Facebook login causing problems

Hi,
I use Spotify to stream music at work, but my workplace blocks Facebook. What is happening is that when Spotify attempts to "verify" my account using Facebook credentials, it is being blocked, due to the overall Facebook block. I am thus unable to stream music unless I switch over to 4g, allow Spotify to verify the account, and then switch back to WiFi to stream. This is very inconvenient.
Is there any way to switch my login from going through FB? I haven't set up an email address with my account (I pay for premium).

IPhoto Facebook login

iPhoto does not recognize Facebook login. After failing, I receive from Facebook a code to enter, but iPhoto does not have place to enter the code. What do I do to correct it?

We are having the same problem. However, I don't think it has anything to do with the software on our computer because the exporter works on my facebook account but not on my wife's. But I can't see what causes it.

Storing Facebook Login Data Of A user In An Application

I've recently been working on a desktop application which allows users to view some of their facebook details such as albums, images and statuses within my application itself. However I've noticed that every time the user access the app before they can access these details they need to be taken to facebook, actually login and then close internet explorer before my application can access these details. As far as I know this is a necessary validation procedure however I believe this defeats the object of having a user's facebook details in my application when the user has to first access facebook anyway to login and see these details when they could have simply stayed within facebook in internet explorerand viewed these details there.
What I'm wondering is if there's any workaround to cut out this middle man and perhaps allow a user to store their facebook login details in my application so that the app can perhaps log them in automatically by submitting these details to facebook when they access the app and they won't need to visit facebook to log in manually. Is there any way to do this perhaps in an invisible html component or something?

Yep the problem is I'm trying to cut out the part where the user gets taken to the login page altogether, my reasons for this being that:-
1. My app operates in full screen mode and navigating a user to internet explorer to sign in to facebook forces them out of full screen mode. I do have links to websites and we content in my app but these all simply bring up a html component containing the selected website within my application itself.
2. My client wants my app to be completely self-contained so obviously I won't be able to have it switch to internet explorer, it would be better if I could at least get the facebook login to open in the application in a html component rather than navigate to the web.
3. I'd also like to be able to save these login details in the app i.e. the user enters their username and password into my app similar to the way internet explorer allows and they are saved within the app for good until the user chooses to change them. I can't see this being possible though.

Not the usual 'login loop' problem, help.

The login loop problem I'm facing is not the usual login loop problem when starting up mac; it's when I'm trying to log into websites or applications (most of them, eg. facebook, instagram).
I have tried:
using other browsers: Safari, Firefox, Maxthon, Chrome
clearing all cookies / caches / keychains / passwords
repairing disk
deleting launchservices cache
using other userid to login
All to no avail.
How do I solve this without having to reformat/install mac?

Facebook login does not add user and password to the account

PROBLEM
Facebook login button does not create user and password for login.
We wish we could ONLY use facebook login button to allow users the account creation on our campus.
So we disabled the user creation webform.
And only out facebook login buttons that students can only login to our campus using their fb account in the hope that they dont share it (hopefuly)
AND
This is a problem BECAUSE if I publish events and capture leads ALL those users have problems creating their user account latter.
CASE IS
1.- A person comes to my website and leaves a comment. This creates a register with their email and name.
2.- Days later this same user comes back and clicks a facebook user login/ account creatio.
2.1 The page now shows that user name as it comes from Facebook. BUT NO USER AND PASSWORD information added to that person's register in the CRM.
So
If some one leaves a comment, register to our mailing list FIRST
and SECOND tries to create his account afterward. IT DOESNT WORK
Any ideas?

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

Null values from DB2 cause problems

Hi,
I have another problem with database link to DB2 using IBM iSeries Access for Linux on 64 bit OEL5 with Oracle Database gateway and unixODBC 2.2.14.
DB link works. However, null values from DB2 cause problems. Date columns that are null on db2 return a date '30.11.0002', and character columns that are null return an error ORA-28528: Heterogeneous Services datatype conversion error.
isql returns correct results.
How can i fix this? Perhaps set some parameters for data conversion on the gateway?

