Facebook not uploading photos

I have the Tour, and this has been going on for over a week now. Everytime I try to upload a picture using the app, I keep getting the 1500 error. I upgraded to v1.9 as a beta user, and the problem is still going on. I'm on Verizon. Is this happening to anyone else? Is it possible I have a bad setting on something?

Same problem here - it's pretty widespread apparently. I've noticed other folk's photos doing the same thing. It just started yesterday for me.

Open iPhoto, and go to: iPhoto / Preferences / General
Here select Connecting Camera opens iPhoto.
With this setting iPhoto will open when you connect the camera, and show you what is on the camera. You can then select what you want to import, and whether to delete the imported pics off the camera.

Ipad will not upload photos to computer

Ipad 2 will not upload photos to computer. I recently installed windows 7 . This ipad 2 is a brand new replacement I received because the first one quit working. This was the first time I tryed to sync this particular ipad to this computer. I had success getting it to update apps.

You do not sync photos from the iPad to your computer. You import them. This has nothing to do with using iTunes at all.

Facebook not showing photos

Hi,
My Facebook app does not show photos, mine or other peoples, when in album view I get empty boxes and when I click to view a photo I get an ugly pixelated grey box with a cross in it - any ideas? I've checked the apps permissions on Facebook and it has access to my photos.

Thanks for posting your concern, Shailja61. Does it happen regardless of the connection you are using? Is the phone's software up-to-date? Are you also unable to see your Facebook contacts photos when you go to People hub? Did you already try updating all the system apps? To update it, scan the QR codes from this link: App updates.

Imac will not upload photos from my iPad

i have a new imac it will not upload my photo liobray from my ipad.
my old imac had a logic board failure and died after 20 months taking all my photos with it.
luckily i thought ,the photos had all synced to my ipad so i thought the only thing i had to do was plug in the ipad and put the photos back onto my computer but the imac is only picking up 5 random photos from the library
any ideas

If they synced through iCloud then those images are on iCloud and not really on your Pad. Log in to your iCloud account from the new Mac and they should sync down to your Mac.

Social not uploading photos to twitter

Lately I haven't been able to upload photos to twitter using the Social app, I realized it didn't upload them from the photo gallery and tried to do it from the app and got some error and a "try again later" message.
It does work for facebook tough.

ICLOUD NOT UPLOADING PHOTOS FROM PC

Hi,
I can not get the photos to upload from the PC to the Icloud. (and hence they are not on the Ipad)
I have checkied all the setup tick boxes as per the Icloud PC setup but it's still showing just over 1Gb.
And yes Im signed up for 20Gb storage space....

Same here - no upload button for me, too. OS X Lion, Safari 6.1.6. Trying not to take it as personal.

IPhone not uploading photos to iCloud Photo Library. Why?

I have 2 iPhones 6Plus's both fully updated. I have enabled them both to use iCloud Photo Library. One has synced up nicely, the other has not pulled any photos down from the cloud and says that it has 2,373 items to upload. Any ideas what could be preventing it? I have tried toggling iCloud Photo Library off and on with no success. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may not like this solution, but it's the last thing that the apple care support could offer.
Let's say you have a bunch of photos stuck on syncing...
Connect iPhone to a computer via the cable, set iPhone to Airplane mode
Use Photos.app and select your iPhone in the sidebar (enable the sidebar first)
Select the photos you want to import
Select "Import"
Now all your photos are downloaded from the iPhone and then uploaded to iCloud Photo library.
Delete the Photos on your iPhone manually, also from the "trash"
Disable airplane mode on the iPhone
Disable iCloud photo library in the settings of iCloud.
Log out of your iCloud account on the iPhone
Wait till all the photos on the iPhone are deleted as well... delete them manually, also from trash (make sure you have them all in the Photos app on your mac!)
Restart your Phone
Log into your iCloud again and enable iCloud photo library.
All the photos should sync.

