Facebook does not update "likes," that people "like," after setting Facebook to an exception for "Third Party Cookies"

I recently changed all my Bookmarks to sites that are exceptions for third party cookies and turned off the acceptance of third party cookies. Facebook will not update any "likes" I get until after I reload the page. It also will not allow me to upload pictures, it says that I am not logged in which is really odd. Is this because I have switched to the https://facebook .com?

    Side note:
    If I manually download the Partial Mar, for the Beta update channel, the procedure described on Mozilla Wiki (here: [https://wiki.mozilla.or/Software_Update:Manually_Installing_a_MAR_file Manually Installing a MAR file] ) has not been working for a while. And, needs to be updated for Firefox 4.x and above.

    I do end up downloading the Complete executable (example from here: [http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/5.0b4-candidates/build1/win32/en-US/ Firefox Setup 5.0b4.exe] ), and then reinstall the latest Beta channel build.
    But, this would not be needed if the 'About Firefox->Check for Update' worked.
    That is my question, why is the 'Check for Update' not working on the Beta channel, like it is for the Aurora and Nightly channels?
    Is it something as simple as changing a preference in 'about:config'?
    Or, should I be filing a Bug on Bugzilla instead of asking the question here?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

    when we pack an item on a palett, system calculates tara-weight + material weight = gross weight and inserts this value to the likp-btgew. this is correct.
    now it happens, that shipping departement uses a scale to get the 'real' weight of the handling unit. if the weigth differs, they change the loading weight of the HU. system calculates correct the new gross weight of the HU.
    But when going back to delivery view, the likp-btgew is not updated. Do we miss a setting?

  • My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calles does not work.  It looks like it is working but doesn't.  I have tried in my Hyundai and a Dodge rent car and get the same results.  I updated the last 8.0.2.

    Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call.  This is happening on both cars.
    Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
    My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
    Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.

    We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
    You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE!  After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

    When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly

    No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

    Given the lack of discussions, it's likely that there's something isolated within your configuration or your network connection.  (This'd likely be producing mass panic, if it were a general problem.)
    I've intentionally blocked FB here via local means, so I'm not in a position to test the connection.
    Did you use any of the third-party Flashback removal tools?  If so, which one?
    Do you have any network-filtering, anti-malware or other security packages installed?
    Is your DNS setting aimed at your ISP DNS servers, or at the Google DNS 8.8.8.8 servers?

    you will have the most up to date itunes available for your os 10.6.8. to get a newer version you will have to upgrade to a newer os.

    - If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
    - You need iTunes 10.7 or later on the computer.

  • Manual sync to ITunes does not update music

    I have a generation 3 (I think--it looks like the model number is A1318) IPOD Touch running version 4.1 operating system.  I have ITunes version 12.0.1.26. 
    It does not automatically sync.  When I select manual sync, it appears to go through the process and indicates that it has completed the sync, but nothing has changed.  It does not update the IPOD with new songs from my library.
    Any help would be appreciated.  For example are thees operating systems compatible?  If they are what am I doing wrong.

    Try backing up to iTunes and restore from backup
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    Note that ll the synced media like apps and music have to be on the computer since they are not included in the backup
