I have sync'd, unsync'd, downloaded lastest FB widget, signed out of Facebook, signed out of FB for HTCSense, shut-off, turned on..... YOU NAME IT!
Will sit tight until someone has a fix.

Recently all of my emails and contacts are showing their profile pictures, even if we're not friends on Facebook. This is really annoying, only because it's added images I don't need/want to see. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, and remove all of the current profile pics of those in my contact list? It's happening on all of my devices (macbook, ipad, iphone). Any help would be appreciated.

disable Facebook contact sync by navigating to Settings > Facebook and toggling the Contats switch from ON to OFF.
Also, if you are syncing your iPhone contacts via iCloud, make sure there are no profile pictures shown for your iCloud contacts - simply log in to your iCloud account from your computer and remove the pics. Same if you are syncing contacts over Gmail.

Updating Facebook Contact Profile Pictures

Is there anyway to update the facebook contact profile pictures? Is there a button where i can press sync and it syncs them?

At this time the only option to do this is with a third party application. The name of the application is SyncMyPix. Keep in mind all applications are from third party developers and are download at your own risk.

THAT MEANS THAT WHEN YOU OPEN A PERSON�S PHONEBOOK CONTACT, YOU HAVE TO VISUALISE HIS BB PIN NUMBER IN THE CORRESPONDANT SPACE. STEP TWO: YOU HAVE TO ASSIGN A PICTURE TO THIS PHONEBOOK CONTACT ( ANY ONE U CHOSEE) AGAIN IN THE PHONEBOOK CONTACT. STEP 3: YOU GO TO BBM OPTIONS, YOU HIGHLIGHT THE OPTION WHER U CAN SUBSTITUTE THE BBM DISPLAY PIC BY THE PHONEBOOK PIC (THE ONE U ALREADY ATTACHED IT TO)."
But it is not like that! The option in BBM changes your PHONEBOOK's contact profile pic with the BBM's pic. So when my BBM friend changes the picture, it changes also in my Phonebook list. But I need to do it THE OTHER WAY ROUND. I want to change the pic in my phonebook so that it changes in my BBM's contacts.
It's very important for me, how can I do it?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

User profile service not updating 'Title' in user information list

In our SharePoint farm, following two user profile sync timer jobs are successfully running but not updating the 'Title' in the hidden user information list.
User Profile to SharePoint Full Synchronization
User Profile to SharePoint Quick Synchronization.
Can someone point me to the right direction? Please note that I don't want to use powershell script shown here to update the 'Title' in the user information list -

Hi,
There are two jobs, User Profile to SharePoint Quick Sync and User Profile to SharePoint Full Sync, that synchronize the User Profile database information with the user information list. Sometimes this stops working (properly) and in that case
you need to run:
Stsadm.exe –o sync –listolddatabases 0
Stsadm.exe –o sync –deleteolddatabases 0
The first command will display all the databases and when they have been sync’d last.
The second command will delete the records corresponding to those databases (it doesn't delete databases/end user data).
Anyways, running this will basically tell the timer jobs that they have never sync’d and force them to carry on as if it’s the first time.
Go to Central Admin and fire off the User Profile to SharePoint Full Synchronization
job.

Which version of BBM you have Installed on your device , you can try reinstalling to see if it reflects any changes. If you have BBM7 then your contacts are stored with BlackBerry ID but if you any previous version then first do a backup of your BBM contacts locally

Once you done with it , Uninstall BlackBerry Messenger from Options > Device > Application Management > Delete BlackBerry Messenger from there . Perform a battery pull restart by removing the battery while your device is Powered On wait a min. then re-insert it back.
After reboot from your BlackBerry browser browse to or click here www.blackberry.com/bbm to download the recent available for your device . After installing see if that helps in resolving your issue.
Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

BBM profile pics not displaying

I recently rec'vd a replacement phone and when going into BBM, I can't see my profile pic,nor my contaccts pics. I can't see my status message, nor can I change my pic.