If the driver is not fully ODBC level 3 compliant and misses functions, we're lost. But sometimes the drivers are ODBC level 3 compliant but miss the correct 64bit implementation. In those cases we can tell the gateway to use the 32bit ODBC level 3 standard by setting in the gateway init file:
HS_FDS_SQLLEN_INTERPRETATION=32

I want to uninstall ReloadEvery as I think it is causing problems however it is not in my list of Extensions or Plugins yet it is clearly installed, I tried reinstalling FF but it was still there! How can I get rid of it?

I installed ReloadEvery a while ago and it seemed to be working fine however I am now having problems with FF crashing and weird things like pages not reloading and not being able to use the back button etc
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF and upgrading to FF 4.
When I upgraded to FF 4 I was still having problems even though I didn't have any Extensions installed at all, or so I thought. I noticed that ReloadEvery was still installed. I was rather puzzled as I had done a clean install of FF 4. I want to remove ReloadEvery to see if it will solve my problems.
I have also tried following the help on the FF Troubleshooting about manually uninstalling Extensions but again ReloadEvery not listed there yet I am still able to use it in FF!

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the <i>cookies.sqlite</i> file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

FF 3.6 AND 5 on same Mac, 1 profile - can I uninstall 5 without causing problems running 3.6 or with the profile?

I upgraded from 3.6.16 to 5, but don't like how 5 handles tabs (auto reloading 'problem loading' tabs when internet connection is reestablished). So I installed 3.6 in a separate folder, e.g. both versions are on this computer. I went back to using 3.6, and let it upgrade to either 3.6.18 or 19 (don't recall which & it's not open right now). I'm having problems with it using too much CPU & Memory, and not sure if that's a difference between 3.6.16 & 3.6.18/19, or if having 5 on the same computer even if closed could be causing the problem.
Can I uninstall 5 without causing problems with the 3.6 version and the single profile?

If you haven't tried this, give it a try. It worked for me, hopefully it will work for you. In your version 3 firefox, disable all extensions, I had two plugins (doubletwist and joost, disable those if you have them). Then install firefox 5 by overwriting your version 3 firefox. It should work fine after that. I tried everything before, I gave that a last ditch shot. Oh yeah, before you install firefox 5, clear your cache of everything just to be sure.

I have two Iphones with different email addresses sharing one Apple ID. Will that cause problems with using messaging and FaceTime?

I have two Iphones 5 with different email addresses sharing one Apple ID account.Both are using IOS 8.
I would like to set up a new Apple Id for one of the phones and remove it from the old account.
If I do that, can I move all of the purchased apps and songs to the new Apple account?
Also, will sharing one Apple ID account with two devices cause problems with using messaging and FaceTime?

Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address). While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud. You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account.

Note that you must have created a Facebook App on Facebook.com which provides the AppId number and set the App in "Sandbox" mode.

When using a web service proxy, you need to pass the data as an object, which' structure is defined in the web service proxy wrapper classes.
When you've defined a data control for your bpel process, you can just drag and drop the 'initiate'/'execute', your operation and bind this to the update-button.
When working with the proxy client, you need to populate your java class objects with the employee-object, this can be done in a backing bean or managed bean in your adf faces application.

Java 6 you can't as Apple maintains it, and Java 7 you could if you uninstall it and Oracle provides the earlier version which they likely won't his last update fixed 37 remote exploits.
Java broken some software here and there, all you'll have to do is wait for a update from the other parties.

TS3579 I found this useful because I did not know about the effect of typing in data and that you could only drag to rearrange the data. I had typed in data before and this had caused problems but restoring defaults did not cause correct dates to show up

I found this (TS3579: If the wrong date or time is displayed in some apps on your Mac Learn about If the wrong date or time is displayed in some apps on your Mac) useful because I did not know about the effect of typing in data and that you could only drag to rearrange the data. I had typed in data before and this had caused problems but restoring defaults did not cause correct dates to show up in Finder.

It sounds like there are a couple things going on here. First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance. Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error. If you get an error, post the error message your hitting. If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect. If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog. Ex: "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name. However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format. Ex: COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install. Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.
