Facebook notification doesnt work.

if i press show on the notification it does nothing. im logged in to facebook in system prefs. i get the notifications appear in the notification centre but can do nothing with them. if i get a email one i can press open and it goes to that email. any thoughts?

I'm not sure why, but suddenly my Facebook notifications stopped working on my phone. Whenever my friends write on my wall or anything, I don't get a notification for it. Whoever, whenever I receive an inbox message on FB, then I receive the notification for it.
I tried doing a battery pull, I logged off then on, I checked for updates. But it still doesn't receive any notifications.

I've tried to restart, reinstall my facebook, update new version, set the sound on notification
But it wont work

If the videos are multiplexed MPEG files then the audio and the video are muxed onto the same track. QuickTime, and therefore any application that uses QT like iTunes, the iPod, iMovie (Mac app), etc. expect two separate tracks, one video and one audio. So when you play these muxed files, the video is played and the audio is not heard.

So you need to do a conversion on the file first. MPEG Streamclip is a popular one that comes in both Mac and Windows versions and is known to "repair" this problem.
See this other link for other applications that might be able to do the same thing. But your root cause is the muxed MPEG files.

Notifications doesnt work

Hi everybody, well, my problem is:
The notifications from apps like facebook, IM+, etc. Doesnt work, i dont know why. The notifications from these apps never work in my IPad, the only notifications that work are from the Mail. I dont know why the others not work, they are active in the notifications menu

Other question... Some 2 months ago the notifications from the apps Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp works perfectly in my IPhone 4, from day to day these notifications ceased to work with out any reason! I dont know what can be! :(

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appear. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem. Hopefully some others will provide more suggestions should this not work.

Facebook Notifications Stopped Working on iPad 3

The push notifications stopped working on my iPad 3 since yesterday. Anyone knows anything about it? All my settings is just the same as they were before. I didn't changed anything. I reinstalled the app several times, rebooted my device, i did EVERYTHING i could, but just the facebook notifications isn't working anymore.

You aren't the only one. I now have NO sound at all in FB with YouTube or even just uploaded videos. Surely we won't have to wait for an date!

There are bunch of people with the same problem on that forum. Advise to wait until new IOS comes out on 19.
When there are so many people with same problem, usually points to server problems, possibly updating or getting ready for IOS 6

I have tried Facebook, Instance, Viber. Nothing pops out in the lock screen. It seems only txt and phone calls only register to Lumia 925. I am on 3G/4G LTE connection and even on the wifi it doesnt pop out. Why is it like this? Any social thing doesnt come out

I'm also having thesame problems now.
My phone used to work brillaintly, but then had a fault and I had to restore it back to its factory settings. Since then, the push notifications no longer work.
And I have double checked the settings. Also manually checked/activated the notifications in each individual app that uses them. But nothing seems to be working.
Very frustrating as I have friends around the world and we often communicate via Facebook or What'sApp and it was easy before - because I would receive FB messages like they were text messages, but they don't come through now.

yeah But the issue with only Wechat,Fb,LINE apps but Whatsapp works perfect though the data is turned on after 10 days,it shows the notifications within less than a minute with out actually opening the app

I have not been getting any push email notifications, the device does not seem to be receiving any mail unless I fetch it manually or wait for the 15 min fetch schedual. Also, I am not getting any of the integrated twitter notifications. Any possible fix?

Level 1 Notification Not working on Folder Emails.

Hello Everyone
I am in a strange situation where my Level 1 Notification doesnt work.
Not working.
1. If there is an email which comes into my inbox and if there is a rule which is set on my Lotus Domino (Desktop) to save a copy in lets says XYZ folder then the filter added on my BB doesnt works.
2. If i sync a paticular folder of Lotus Domino (Desktop) I am able to see the emails in that folder however if I set a Level 1 notification on these emails then those emails are just getting red with 1 vibrate and no sound ( no matter what tone i choose ).
Working :
1. Level 1 notification set on paticular email address ( if there is no filter criteria set on Desktop ).
To better make you understand i have a Automatic folder on my desktop where all priority tickets emails comes 4,3,2,1 however if its 1 it gets copied to Sev1 folder. Now i am trying to sync this Sev1 folder on my BB so that whever there is Sev 1 ticket opened i get a notification but this bugger is just getting red and no sound.
Guys Please help !! Any suggestion would be appreciated

I believe this is a known bug. It should be fixed in a future version of Firefox OS. Make sure to keep your phone updated when updates become available.

Not receveing Facebook notifications OS X Yosemite

Suddenly my Facebook notifications stopped working and I can't get them to work again. I've removed the Facebook account from Internet Accounts prefpane and add it again, but still don't work. Anyone with the same issue or any solution?

It works fine with latest Adobe AIR Runtime (this week update).

I have activated the facebook integration in the OS X 10.8.2 . But i'm not getting facebook notifications in the notification centre.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again