Photostream is not uploading photo title

In iPhoto my pictures have custom titles that I have saved to the photo to replace the DSC_XXX originals. When I select these photos and put them in a PhotoStream they show in the PhotoStream with the original DSC_XXX titles. Why is the title reverting upon upload? I cannot find a setting anywhere regarding this. How can I ensure the custom title is uploaded as I see it in iPhoto?

You're confusing Titles and Filenames. iPhoto does not rename files, it adds titles. Titles are entires in the Exif metadata of the photo.

My powershot A590 will not upload photos to my computer. new laptop - Windows8

I recently purchased a new laptop. It has Windows 8. After 5 attempts, I finally have the Image Browser loaded and working. The issue now is that the computer does not recognize that there are photos on the camera to be uploaded. Have I missed a step? Am very frustrated.

Photos app not uploading photos

I upgraded Yosemite, getting the new Photos App, yesterday. I have 18,133 photos. So far, according to the progress bar in Preferences for the app, nothing has uploaded. I didn't see anything that specifically started the process. And it says "Uploading 18,133 items". But it has been saying that for almost 24 hours. Is there something to actually start the process? Or is this a server problem that Apple will eventually get caught up to?

I have about 1,200 photos and I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me.
I have an iPhone 6 an iPad and a iMac. I shut down all open and or running applications on all devices. I then rebooted all three devices. I then disabled sleep and auto-lock on all devices. I then opened Photos on all three devices. All 1,200 photos uploaded in about two hours.

Facebook app uploads photos to my wall instead of ...

I think this might be a straight-up bug. A friend of mine has the same, another friend of mine doesn't.
Whenever I upload a photo to a group using the Fb app, it is uploaded to my wall instead of the group. Microsoft might want to look into this. I actually have two Lumias, 920 and 900, and this applies to both.

Safari not uploading photo

Hi there,
I'm trying to upload a photo to classmates.com but it's just not happening.
My ADSL activity lights aren't lighting up while classmates is telling me to be patient and that the upload is in process. Which leads me to think that Safari isn't getting the file out.
I tried checking the cache and it's unlocked and set to read & write. I also emptied the cache. What else can I do?
I'm using Safari 2.0.4 (419.3).

I detailed what the problem was to their member support team. I wrote a good email, explaining the exact nature of the problem, where things had worked on their website (where I had got a picture to upload) and where things had not worked. This is what they said:

So I guess I'll just try again in a week or so! As I had suspected after the photo had been received by one part of their website, the problem wasn't with my settings in Safari, or in my System Preferences.
I'm one of their "free members" as well, so I don't pay any membership fees there. Perhaps if I was one of their "gold members" the technical issue might be resolved sooner, but in all likelihood the problem affects free and paying members.

My photos are not uploading photos to the cloud

Hi,
I migrated my iPhoto library to the new Photos. I did not turn the upload to the iCloud option because I didn't have sufficient storage.
Later I upgraded my iCloud to 200GB and I turned on the iCloud Photo Library option.
The problem is that Photos are spending long hours showing that it is updating iCloud photo but the process so far is 0%.
My Photos library is large, more that 100GB.
How can I copy my photo library to the cloud?

IPhone 5 Not Uploading Photos/Vids on iPhoto

I've connect my iPhone 5 to my laptop using the charing chord, and selected "trust the device" on my phone, but my iPhoto won't populate with photos and videos, even though it can read my device. I never used to have this problem. I need to upload videos to my laptop and can't access this content from my laptop via my phone.
Any suggestions?

Same problem with iPhone 4. Upgrade to IOS 7 and photostream only works if the photo is taken when the iPhone is connected to a wi-fi network.
If I take a photo outside, e.g. on holiday, the photo is not synced. Even when returning to the home wifi, the photos are not synced. On the iPhone, they never appear in the 'My Photo Stream' album.
At the moment, photostream only works for me if the iPhone is connected to the home wifi. I have reset the phone, turned off the camera, it is fully charged.
My conclusion, IOS 7 broke photostream.
