Facebook Events Displaying Wrong Info on Calendar

My Facebook Events that i have syncd either display the correct day but the wrong time or display both the wrong day and the wrong time...ex. Party on Saturday July 25 12:00am - Sunday July 26 12:00pm showing on calendar as Saturday July 25 3:00am - Sunday July 26 3:00pm ....and my another one is a Bday Party thats on Friday July 31 10:00pm - Saturday Aug. 1 5:00am...but the Pre is showing it as Saturday Aug 1 3:00pm - Saturday Aug 1 10:00pm
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

unfortunately that really doesnt help cause apparently Facbook uses your computers timezone as the default settings, and since all the computers ive used are on the east coast, there shouldnt be any conflicts. Ive checked my googles calendar settings as well just to make sure and those are correct as well...ive since just removed my google calendar to minize troubleshooting steps..
This is my current Calendar Settings:
First Day of the Week: Sunday
Day Start and End: 12:00am to 12:00am since i couldnt select 12:00am to 11:59pm or 12:01am to 12:00am
everything else shouldnt affect viewing, but they are all left at defualt.

  • Facebook events not showing up in calendar app

    Hi
    I can see the events I've joined on facebook showing up on the calender app on my iphone (ios6) but can't see them on the ML (10.8.2) calendar app. my facebook account is linked with both machine. what do I miss?
    thanks in advance:)

    Hello, I have had the same issue, the Facebook intergration with ioOS displays all the facebook events in the calendar - which can be a real pain if you have lots of events.
    I have not found any option in iOS6 to filter by accepted events or to hide declined events. This is something Apple should really work on - sounds to me like they just bundled this into iOS6 without consideration for accepted or declined events.
    So the workaround which I have found is to stop the facebook calendar in iOS6 (Settings/Facebook) and instead to subscribe to Facebook events and/or birthdays via the site straight into iCal. What is in your iCal will appear on all your devices so there you go. Make sure in FB to state that you don't want al events to be displayed. Then you'll be fine.
    Use this link if you want http://www.wikihow.com/Sync-Facebook-Events-to-iCal
    Make sure to go to the settings option on FB page to select which events you want displayed.
    It lacks the neat little FB icon that would appear via the iOS intergration but lets hope Apple sorts this out quickly and that we'll be able to chose which events to display, accepted or rejected etc....
    Hope this helps,

  • Facebook event overload in iOS 6 Calendar.

    I like the idea of easily having events that I am going to synced in my Calendar, but, apparently, it adds events that you've been invited to even if you haven't decided to go.  I don't need my Calendar filled with potential events, I only want the one's I'm going to.  And, that's only part of the problem.  Many of my friends' events occur on multiple dates - shows, concerts, etc... I only need the date I'm attending to show up in the Calendar.  Can I limit my joined event to the day I'm choosing to go?  Is there a way to fix that in either facebook or iOS?  If not, it really should be addressed because, otherwise, I'm just going to turn off the sync... because it's useless at the moment.

    I hate to chime in and say "me too" but this is bugging me as well - I REALLY like the idea of having events that I plan to attend added to my calendar automatically, but I just can't deal with having events I've declined showing up - for now, I'm going back to my old system which involves synchronizing facebook with google calendar and synchronizing google calendar with my phone
    apple, please fix this.

  • WCS 7.0 - Monitor Clients displaying wrong info

    Hi,
    I've been having some problems with the Monitor Clients menu on a WCS 7.0 server, for instance if I go there and display the detected clients on the last 24 hours I get a different set of clients than if I go and generate a report of unique clients for the last day on the report menu. Is this normal?, shouldn't both reports get the data from the same place and give the same result?. Thanks and resgards,
    Gabriel.

    Sure, here a couple of screenshots of what's being displayed.
    that's the output of monitor->clients->clients detected in last 24 hours. As you see there are 2 clients d0:b9 and 87:5b, now if I run a report on unique client for the last day I get:
    This shows two different clients 65:86 and 08:8a. I've also seen other errors on Monitor Clients for instance if I look for associated clients and have two clients associated sometimes it shows only one or none at all. Hope that clarified my question. Thanks and regards,
    Gabriel.

