Facebook Messages Notifications not clickable

When I receive a new message on Facebook, I click the notification tab on Mavericks notification center but then the message won't open on Safari. If I click any other tape of Facebook notification all of them open a new Safari tab, only messages aren't working. Is anyone having this issue too? This is only happening two weeks ago, basically since I've updated to OS X 10.9.4

Enter the notifications area on the Mac, scroll up slightly and it will expose the "snooze" feature to turn off alerts until tomorrow.

I tried with Firefox 4;5 and 6, same problem exist . I tried by active all add ons for facebook, same problem exist. If I use internet explorer , I don't find such problem with it.

Thanks a lot for your swift response. And sorry if it was a bit too hectic to go through my detailed query (which I did because it was misunderstood when I asked previously). As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

Facebook Push Notification Not Showing In First Setup after restored. Today i just restored my phone due to some laggy on my iPhone 5. But i realise every apps works perfectly asking would you like us to send push notifcation. Therfore, Facebook Don't. Notification centre managed to get it visible now. ButI readed many forum. No Solution for a fully fix. Any help ? Or it is blame of the facebook?

Yes, Facebook and Twitter are defined & enabled. I'm able to send out Tweets and Post to Facebook from Notification Centre.

Ios 8.1.2 message notifications not working

Hey guys,
so I have a problem with notifications. I don't get any for certain Apps.
Hardware: iPhone 5S
OS: iOS 8.1.2
App-Updates: All up 2 date.
Problem: messaging notifications aren't working for: WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram Messenger, Wire, BBM Messenger.
Problem description: I don't get notifications (Lock screen, on app notifications (red dots on the app), drop down notification center, sounds) for above named apps. Notification settings are set, background app refresh on all apps are activated. This also happens on wifi, so it's not a 3G only problem.
But notifications are working for: Instagram, Facebook Messenger (ew), tumblr, Twitter.
What I've tried so far:
- restarted iPhone
- reset App notification settings (disable, re-enable)
- reset App background refresh settings (disable, re-enable)
- uninstalled and re-installed apps
- in-App log out and log in again
- set ringtones (message tones) to standard
- leaving the app open in background (works only for Telegram)
Has anybody of you another ideas for me? Bc I'm already a little bit p*ssed off. I need at least the messenger notifications working and I'm running out of ideas. Every suggestion is greatly appreciated.
And I know that it might be a 3rd party problem but what I don't get is that Instagram for example wasn't updated and worked, but in contrast WhatsApp, Telegram and Wire were updated but notifications don't work, not at all for WhatsApp and Wire. Did Apple change something at the APNs? And why didn't such things happen when Steve was still alive? I'm already a little bit angry at Apple for all the problems in the last few months.
Anyways, like I said, every suggestion would be highly appreciated.

WhatsApp updated to version 2.11.15.348;
Problem is not resolved on my iPhone 4s.
This problen is not present on iPhone 4s of my wife with same configuration.

Facebook message notifications

When I go into Messages on the Facebook application, I just keep getting "loading messages" but no messages ever appear. I've also had a "Push notifications not working at this time" message on 2 occasions. Any advice please?

I'm not able to stop message notifications on the official website though. Everyone else i talk to says that by turning off the messages icon in account settings, it should work. But it's not Is there something I may be missing? am i able to turn off message notifications on the actual site?

Facebook & Mail Notifications Not Working

I recently got an iPhone 6 and for some reason both my Facebook & Mail notifications are not appearing on my lock screen. I have everything turned on in my Notification Center but they are still not appearing on the lock screen. Can someone please help me fix this??

Sorry this is not an Apple issue, but with Viber. I suggest you contact Viber directly, or do a forum search as this has been brought up numerous of time. I believe there also someone from the Viber team who posted in these forum, you should be able to find it in the search.
and when you get a hold of Viber, let them know that ****** you off .

Well as a bit of an update, the phone appears to have recovered partially but is in a bit of a mess. After three attempted boots that hung on the Progress Activity screen, and all had to be interrupted with a ten-second power press (no removable battery), the phone booted on 10.1.0.2309 - almost certain this wasn't the code it was running prior to my upgrade attempt, but happy to be proved wrong.
Unfortunately, the whole mobile GSM stack seems crippled. SIM recognition is OK, senses carrier, knows it's roaming, but cannot use Phone services, and Text Messages have completely disappeared from BB Hub which seems to repeatedly need restarting. Repeatedly removed/re-added SIM with no joy.
Wifi and the BB crypto stack seem to all be working because BBM works - hurrah - but otherwise I am a little hosed.
BB Link claims the device is broken and can't communicate with it, but offers to "restore" it. It tries for about a minute, resulting in the phone rebooting, but then claims that the repair failed for reason "BDSLSV2RequestURL" (nice diagnostics, guys).
On the phone itself, the Settings -> Software page is offering an OTA upgrade to 10.1.0.4181. I'm thinking it's probably my only path right now, but I'm not sure if I'm prepared to spin the barrell.
Any thoughts?

Facebook email notifications not organizing by thread

I have email notifications turned on for my Facebook account so I have a backup of them in my email instead of just relying on Facebook, and then I put them in my messages folder. But the problem is that they don't get organized by thread in the iOS Mail app and yet on the desktop version of mail they do. So Im thinking it's a problem with the iOS version of mail. And maybe not a problem on Facebooks end. And it's annoying everytime there's a new comment on a post and when I get a reply to a message each comment and reply show up as individual emails in my Inbox in the iOS mail app. I'm not sure about iPad but iTouch and iPhone running iOS 4.x definitely dont organize them by thread. All my other email notifications and stuff get organized by thread just fine. I'm not sure if it gets organized by thread in the MobileMe web app. I'll have to get back to this on that. Anyone have the same problem? And if so a fix. Or will we just have to wait till Apple and Facebook work it out.

If your account is set to push any time new email comes to the server as long as your device is connected to the internet it should come up with a notification based on your settings even if screen is locked. Sounds like you have it set to fecth new emails which you can set to manually (when you open up the mail app thats when it would check and download new emails) also depending on the mail account fetch might be the only option you have rather than push, you can change the time that the account will go fetch mail every 15min, 30 min, and hourly. Let me know if this helps at all.

7.1.2 Message Notification Not Working

So after an hour Googling, I couldn't find any solutions for this issue.
I recently updated to 7.1.2. Since yesterday I have not been getting any kind of notification for messages. No alert, no sounds, no banner, nothing in my notifications. The kicker is that the badge icon is not even working for the Messages app, even though I have 16 unread messages. It's working for other apps, though, including the phone, calender, candy crush, etc. So no notifications, no badge icon for Messages.
In Notification Center, everything is checked on for Messages, including the icon, sound, show in NC, show on lock screen, and Preview. Everything. In my Google quest I saw some things about Do Not Disturb, which I checked, I've never used it before and it's not on right now.
This is extremely frustrating, because I have not changed any settings since the update. It just stopped working. It's obviously annoying randomly looking at my messages and seeing a bunch of important messages from today that I had no idea were there.

Home power and home till it restarts and release after seeing the apple logo.
You can also tried to reset all settings under Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings.

E66 - New Message Notification not accurate

Not sure anyone having this problem with your E66 device. Whenever there's a SMS received, there will be a 'new message notififaction' shown on the main screen of the phone and there's a count showing how many unread SMS in bracket.
I got this problem where the Nokia PC Suite showing the Inbox is having more than hundred unread SMS but the phone is only showing 99 unread SMS. No matter how many SMS coming in, it still showing a maximum count of 99 SMS.
Anyone experienced this before? or is it a bug?

I don´t own an E51, this is just an informed guess: I guess that the counter for new SMS is set to two digits internally, so it can´t display a number greater than 99 even when the 110th SMS comes in. So, it is a limitation, but not exactly a bug as it´s uncommon for anyone to have more than 99 unread SMS in their inbox.

IPhone 4S ios7 message notifications not going away

My "messages" icon shows that I have 6 new messages but I've read them and they are still showing up as a little 6 in a red circle. I've done a reset of settings, a full restart and everything. I turned off my iMessages and nothing is working. They aren't iMessages they are text messages all from the same number.

This has happened to me twice after updating to ios7 on my iPhone 4s. Both times it occured after recharging the battery directly from a household electrical outlet. The first thing to do is to turn off the phone, and then turn it back on. This has worked for me so far.

See page 150 for restarting instructions. Basically, just turn the phone off. Wait a moment, then turn it back on.

IOS 6.1.1 update and facebook messages not working?

Since the iOS 6.1.1 update facebook messages are not working...anyone else having this issue? TYIA

Same thing for me after updating to 6.1.2. Facebook, gmail, and many US govt sites certificates have been declared invalid by iOS/Safari. And there is no way to accept and continue, just click "ok" and you are forever prevented from those sites.

FACEBOOK MESSAGE NOTIFICATION

Hi ! For about a week now, I'm not receiving facebook message notifications in my notification bar. I have to actually go onto the facebook application to see weather or not I have a new message. I've tried many things like a battery pull, logging out and logging back in, re installing facebook but nothing has seemed to work. It's really annoying because I communicate by facebook message a lot! A few times I had a message come up on facebook mentionning a '2001' error. I have the latest version of facebook which is v.3.3.0.11 Please can someone help !!

Used to drive me crazy too... where the heck is that ONE unread message???
If you have multiple mail accounts - check each one. If you "Save" e-mails, look in the saved e-mails list as well. I used to save e-mails without reading them, and that's what usually I found them.

Old Facebook Messages Restored with OS Updates

With every OS update (since I purchased my Q10), all goes smoothly except that my historical (previously deleted) facebook messages/notifications come flooding back into my Hub - read and unread, they all come back. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?

Your device is just syncing with all your emails, contacts and apps since OS update. Log out from your FB app and reboot your device. When it's on, connect to wall charger and remove the battery. Leave it for 20 minutes. It will resolve some apps error and incorrect battery meter. You may need to do this reboot within one or two days. Now login to FB app again.
It's quite weird, never happened to me.
