Facebook display pictures don't sync

I have just updated to both iOS 6.0 and OSX 10.8.2.
The problem I have is that, when I add my Facebook account to both my Mac and iPhone and press "Update Profile Photos...", it returns "Updated 0 contacts" and my contacts are not updated.
I'm not sure what happened, but I used iOS 6.0 GM before (I'm a developer), and it used to work fine until yesterday.
I even tried wiping out my contacts and create just one contact with my friend's email that he uses for his Facebook. It still shows "Updated 0 contacts".
Please help.

Hello,
Backup the BlackBerry smartphone. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager top menu select
Device-Forget Device. Unplug the BlackBerry smartphone and Restart the
Mac. Re connect the BlackBerry smartphone and setup the sync again. Select overwrite
Device data.

First, regarding the sync issue, what platform are you using, ie, are you using Elements, Revel Desktop, a web browser, etc?
I see your premium account is associated with the email you are using with this forum. Is that the email that you are no longer wanting to use?

Address book pictures don't sync with iPhone?

I have contact photos in my Address book on my laptop that I would like to transfer to my iPhone. I've tried several things like changing the photos and contact details to try and enable my iPhone to see the contact change and transfer the info but to no avail. I've tried to force sync in iTunes. Not sure why the pics don't transfer. Any suggestions?

Figured it out... You have to double click the image in Address book (on computer) to edit the photo. Then force sync with iPhone. Then they will show on iPhone. And then... if you want the images on the iPhone to show up large when someone calls. You have to go in and edit the image on your iPhone contacts- set the photo. And finally after all that... you get sync pics with Address book.

Call Display Picture Always Full Screen (I don't want that)

There are a few discussions about this, but they all seem to be over 4 years old, and I still have the problem. (Please read the whole explanation, as I've tried several fixes already)
I am extremelly picky with my computer and phone "stuff". Ever since I've owned my iPhone I've made it a point to add a picture to every contact I have.
Early in my iPhone ownership I realized that if you add a picture directly from your iPhone (wether is taking it directly from the iPhone cam while adding the contact or choosing from the library) such picture shows FULL screen when I call that person or when that person calls me. If I simply open Address Book in my Mac and "drag" a picture (say for instance from Facebook) into the picture section of that contact and then synch, then when I make or receive a call from that person it shows small and I still see my wallpaper on the background.
Well THAT's what I want (just like in the Appple commercials), I DON'T want the full screen picture.
Now here's THE PROBLEM;
For some reason NOW, I STILL add pictures the SAME WAY (I go into Facebook, and drag the picture into Address Book) but when I make or receive a call from that person the display picture ALWAYS shows full screen!! It's annoying the heck out of me!!
The ONLY thing different is that now my contact are synched thru iCloud as opposed to synching using a USB cable in iTunes, HOWEVER, SOME contacts show how they are supposed to show (even adding them thru iCloud), but MOST others don't! I feel I should add that ALL contacts I had BEFORE I strated synching with iCloud still show fine, the ones that have a problem are MOST (but not all) of the ones I added AFTER I started synching thru iCloud. And the fact that a few worked fine leads me to believe there's got to be a way of making them all show small.
Anyone has any idea of how to keep them ALL the same?

OK, that's interesting. Now, how do I get all of my contact photos into iPhoto? And do I have to do this one contact at a time, or is there a setting where I can "import all". Furthermore, once all photos are in iPhoto and I select "Import Face from iPhoto" can I do such actions for all contacts at once or do I have to do them one at a time?

Why some sites don't display pictures on my IPod Touch?

When I surf the web on my IPT(IPod Touch)some sites don't display pictures....Instead there is a kind of blue Lego cube with a question mark on it...

The most common cause is that the site uses Flash. Currently, the Touch doesnt' support Flash. If it's not Flash, it may be some other protocol or app that the Touch doesn't support.

I right clked on View Background I..., now I cannot see any of the pictures on Facebook and I don't know how to fix it

Facebook profile pictures not showing up in my Contacts

For some reason only two or three of my contacts show their facebook profile pictures, even though probably 75% of my contacts have facebook photos... why would the pics only show for a few contacts? And how do I fix it? I've checked FB settings and phone settings, but I must be missing something!

You can easily delete your Facebook account from the #Z10, reboot and set it up yet again and allow those pictures to sync.