  • Facebook Events showing one day early in calendar iOS6

    I recently updated to iOS6 and synced my facebook account with my calendar and contacts.
    My problem is that all the facebook events I have joined are showing up as being 1 day earlier than they are on facebook.
    Facebook Birthdays are displaying fine, it's just facebook events that are wrong.
    Have tried deleting my fb account, turning facebook calendar sync off and on, re-starting my phone, and checked location settings

    Jason L wrote:
    Since the iPhone is updated and disabling Time Zone Support does not affect the calendar events it, the issue is most likely related to Outlook/Exchange.
    That logic seems somewhat flawed. Outlook displays it fine. Exchange displays it fine. Other phones display it fine. iPhone displays it wrong.
    To me, issue is most likely related to iPhone?
    Jason L wrote:
    Did you run into any errors or problems when trying the tips in the Resolution or Additional Information sections of the article you linked above?
    No errors, Outlook was already set to my timezone, so I forced it to re-change it to my timezone again. It scanned through my appointments and then gave the message "No appointments, meetings or reminders were found that needed to be moved to the new time zone."

  • Calendar events on wrong days

    I am baffled. I sync my iPhone 3G with my PC's Microsoft Outlook. My events are correct in Outlook, but many of them show up on the wrong day on my iPhone calendar. These are both repeating and one-time events.
    For example, I have an all-day event for the start of Daylight Savings Time. In both Outlook and the iPhone, it shows as a repeating event "Every year on the second Sunday in March". This year, that means Sunday, March 13, from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM. But on the iPhone, it is showing as occurring on Friday, March 11, from 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Even though the repeat is correct on the iPhone.
    I have tried the sync option of replacing the entire calendar on the iPhone from the Outlook calendar and it does not fix the problem. I've also tried reboot and reset to no avail.
    Any ideas?

    I tried some other things like
    1. Un-sync the calendar from Outlook and let iTunes (10.2.0.34) delete all my events from the iPhone's calendar.
    2. Confirm iPhone calendar is empty.
    3. Reboot the iPhone. Confirm iPhone calendar is still empty.
    4. Re-sync the calendar with Outlook. Confirm iPhone calendar is populated.
    No joy. While most events are correct, many are not.
    My iPhone calendar is now unreliable. It even shows St. Patrick's Day on March 16!
    I've reported this as a bug on the feedback page. I hope it gets fixed soon.
    If anyone has any ideas for fixes or workarounds, I'd love to hear them!

  • HT5500 can't see Facebook events in the Calendar

    I choose the option to sync calendar with Facebook events in settings, but I still can't see them in the calendar, and even though I checked the Facebook calendar in the calendar list. what am I missing?

    I'm having the same problem. A few notes in case this might jog someone into realizing what's going on.
    I removed all the Facebook apps on my phone, disabled all of the facebook integration settings, rebooted it, and started from scratch ... multiple times. Even disabled the other calendar sources I have. (Google and work CalDav.) No luck.
    If I go into Settings-->Facebook, turn on Contacts integration, and go back to the Calendar.app I can enable Facebook Birthdays and they come across fine. You would think that the iOS to Facebook authorization is handled in one spot but perhaps that isn't the case.
    I've looked up and down the Facebook settings via the web site and the iPhone app. Nothing looks amiss. (See previous comment about authorization.)
    I have, for lack of better words, messed around heavily with my iPhone Calendar and Contacts settings. I started with syncing with Google contacts and Googe Cal over the net directly, then moving to CalDAV and CardDAV, for both. At various times I messed with iCloud sync as well and adding the same Google services to my Mac laptop Calendar and Contacts app. Currently, I'm back to Google for CalDav and CardDav over the net on the iPhone and the Mac. Everything works pretty well except some Contact fields don't line up, which usually isn't a problem and, of course, Facebook events no longer show.
    Why do I mention all that? Perhaps some of you have tried similar things and we've corrupted one of the internal settings files or plist and put our phones into an unrecoverable state. I can't recall when the Facebook events stopped showing after I messed with things because ...
    The events stopped syncing but some of the old ones were around for a bit. They all dissapered once I started trying to fix it but it wasn't like they were all gone one day. When I noticed this problem it was because events I were adding stopped showing up but there were still a few listed. Almost as if the sync stopped kicking in but the events themselves were still cached.
    Anyway ... that's probably tl;dr length but hopefully it will jog some brain cells.

