Facebook gone from Share Menu

Since my update to OS 10.10.3, Facebook is gone from my share menu. It is also missing from the list under Share Menu in the extensions preference pane of the system preferences. I am logged into Facebook, and it also appears in my internet accounts in the system preferences, but, since it is lacking in all the share menus (of course, also with "more...") I can't share anywhere (for example, photos from Photo app).
It has worked in the past.
All other accounts (Twitter, Flickr, etc.) are there, only Facebook is missing. I also tried rebooting, re-signing in to Facebook. Now am out of ideas -- would be grateful for help.
System: Macbook retina, 10.10.3

Further information:
I discovered that after logging into Facebook in another user account on my Macbook, Facebook appeared in the share menu as it should. So I figure, the system is okay, something is wrong just in my user account.
I tried replacing all of the user preferences with those from the other account. Unfortunately, after a reboot, the behavior was the same, no Facebook in the share menu or the list of extensions.
My conclusion: whatever it is, it is not the fault of the system or user preferences. What else could it be? Where do these system extensions reside?
An alternate idea: is it possible to import everything into the other user account, the one that works? Is there an easy way to do that? Overwriting duplicate data is not a problem, I don't want to merge two accounts, just get a clean start with a new one.
Any advise would be appreciated!!!

My Creative Cloud icon is gone from the menu bar and the CC app will not open. I'm on OS 10.10.3. I've tried reinstalling and also various fixes suggested on this forum but to no avail. Incredibly frustrating to be paying monthly for a product that doesn't work.

    Click on below link :
OS X Mavericks: Enable and disable the root user
    (Applies for Yosemite as well)
How to log in as root
Use these steps in Snow Leopard and later to log in as the root user.
If you are logged in, choose Log Out from the Apple menu.
If you are logging in from a list of usernames with pictures, click Other.
In the Name field, type: root
In the Password field, type the password you defined when setting up the root user account.

  • My creative cloud icon has gone from the menu bar on top right hand side of screen

the creative cloud icon is gone from the menu bar?  How can I get it back?

Sometimes too many open apps will hide it, but if it closed,
Restart the Creative Cloud app. Look for it in Spotlight.

  • Notifications are  gone from settings menu

All of a sudden my notifications menu button is gone from the setting menu's Seems it might be connected to the last update? So how am i supposed to make changes to me notifications settings?

Options under sounds?  Facebook can be changed directly from the app's settings if you are using the app and not a text forwarding option.
From a home screen, select Apps (located at the bottom).
From the 'APPS' tab, select Settings.
From the 'DEVICE' section, select Active Display to enable or disable.
Enabled when a check mark is present.
    Select Manage notification types.
Anything in there to allow changes?

  • Mail option is missing from share menu

"Mail" is missing from the share menu. When I go to the Extensions preferences in the System Preferences it is checked buy also grayed out. On Apple.Com it clearly shows in the example that Mail is present in the Share dropdown menu. I verified that my Mail account is correct. I have also tried Apple's instructions on this page: If sharing options and Markup are missing after you install OS X Yosemite - Apple Support. Still nothing works. The Apple Help file even says this:
    Share Menu
Select the items that you want in the Share menu, and in the Social widget in Today view in Notification Center.
The Share menu is available in several apps, including Safari, Contacts, and the Finder. If an item is selected, but you don’t see it in an app’s Share menu, then you can’t use that item to share in that particular app.
Only items that allow posting or messaging can appear in the Social widget.
So, it would seem from this that Mail is not available in Photos? I find that hard to believe. I would be nice to still be able to email a photo directly from the new Photos App. Any other help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Having the same issue!  Just updated to 10.10.3 and still no mail option in the share menu for Photos app!  Share via email works fine in Safari but it is not available in Photos app.  Hopefully someone will advise or respond asap otherwise, will wind up following the steps to reverting back to iPhoto!!

  • 30 fps projects automatically become 25 fps when export a DVD from share menu

I shoot some video at 30 fps.  I made a project setting to match that.
My 30 fps projects becomes 25 fps when I make DVDs from FCPX share menu.
I thought it would make 29.97 DVDs but somehow FCPX makes PAL DVDs.
I tried different settings: all 23.98, 24, 29.97, 60 fps projects give me 29.97 DVDs when I share from FCPX.
Only 30 fps projects does not give me 29.97 but 25.
Do you know why that happen?