If you backed up your old settings from your prior device with Blackberry Desktop Software, then you can restore BBM and its settings using the backup file. If you did not, you might be able to restore BBM from a backup from within the app itself. The user has the ability to backup BBM either to an email address or to the device's SD card. Open BBM and press the Menu key and select Options. Scroll down to Backup Management and select Restore. You should be able to get old contacts and their pics as well as any groups. As far as your status and profile pic for yourself, it sounds like the program may not have installed correctly. You might want to delete the app, reboot, and then restore the app. Then you can restore your settings from the above descriptions. Hope this helps,

Hi, I changed my name in my profile just to see what it would look like and then I changed it back, but it looks as though it does not update. I tried several times doing this and same results. I need my Skype name to how I save it on my profile.

I understand what you're asking, however the PowerShell script doesn't fix the underlying sync issue. It only masks it by resolving it for that single time. You'd have to re-run it constantly to keep Site Collections updated.
If you run stsadm -o sync deleteolddatabases 0, you run that once and let the UPA -> SharePoint sync timer job complete. The UPA -> SharePoint sync incremental timer job will pick up after that and regularly keep the user's up-to-date.

Ipod touch 2 g does not go above ios 4.2.1 and the facebook update needs 4.3 , so there is no way to update the app.

IPhone6 edited pics not updating in Aperture iCloud

Got a problem:
I take a pic on my new iPhone6 which shows up on my iCloud in Aperture. I then edit said picture on my iPhone and it looks great, but the pic does not update on the iCloud. Is this a bug in here?

On your iPhone 6 you probably have iOS 8 installed, right? In the previous iOS versions you need simply to save a copy of the edited version to the Camera Roll and it would stream to your photo libraries on your Mac, but with the new Photos.app duplicating does no longer work this way. I have not yet found a way to create a second, edited version, so this version will stream back.

Outlook 2010 SP1 Profile Does Not Update After Moving Mailbox Between Exchange 2010 SP2 Sites

I am working on a large mailbox migration from one AD site to another.
Exchange version at both sites:Exchange 2010 SP2
Two Mailbox Servers: MBX01 in site A / MBX02 in site B
(There is a DAG but keeping this simple)
Two CAS Arrays: CASA.domain.com / CASB.domain.com
The RPCClientAccessServer property is set accordingly. Where MBX01 is set to CASA.domain.com and MBX02 is set to CASB.domain.com
Clients:Outlook 2010 SP1
Scenario: I successfully move a mailbox from Site A to Site B. The Outlook client does not automatically update its server settings to point to the new cas array (CASB.domain.com) and continues to connect to the old CAS server (CASA.domain.com).
I have seen a few articles regarding this pointing to workarounds such as:
- repairing the outlook profile on the client
- delete the existing outlook profile
- run a script to update the prf file (re-cache's email at the client)
I am interested in knowing if anyone else has experienced this, what their solution was for a large migration and if any roll-ups or service packs have possibly fixed this problem.
I would also like to know if you have seen this affect ActiveSync devices. I am getting mixed results in my tests and thought it may be contributed toward different device types, mobile os versions, etc...
I have posted this to the Exchange 2010 forum as well, just wasn't sure where to start.

HR PA and Planning (PD profile) changes not updating auth profiles of users

PROBLEM:
We are on ERP version 6 since 2008. We started experiencing this problem December last year and now it is all over our system. As soon as employees are transferred or new appointments are made in HR on PA or if the PD profile is changed in planning the changes cannot be seen by the user in their auth profile. The user can literally not see the newly appointed employee on the org structure or even newly created org units and positions are not visible. When RE_RHAUTH00 is run on the user name the update indicates that the changes (new employee and new org unit) is linked.
The following updates run every night: RHPROFL0_DAILY_UPDATE and RHUATUPD_NEW. I have also run PFUD during the day to make sure all updates go through. We have also "played" with some profiles with PD profile changes but it is as if the profile remains completely static. We have looked for personnel lists and deleted them to no avail. Our Basis administrator has cleared the buffer for us and has run report RSUSR405 that did not do anything. We have searched through notes on Support packages and have just loaded and tested support pack 46 to 53. The only work around seems to be to delete the user and create a new user and then it seems to easily accept new changes.

Problem With Profile Pics Not Appearing in iMesage

Why is it that I can have a profile picture added to a person in my contacts list, yet that picture may or may not show up in a conversation in iMessage? For some of my contacts the picture does appear, and for some it does not. I'm having this issue on my iPad Air and my iPhone 4.

On the iPad you will see pictures in the left-hand panel for each message thread but this feature is not implemented on the iPhone.
The Mac, in addition, shows the contact picture on each individual message.
