For the past few weeks Facebook users are having some major issues and no one seems to be addressing the issue at hand. I have no clue what Adobe and all of the browsers have decided to do but what ever it was it DOES NOT WORK! I am sure that you guys can come up with something to address the issues of Flash Player crashes, Very slow Flash player responces. It used to work!!!! What happened? I feel that this issue is getting ready to blow up in public because some people have their entire lives on facebook and other sites using Flash. I am not just another user, I build computers, I create software... I do it all... Now my question is, why cant you guys at adobe, Firefox, Microsoft, Google, Lunascape, opera... All put your heads together and spend just a little bit of money on fixing this issue or you could go broke if you make enough people upset. This is crazy to sit back and let this all happen.. I request you guys act professional and get it fixed.... Oh and before any of you employees decide to respond to this even if you read it.. I want to let you know I have tried the latest updates... Nothing, I have downloaded older versions of many different browsers... i know it is not a browsing issue It is in the hands of Adobe... I know this much... Firefox and many other browsers got over ran with reports about their browsers crashing so they decided to update so that Flash player would load on its own instead of within the browser... Now that Flash is all alone it has proven that it is the issue... Yet no one is working on the issue to fix it... okay I am done typing now... Fix it Please... Same problem i'm having with mine "ever since the new update to 10." It seems to do it to anything that has a video. On my Bank web site it keeps reloading the main page or if not that it goes to a page saying the following.

The facebook game not loading properly, it getting struck, when i refresh the page Error message was showing. The error message was

I had reset the firefox, but it doesn't fix my problem. I had checked same page in other browsers, like Google Chrome & Internet Explorer. I didnot get problem in that browser, The problem coming in firefox browser only.
Firefox is my best web browser, Please help me to fix this problem.

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection. -

I have the galaxy s5 so does my wife and daughter, and when we are at home we hook up to the wifi, and try to use that to save on data usage. for some reason it does not load photos, comments and videos for a long time. the laptop, tablets, and tv all work fine off of the wifi. we have the same issue in public wifi. any reason?
Yes the pages load fine on data. But even games I have that use internet
don't always work right. But if I turn off the wif i. it works fine. I am
beginning to wonder if I made a mistake leaving sprint.

When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly
No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

Weird... Turned the iPad off and back on, while waiting on the line to be connected to an apple support specialist, now it works.

i have the iphone 4s and facebook is not working on notification center and it does not have sound at all. why is that?
There are bunch of people with the same problem on that forum. Advise to wait until new IOS comes out on 19.
When there are so many people with same problem, usually points to server problems, possibly updating or getting ready for IOS 6 -
Firefox gets Stuck while Playing Facebook Games and Working in Another Tab
Firefox gets stuck while playing facebook games (restaurant city) and side by side working in another tab or window of firefox. Switching between tabs takes time and on facebook scrolling doesn't remain smooth it gets stuck again and again while scrolling the page.
Also, in earlier versions it was a great feature that when once a game is loaded then when i open it second time it was loaded immediately without any complete loading but now every time you play the same game it will load completely which happens generally when we reinstall firefox so that our saved cookies gets destroyed.
ON THE OTHER HAND OPERA 10.6 LOADS FACEBOOK GAMES SMOOTHLY NO HANGS NO STUCKS NO FREEZES EVEN DOING OTHER WORK AND THE GAME ALSO LOADS IMMEDIATELY THE NEXT TIME WHEN IT IS OPENED.

since updating to 11.9 loads of my facebook games will not work. The flash player says it is working but at least half of the games will not load. I have had this problem since the update & have had to system restore several times now to go back to the previous version (which works fine). I dont really want to do another system restore as it means putting back a lot of other things I have recently installed I am using windows 7 (64bit) & mozilla firefox. Please fix this, its driving me mad! Is there any way I can just stick to the old version which I was perfectly happy with.

Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer
Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLERS to remove all instances of Flash Player and Shockwave.
Next, run the Shockwave installer, and then the Flash Player (other browsers) Installer. -

I am tired of my facebook not working. It has been almost a 5 months since I had this problem where it keeps saying:

Google Chrome cannot reach the website. This is typically caused by network issues, but can also be the result of a misconfigured firewall or proxy server.
Now I get the same result on all my browsers. I have tried many many solutions from removing cache, proxies, hosts.. Nothing works. Even changing my DNS server to 8.8.8.8. Please someone help me lol and yes facebook works on all the computers in my house except mine

Some commercial "anti-virus" software, such as "Avast," may modify this file. If you've installed any such software, I suggest that you remove it according to the developer's instructions before continuing.
The easiest way to fix the hosts file is to restore it from a backup that predates the modification, or to copy the unmodified file from another Mac. If you can't do that, then do as below. Please read this whole message before doing anything.
Back up all data. This is a simple procedure, but if you don't follow the instructions exactly, you could be left with an unbootable system. In that case, you'll have to restore from a backup or reinstall OS X.
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

This time, you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. Confirm. Quit Terminal. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
That will fix the hosts file. There is now a copy of the old hosts file with the name "hosts~" in the same folder as "hosts". You can delete the copy if you wish. -
Games not working on Steam (is it 64bits now?)
After months of playing games with Steam, the last few with that long command to load the libs, it is not working for me anymore (the games, Steam works). Last time I played was yesterday, less than 24h hours ago.
On loading it says:

Which is strange, because I always thought it was 32b, so it may be new.
When I want to play a game, in my case Dota2, it says it cannot find the opengl entry point. Video card unsupported or update drivers.

Worked for me, thanks. I had already removed at least some libs in the past, I guess a recent update either restored them or cause a new incompatiblity. -
Typeahead function in search field inside Facebook does not work in Firefox 13.0
Until 3 or 4 days ago, cool typeahead function inside search field inside Facebook always worked in Firefox. Now since 4 days ago, it does not work. But the typeahead function works inside search field inside Facebook on Internet Explorer BUT I prefer to use Firefox and do NOT want to switch to IE!!!
Is there anything I can do to regain that function?

The behavior did not start with Firefox 13. I actually upgraded to Firefox 13 in hope it would solve the problem that happened in previous older versions. It failed to solve the problem.
It had been working for 3 years on Firefox until last or 2 weeks ago.
Regarding search, I mean by "type-ahead" which is that FB's search field offers a drop down list of possible search results as I type. For example, if I type S, it will show list of all people or groups with first letter S. If I type sk, it will show list of anything such as people or groups that starts with Sk, and so on. This is most valuable time saving technique to look for my pals to say hi or groups that I do not belong to but want to read their news or info.
I think it is Facebook's programming problem but if I ask them, they will point to Firefox's fault by saying that it works for my Internet Explorer but not for Firefox and I do not want to get involved into tug war between Facebook and Mozilla.
I am just bummed that the valuable time saving search method no longer exists on Firefox.

Problem with cropped WPF content in an ElementHost
I am displaying a WPF control inside an ElementHost. It works on most systems but on SOME the content gets cropped. Can anyone help me in the right direction with this?