I am bit confused.  It is not easy to make 29.97 out of 30 fps yet let FCPX handle the frame rate change?
Of course we should have the right fps setting when we shoot.  I guess it is still best option at this stage to set FCP project 29.97 and let it do the math.
If, though, I am okay to have my source video slow down tiny bit, then using Compressor for frame-to-frame conversion will assure the best quality?

  • H.264 profile from share menu

    Hi everyone!
What profile (basic or high) getting videofiles encoded in h.264 from "share - export media" menu. And one more: keyframes's steps of this export option? If someone know it - tell me, please! Thanks!

Media Info reports an h.264 QT export as High profile. Can't help with the Key Frame intervals.
BTW, if you still have the Export Media option, you're a couple versions out of date.

  • Can't email Excel file from Share menu

When I use the Numbers Share menu to email an excel file nothing happens. Looking in the Console app I see this:
    3/3/13 8:12:47.446 AM Numbers[187]: Assertion failure: Method: outlineView:willDisplayCell:forTableColumn:item:
    Object: <LSStylesController 0x2cade010>
    File: /SourceCache/Numbers/Numbers-554/numbers/LSStylesController.m
    Line #: 525
Found a non typical table style, using low DPI image
I can export the file as an Excel file to the desktop and email that but why does the Share menu feature not work?

When you send e-mail via the share menu you have to be very careful with the characters in the file name. The share menu will not work with any "illegal" characters. It's best to stick with only letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens & underscores.

  • Publish is gone from my menu; how do I find the url of a calendar to shar?

I used to publish calendars, but publish doesn't come up as an option. I tried sharing, but the people I want to share with don't have MobileMe. I made the calendar share with everybody, but I don't know how to find its address to give to people. I loved the system the way it worked before -- please don't tell me I have to migrate everything to Google...

Only 'On My Mac' calendars can be published to an ordinary web page: MobileMe calendars can be shared but the viewers will need a CalDav client to view them - iCal is of course one such, or Google Calendar for people with Windows. More details here:
    http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/sharedcalendar.html
There is an unofficial and probably very dodgy method to publish a MobileMe calendar to a web page, but it depends on a bug in iCal so there's no guarantee it won't stop working at any time (and I don't know whether it works in Lion). Use at your own risk: the method is described here -

  • IPhoto can't do burn from Share menu

    Hi!
My neighbour came round and asked me to burn a CD of her children that I have in my photo library.
I usually drag them all into a folder and burn from the desktop.
Today I decided to look under the Share option and it said "Burn"
I selected it and after a few secs a message appeared "No devices are available for burning"
I find this funny, as not only do I have a Superdrive installed, but also have a DL LaCie DVD/CD writer installed.
Why is it doing this, and how can I correct it?
    Thanks in advance

    Rob:
Does your neighbor have a Mac and iPhoto? If not then you don't want to use the Share->Burn option. That's only for using with iPhoto. You should use the File->Export->File Export menu route and export to a mounted, blank CD.

'''Show All Bookmarks''' is the new name of that menu item.

  • Ran Creative Cloud Cleaner, now its gone from my menu bar

Also, photoshop CS6 has disappeared from my system.

Can you explain briefly what options you selected during the "Cleaner Tool" operation? You have to go back to creative.adobe.com to download your CC app again.

  • Apps icon gone from iPhone

I let my friend play with my iPhone the other day and now the "apps" icon is gone from my menu. Is there anyway to get it back? I have no idea what he did to get rid of it.

It cannot be deleted. First, swipe through your home screens was it simply moved to another home screen? If not, your friend set Restrictions, and probably a passcode as well. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions. If it asks for a passcode, Restrictions are ON. Restrictions can be used to 'hide' the icons for Safari, YouTube, Camera, iTunes, and the App Store. You'll need to get that code from your friend. The only other way to turn them off is to perform a Restore in iTunes, not from backup (meaning you'll lose all your data and settings).

  • All iTunes Store items and NetFlix have disappeared from my menu

I noticed today that the iTunes Store is completely gone from my menu.
The Movies Tab is there but just the option for "In Theaters", TV Shows is gone all together and NetFlix is removed.
Everything else works (YouTube, Streaming from my iMac, AirPlay from all devices)
I don't understand what gives. I am scared to do a Reset due to the fact I don't have the remote any longer and will lose the connection to my Remote App.
Any suggestions or something I am doing wrong.

Disregard this message, found another thread on the matter.
Unplugging the device solved the problem.
