Facebook isn't showing properly since updating Firefox 6

Facebook isn't showing properly. It seems that the frames are off and I have looked at everything under Facebook and cannot figure out how to return it back. When my son looks at my Facebook page from his computer everything looks normal. I didn't start having this problem until I upgraded to Firefox 6 in the past few days.

Just let it sit plugged into the charger for a while. The device will be laggy for a while. That's normal. If it stays llke that more than a day or two then we should get worried. Post back here if that turns out to be the case and will troubldshoot further.

    Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

  • Since updating Firefox I have problems with playing Zynga games

since updating Firefox I have problems with the Zynga games I am playing. The functions often stop working so I have to reboot the game. Also there are often a lot of items missing on my screen so I can't play at all

I have this problem, as well, since the upgrade to 4.0.1. After the upgrade, I found several 'Recovered Files' in my Trash. On taking a look, they all had to do with the Crowdstar app. Happy Aquarium, I believe, but there are several folders of them. Some of them could have to do with Zynga's FarmVille.
However, after repeated problems, I installed Chrome 10. to see if the Facebook apps. would work. They did, without problems. That tells me the folders in Trash shouldn't have anything to do with whether they operate or not but it has something to do with something Firefox has done, or not done, with this upgrade. Frankly, I'm baffled and more than a little annoyed. :/
However, thinking back to the upgrade, it happened suddenly while I was on the phone with AppleCare on another matter. It was they who suggested I needed to upgrade my browser and I did it immediately, on-the-spot. It wasn't what you would call a 'clean install' because I was on the phone but also online with AppleCare. The process went so fast, I remember there were things about the installation that didn't quite seem right and I do remember that the earlier version of Firefox was not removed prior to the upgrade. Is there any chance something could be out-of whack because of this? If so, I need to know how to save my passwords, bookmarks, profile, and any other critical info that would need to be transferred.

  • Music/iTunes Match not working properly since update to iOS 7

Music/iTunes Match not working properly since update to iOS 7

    Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
     Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
Here is a link to their contacts with most of the information below.

  • Since updating Firefox, Google appears as a string of foreign characers

Hi, since updating Firefox, as the title says, any google page just appears as a string of foreign characters. I've had pages like this before, but only when connecting to live streams. I've disabled all Google-related plugins and addons, but still the problem persists. The solution in the other thread to do with about:config (changing an option to 'true' failed. The only other difference to it is that it won't connect in http any more, just https. Any help?

    Hey TheDefiniteArticle,
We've been tracking this issue for a few days now. What date did it start to occur? Wondering if it's an extension update or something.
    # In the url bar, type about:config and hit enter. Confirm that you will be careful and proceed.
    # In the search bar at the top of the page, past this text without the quotes "network.http.accept-encoding"
    # This should narrow down the values in the config file to a single line. In the column that says "Value" please tell me what you see.
    # This field should read "gzip, deflate" without the quotes. If that is not the value, double click on that field and paste this vale in.
    # Restart Firefox and try a page that has had strange encoding previously.

  • MMS texts not working properly since updating to KitKat

I used to be able to send and receive group texts although I would sometimes have to 'download' the group messages, which was a pain but at least I got the messages.  Since updating to KitKat on 5/21/14, I have been unable to receive group texts at all and any pictures are VERY slow in coming to me.  For the group texts, I will receive a notification but can never actually SEE the text no matter which way I go in to see the message.  With pictures, there will be the little (1) - or whatever number of pics I've received - at the bottom of the messaging icon, but the pictures don't show up at all, or they will come through after I turn the phone off and back on...which I don't do every hour of every day.  This is so annoying!
I have seen other people in the forums having similar problems and they have recommended force stopping the messaging app, clearing the data...blah blah...but that doesn't work.  I did a chat with a Verizon rep earlier today for about an hour and still didn't get a fix to my issue before I had to sign off of the chat due to a meeting.  She had me delete all my text threads (which I wasn't a fan of), and doing the force stop, clear data, clear cache, etc. none of which worked.
This is making me not like my phone right now.

Hi Kevin.  Thank you for your response.  I was using the normal text messaging application, not Hangouts.  I'm having issues with the picture messages no matter where I am at, on Wifi and on mobile data.  The Verizon tech I chatted with yesterday had me try both ways and should be documented in my account if you can access that information.
I did try downloading a 3rd party app last night (Textra) and picture messages go fine through that app, but I still have the trouble with group messages.  I tried to send a group text to my husband (on an iPhone) and my cousin (on a Samsung) to test things this morning and my cousin received it and my husband didn't.  When my cousin responded it went to a single thread, not the group text.
I would really like to just use my phone like normal, without having to find a suitable 3rd party app to make things work right with my messaging.

  • Since updating firefox i can no longer connect to pogo error message says i have no java yet test say i have lates current update of java

i updated firefox and now i can no longer access pogo.com it states that java is unavailable on my pc. When i run test for Java it states that i have most recent update installed and it is operating

I don't know what test you are looking at. You have Java 1.6.0_11, which has known security issues; the current version is 1.6.0_21. For updating see below.
You need to update your plugins. It is important to keep them updated due to continuing security fixes and improvements in those plug-ins:
    * Macromedia Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.0
    * Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape (you '''<u>MAY</u>''' need to update)

  • Since updating Firefox to 6.0, my Quicktime Pro on Mac OSX 10.6.8 won't allow me to save MP3s, although I can listen to them on the page.

I recently updated Firefox to 6.0 and it quit allowing me to save any mp3s downloaded to the page, although I can still play them in Firefox.
For a very brief time, I was able to save them after the update, and I believe it has something to do with bit rate, as I was asked whether I wanted to increase the bit rate. I clicked yes, but didn't take note of whether it was 32, 64 or something else.
Next time I restarted Firefox, it went back to the original setting and I don't know how to change it. I even purchased another copy of Quicktime to see if that would help, but it didn't.
I'm also having this problem in Safari, so it's probably a Quicktime fix, rather than Firefox, but if there's anything you can tell me, I'd really appreciate it.
Apparently, there are third-party Quicktime softwares that will help, but I don't know what they are or what they do. Can you help, please?

If you upgrade to Lion it comes bundeled with it!
To get it on your Mac Pro just copy the aplication from the aplication folder on your MacBook.  You can do this via a thumb drive or over a local network connection.

  • Pdf files not opening properly since updating to 1.7.1.418 only happens with security locked files

I've saved a file in pdf format from Illustrator with a security lock & now it wont open in Photoshop. I've only had this issue since updating to version 1.7.1.418

Wouldn't it be a good idea to completely invalidate the applet cache in the JRE installer?Yes, I guess it should be an option for user of the app on first start after upgrade, not for the JRE installer. There are many large applications that users would want to avoid re-download.
From the log, there is some hidden exception during first launch. The best way to proceed is to file a bug, including some guest/debugging access to the game.

  • Since updating Firefox, Dashlane doesn't work, but I am told you are working on it? When can I expect it to work again?

I updated Firefox and started to use it again, after having problems with it freezing and crashing. I had used it for years, but suddenly it was not working well and I went to Safari. When they indicated an update to Firefox, I updated it and started to again use it, as I always liked the way it worked and most of my Bookmarks were still good. I found that Dashlane did not work with it and I have been told you are aware of this and working on the problem. Please notify me when it is solved, as I want to continue to use Firefox but have to switch back to another browser to get to my bank or stock brokers site. For the record, I use a MacBook with OS 10.6.8.

Could you check to make sure Dashlane is up-to-date? Two other Mac users this week reported success:
    * [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1030201 Updated to Firefox 33.1 on my MAC 10.10. My dashlane icon was grayed out (was a green dot) next to menu icon. How can I reactivate Dashlane?] - reinstalled from Dashlane site (4 days ago)