Display picture of contacts in bbm blank/not showing

Hi guys, am new to this so any help will be highly welcome. Been using my pearl 4 about a year now but of recent, d display picture of 2 contacts always go blank. Don't know wats causin it n I have upgraded to os 6. When I tell contacts to reboot their phone in order to come up, it just randomly takes off another contacts display pic. Anyone else havin this issue?

Doh, so obvious, thanks. The iTunes sync lets me select specific groups, exactly what I want.
To answer your first question as to why I don't use search, I find that a tap (on the vertical alphabet) and a swipe or two is much quicker than typing into the search box, and easier to do e.g. when driving. By narrowing down my active contacts list I can then pretty well guarantee one tap and a swipe.

Facebook contact pictures show up in my iPhone 4s

I am trying to have my Facebook contact pictures show up in my iPhone 4s. I have the FB app installed AND already followed these steps in the FB app:
1. Friends
2. Sync Contacts
3. Synching (turned on)
4. Replace photos (turned on)
Now, it did work for a very select few contacts, like 6... For examples:
For my contact "Allison" it added her current FB profile pic & put a bunch of gibberish under notes (<sn>id:122360 etc...)
For my friend "Pat (Last name)" it added his current FB profile pic but did NOT put a bunch of gibberish under notes.
For another contact it did not add the picture but still put the gibberish in notes.
It doesn't seem to make a difference if I have someone by just their first name, a nickname or their full name. Some work, some don't. & that's where I'm at. If there is some ez way to go individually into a contact & sync it to a FB profile, (like android) that would be ideal because it's not working this way. I have read a lot of other's threads but no one seems to have any answers more than the steps I already did. If anyone has any solutions it would be MUCH appreciated.

Do you mean it won't show up as the little icon in Music, for example?
For some reason, Apple decided to remove that icon even though there is plenty of space available for it. You must now use Control Center to access this functionality, if I am understanding your problem. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and look for the AirPlay icon.
This is a senseless regression on the part of Apple, one of many arbitrary changes that users have to figure out. This goes against Apple's previous culture, that made iOS something even a toddler can figure out. Now we need a modicum of expertise to use this OS. That's bad....

Address book entries don't sync to iPhone

There appears to be a category of entries in my Address Book that don't sync to my iPhone 4S. Instead of having the word "Work" or "Home" in front of the email address, it contains "email 1", "email 2", etc. Editing the item doesn't reveal "Work" or "Home". Any ideas on how to fix this?

Those contacts probably live in a Microsoft Exchange address book.
Click on the red "book mark" in Address Book to display the lists of contacts in the left-hand page, and see if you have an Exchange server configured (it would show up under an "On My Mac" section, with a name configured in Address Book preferences).
You can either configure your iPhone to communicate with the Exchange server, or drag those contacts into the "All on My Mac" category (or another contact group on your Mac).

How can the IE brower display pictures in WCS?

Anyone know that how can the IE display pictures in WCS? Even I enable all field in Security and Advanced in the properties dialog of IE6.0 in Windows 2003, the picture still cannot display in the page of WCS. And the certificate issued by WCS I also have installed it to the Trusted Certificate Authority's local computer. Java runtime 1.5.0-6 also installed. I have noticed that the picture is associated with "do" file and "jsp" file.
Anyone can help me? Thanks for helping me!

Hi Mark,
The WCS is running 4.0 version and the resolution is 1024X768, but the size I don't know that. One of the picture is the "Alarm monitor" at the corner of bottom left. This Alarm Monitor is associated with a JSP file. Thanks!

BBM display picture is blurry! Can not rotate and zoom. Update please

Hi.. Please help me.. I just bought blackberry q10 but I really don't like how the BBM works. How to fix a blurry display picture on bbm? I'm using blackberry for a long time and I need to share and update my pictures to my family and my friends which are mostly live in another country... Please please fix it.... It can't rotate and zoom too... I tried all pictures to put on my display picture but still blur.. Even the picture I took from Q10 itself which is have 8mp but still blur too.. my friend asked me why my pictures always blur like i took pics with a bad quality camera.. It's not cool thank you before

This seems to be an issue for some but not others and I haven't yet seen a resolution. It only happens with display pictures. If you send a picture via BBM it should work fine.
