Facebook keeps logging out and Phone overheats

After I downloaded ICS, the Facebook app from the Play Store keeps logging me out. After it logs me off, I then get a message saying "Authorization Failed." It un-syncs my friends from my contacts. This happened to me like 4 times already and its annoying. Is anyone else having this problem?
My phone seems to get hotter after the update as well. Other then that, I love the update

RayRey, I know how frustrating this can be and I’m here to help! Having issues with the apps on your phone is never fun.
A large update like Android 4.0 brings many changes all intended to bring enhancements to the user experience. But it can also not be compatible with other apps on the phone. I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the FaceBook app and see if that helps.
If you’re still having issue after reinstalling the app run the phone in Safe Mode http://bit.ly/vDpqOD to see if another 3rd party app is causing the issue. If the issue persists while in safe mode I would recommend a hard reset http://bit.ly/wLmjGs to fix the issues after the software update.

There are a number of things that you could try - resetting SMC and PRAM, doing an Apple Hardware Test, reinstalling system software, etc.
But, if I were you, I'd take the unit into an Apple Store or an AASP. But be certain that you backup all of your data before you take it in.
When there's no rhyme nor reason to restarts and 'blank screens' on a daily basis, it's best just to let Apple handle it - they can run tests that aren't available to mere mortals. Could be anything...

Why does my Mac Air keeps logging out and restarting

Can you explain to me why my Mac Air keeps giving me this message? In the middle of a download and I get this when the computer goes into sleep. Once I get this message it will keep trying to log out until finally I log out and then back in again.

From the menu bar, select

If there's a closed padlock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane, click it and enter your login password when prompted.
Click the Advanced button and, in the sheet that opens, uncheck the box marked

Safari keeps blanking out and phone returns to the desktop

hello...this problem just started over the weekend...
i keep losing my safari...it just blanks out and goes back to the desktop. i have to tap safari again, and the website reloads...
it happens most when i'm scrolling/flicking up or down on the page...
any info would be apreciated...thx

Try doing a hard reset of the phone and see if the issue continues:
Hard Reset: Hold Down the Home and Sleep button until you get a apple logo on the screen.
If the issue continues with safari on the iPhone, then you will need to restore the software on the phone.

It might be that you are logged in with HTTP authentication (either basic or digest). This authentication is arranged by the browser, so you would have seen a pop-up dialog asking for a user name and password while logging in. It seems that these are cached by the browser and it requires you to restart the browser to log out...

Because I found that having to restart the browser quite annoying I stumbled on this question and also on the HTTP Logout add-on that allows you to log out without restarting your browser. Not many sites use HTTP Authentication, but you might give it a try.

Cannot change appleid on my phone. Some other id is on there and there is no way to delete it. I have logged out and logged back in in settings, then when I go back to the store it still says the other appleid

I switched to a different iphone today. When I go in to do my updates it has another person's apple id. Even when I went into settings, log out, and log back in that apple id is still there. I cannot get it to go away and it isn't in my settings to delete.

It seems that app was downloaded with the Apple ID that keeps popping up. Delete the app and redownload it.

Check Security & Privacy system Prefs, general tab. Click the padlock, then authenticate. Click advanced tab.
Check to make sure it isn't set to log out after a certain amount of time.

Facebook Keep Logging me out

When I use safari to go on facebook, I log in and click remember me but then randomly when I am on facebook, it says "Not logged in" and it makes me log in again. It happens every 5 - 10 minutes and only on safari. Please help me

Try to go to the settings on your phone... Settings > Store > Click your Apple ID: And sign out from your account, then sign in again .... This solved the problem for me on my iPhone 4s

CanI dont want my data synch with my work pc. Why cant I just go to a FireFox Account log and once logged in, have my data shown as a plug-in. When I am done surfing I log out and my data remains on the web and NOT on the local pc?

Lets make Firefox Synch a function that if one 'logs onto' his or her account, then the browser will 'plugin' the users data (ie History, PW, etc). Once the user finishes his day (work or at home) he or she logs out and nothing remains in the local pc regarding favorites or anything. Instead of synching the data to every pc just keep the data on the cloud or web. That way the data travels where ever one is without the need to synch it and thus having it on the local pc. Maybe it already does this, but I dont see it explained anywhere. My 2 cents.

When my pc and tablet were together I synched the bookmarks and everything was fine but I had to send my pc to repair and upon receiving it back I used the same sync account and although my phone and pc sync history the bookmarks and preferences on my tablet will not show up on my phone or pc. I have reset firefox and uninstalled and reinstalled, and I have changed recovery key, but the only thing that seems to show up as sincing with my pc is my pphone with no bookmarks passwords or preferences.

N8 Social app keeps logging out

The home screen's "Social" app keeps logging out constantly from Facebook asking password. There is no "remember me" option in the app. This is really annoying and it prevents me of using the app.

I'm having the same problem. I get logged out, then it rejects my password. Sometimes, if I keep clicking "Sign In" after I get the "Incorrect userid or password", it lets me in. But then it kicks me right back out and shows me the Login to Twitter screen.

Skype keeps logging out automaticly.

App keeps logging out

This is sooooo frustrating - Is there any way this app can be set to stay logged in? Spotify's own recommendation to resolve an issue where the app keeps logging out is....... To reinstall!!!!! What use is that to people who have lots of music synched with their device? Do they expect us to reinstall every couple of weeks and spend 2 hours rescyncing large libraries? They need to try and resolve this or I for one may look at other services:(

On my Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.2, Spotify 0.5.13.63 was also asking me to log in everytime it restarted.
I fixed it doing the following (Spotify refers to the Android application):
Log in to Spotify application using my email (I don't have a Facebook-connected account)
Put Spotify in Offline Mode
Force Quit Spotify
Restart Spotify and witness how it automatically logs in
Disable Offline Mode
After doing this I was able to preserve the login after both Force Quitting the app and Restarting the whole device.
I guess enabling the Offline Mode sets some persistent login token that gets neglected otherwise.