  • Centro Calendar event display bug

    I have had Palm handheld devices since 1998. I just got a new Centro and am installing my data onto it. (My phone service has not yet switched to it; it is still just a pda at this point.) This upgrade went smoother than previous ones, except for two minor issues and one major one. Minor issue #1) My new Palm Desktop software (ver 6.2.2) does not display any colour on my Sony Vaio running XP. Minor issue #2) I cannot seem to tell the desktop to store the data files anywhere other that Cocuments and Settings/Carol/My Documents/Palm OS Desktop.
    Major issue: The Centro will not display all of my calendar data. It only displays entries that have a Repeat setting! I spent a L-O-N-G time with a Palm tech-support guy on Monday. All of the records are on the Centro - the count matches the Desktop, and the Centro reports that it has plenty of free space.
    The Tech Support guy eventually became convinced that I had corrupted data, so he had me run the utility that checks for corrupted records.
    In the Options box (Options tab) the "Check and repair any corrupted records" does nothing. This thing ran for HOURS and never produced any response. Subsequently, I created a brand-shiny-new Palm setup, with NO data in it, and asked it to check for corrupted records. It ran for a half hour doing NOTHING; I got bored and killed it. Then I started my own debugging. I spent 4 hours methodically testing things and I discovered that ... when the 32,767th record is added on the Centro, all of the other records (except those with Repeats) do not display. Deleting a record does not make them re-appear. So, I believe there is a bug in the Centro software - a 15-bit counter is overflowing (flipping bit 16 and going negative which not surprisingly upsets the Centro). Is this a known problem and is there an update I can get so that all of my data can come with me?
    The Desktop software happily displays all 34,000+ events. However I had to go into the .mdb file with Access and delete several thousand records (my events from 1998-2002) so that the Centro will behave. I have kept the original Datebook.dat file so that I can force the Desktop to re-build the FULL .mdb whenever I get a fix for the Centro overflow bug.

    I regards to the color categories, it is stated on the download page on the Palm website. You probably have installed Palm desktop directly from the CD which does not explain the differences.
    In Palm desktop 6.2 the function to store the data in a different location is not available.
    Regarding the calendar entries, you have probably exceeded the maximum number of records allowed on the device.
    Here are a couple articles regarding this from the Palm website.

  • How do I keep Facebook events from littering my calendar?

    I don't want Facebook events on my iCal.  I've been poking around, to no avail, trying to figure how to weed them out.  Is there an easy way?

    Hi,
    You don't say what version of OSX you are on.
    On OSX 10.8 the Facebook events I have are in a subscribed calendar called "<your name> Facebook Events" under iCloud. To remove the calendar, right click the calendar and select Delete.

  • Viewing photo thumbnails in an event is there a way to display file info?

    Hi,
    When viewing photo thumbnails in an open event is there a way to set the program display file info like filename and date under each thumbnail? Right now I have to look at the bottom left info pane and highlite each thumbnail to compare file datesand it's a PAIN.

    Nope, I can get these options when I'm in Events, in a specific Event.
    I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly:
    I would like to be able to just open a specific event and have the thumbnail grouping display filename... and not have to scroll through the whole list of Photos.
    Do you mean you want a text listing of the pics with no thumbnails?
    Regards
    TD

  • Changing the Event View Field Display Order on a Calendar

    We'd like to change the display of a calendar event to show the Title on top and the time below. This is how it currently looks below. Is there a way to change it?
    Orange County District Attorney

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to change the Event View Field display order on a Calendar.
    You need to insert the code below into a Content Editor Web Part.
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function changeCalendarOrder() {
    $(".ms-acal-sdiv").each(function () {
    var arr = $(this).find('div').toArray();
    var temp;
    temp = arr[0];
    arr[0] = arr[2];
    arr[2] = temp;
    $(this).html(arr);
    //alert($(this).html());
    _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push('calendarEventLinkIntercept');
    // hook into the existing SharePoint calendar load function
    function calendarEventLinkIntercept() {
    var OldCalendarNotify4a = SP.UI.ApplicationPages.CalendarNotify.$4b;
    SP.UI.ApplicationPages.CalendarNotify.$4b = function () {
    OldCalendarNotify4a();
    changeCalendarOrder();
    </script>
    The result is as below:
