Facebook messenger troubleshoot

I am using 2G network. In messenger app, it is connecting to facebook but it always shows offline status of my friends eventhough some are online. Also mesaage sent through this messenger are not sent. Need some help.

Firstly, you posted this in the legacy BB Downloaded Apps board, while you have a BB10 device. But, I'm not quite sure where to ask for it to be moved.
Your subject line discusses FaceBook messenger...then, in the body of your message, you mention making calls. These seem like different things, so please clarify exactly which you are asking about.
Also, please be sure to reveal the complete (4 octets) OS level(s) of the device(s) in question, as well as the complete model number and carrier.

Facebook messenger freeze

Facebook messenger Freezes regularly. Can't type. Won't send. Have rebooted, have reset all settings, now even typing here requires dropping keyboard .
I have clam case Bluetooth keyboard but turned it off, also turned off Bluetooth in settings. That used to help. Sometimes it locks up here in this window . Had to restart this entry. I have to repeatedly drop the pop up keyboard to get it to work..

Facebook Messenger Random Crashes

I just recently bought the iPod Touch 5th generation. Since I've had it, the Facebook Messenger app crashes randomly. Is there any fix to this problem?

Move Facebook messenger sidebar to the right

I've just activated [https://www.facebook.com/about/messenger-for-firefox Facebook Messenger for Firefox] after updating to Firefox 17 for Ubuntu. To my surprise I now find the messenger sidebar (ticker and chat) on the left side of my Firefox window. On all articles about Messenger for Firefox I've seen on the Internet the sidebar is on the right side, and that's the way I want it.
Is there a way to move the sidebar to the right?

Wont let me install facebook, facebook messenger or spotify apps, i use to have facebook messenger and facebook app on my ipod and now its saying i have to upgrade to ios 6, but it wont let me upgrade!!!!!!

i use to have facebook, facebook messenger on my ipod touch, and recently i upgraded to ios and now it wont let me reinstall the apps, says i need to upgrade to atleast ios 6, but it wont let me ugrade to ios 6 says it has no upgrades, that the current version is the newest!!! this is crap... how can something work and then now it doesnt work when its suppose to be improved??

You can likely download the last compatible version by:
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

Facebook and Facebook Messenger message push notifications not working?

I have a 4th generation iPod touch running iOS 6.1.5 and an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4. On my iPod touch, Facebook and Facebook Messenger give me notifications for everything. On my iPhone, the Facebook app gives me every notification except for messages. Facebook Messenger, on the other hand, doesn't give me any kind of notification aside from the in-app notifications. I've been missing important messages on my iPhone because of this. I've set all notifications settings on my iPhone to "on." I turned on all the notifications settings in the notification center, the apps themselves, and even the Facebook integrated settings under Settings > Facebook. I also tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling, to hard booting, to logging in and out of the applications, and I even turned off Facebook platform on the computer. I was wondering if this has something to do with being online on both my iPod touch and my iPhone, but my mom has an iPad 3 (I think?) and an iPhone 5s and she never has notification problems. I've already tried Googling my problem up, but none of the solutions worked. I really hope you guys can help me. Thanks a ton in advance!

I've already tried reinstalling and restarting both devices. I now get comment notifications on my ipad but no chat and still nothing on my phone. I don't understand what happened. It was working 2 hours ago.

I accidently deleted my facebook messenger app. Now I can't get it to download the app again. It ask if I want to download an older version and I hit download but it doesn't download. Can someone help me with this problem?

I have not been able to use my micro SD card that I bought for my Acer iconia tab 8 from day 1 as it is not functional due to whatever changes that were made prior to boxing and shipping out to the public. On the box and in advertising it is listed as a feature which constitutes fraud in my opinion. And if there is some round about way of using it that is not good enough. You should be able to utilize the card slot/function just as you would if it were a camera or a laptop computer. Even though I have not been able to use it I have left it in my tablet and when I turned my tablet on I got a notification that it was damaged and to try to reformat it. It's funny that I can't use it but the tablet somehow damaged it! Double whammy! So what is Acer going to do to fix this situation for all of us who have purchased tablets with useless card slots? No excuses or be either. Consumers, like myself, are tired of being lied to and taken advantage of. Yes laptops and tablets are more affordable then ever but that does not mean quality and customer service should be null and void because we are getting such a good deal.

After last update facebook messenger is not working correctly

It's happening to 3 different people I know. Once they updated their phone, their Facebook Messenger Service is not working Correctly. They have already deleted and reinstalled the app.
Any suggestions? Is this last update known to cause this?

If deleting the app doesnt help you could try a back up and restore as new to determine a software or hardware issue. But if the app doesnt work on the iOS it is not the iPhones fault it is the apps. Apps are meant to be compatible and run on iOS not the other way around. If the app fails to run on the iOS it is something that would need to be taken up with the app developers.

Facebook messenger for Firefox doesn't show the chat tab

I don't like the sidebar taking a chunk from my screen space, so I unchecked "show sidebar", and the only things left were a small tab on the botom right corner on the screen, which you could click to expand and show your friends, much like Facebook chat when you don't have the sidebar active. But for some reason it's gone now and I can't find how to activate it again. The chat still works, if someone talks to me their chat tab will appear even when I don't have any Facebook tabs open; just the friends list tab is gone. How do I make it return?

Hmmm, apparently it integrates in a new way. You can try using either of these menu items to turn on the sidebar:
Firefox > Options > Facebook Messenger for Firefox
Tools > Facebook Messenger for Firefox (a sub-menu appears when enabled)
Then when you turn it off again, you get the sidebar-style list in the page. That doesn't seem to last forever; it might take some time to work out exactly how the feature works with the site.
