Facebook ::: (NSURLErrorDomain error -1.)

Hi,
from few days each time that I go to www.facebook.com I display a message such as:
+Safari non può aprire la pagina.+
+Safari non può aprire la pagina “http://www.facebook.com/”. L'errore è: “Impossibile completare l'operazione. (NSURLErrorDomain errore -1.)” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1) Scegli Safari > Comunica problemi ad Apple, annota il numero dell'errore e descrivi ciò che hai fatto prima di visualizzare questo messaggio.+
I've already try to update to Safari 5.0.1, delete history, cache, cookies.
Have you any advice?
Regards.

HI,
Open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities) Select Passwords on the left.
Delete your Facebook keychain.
Relaunch Safari, login into Facebook with your username and password. Click Yes when prompted.
If that didn't help, you may have the Facebook plugin installed.
In a Finder window select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Now on the right open the Library folder, then the Internet Plug-ns folder. Move the fbplugin file to the Trash and relaunch Safari.

  • Please, how do I resolve "The operation couldn't be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1.)"

An up to date Air, w/ OSX 10.7.5, returns this error in "Iphoto" when attempting to share an image to facebook. Any suggestions?  Thank you.
I unselected this as a question here and posted it to the IPhoto discussion instead.

    Hello,
I have this same error message  NSURLErrorDomain error-1  I cannot upload photo from iPhoto to Facebook.  How did you resolve this issue?  Many thanks

  • NSURLErrorDomain error -1 uploading to Flickr

I was able to upload to flickr at one point in the past but it doesn't work anymore, using iPhoto 11 (9.1 (475)) I get the error: "The operation couldn't be completed NSURLErrorDomain error -1" when I try to share to Flickr. I tried several things to fix it: Repairing permissions in disk utility, Removing my flickr and iphoto keys in keychain access, adding and removing my flickr authorization, using a new user profile on my machine, using a different machine. Nothing can share to my Flickr account.
The only way I can get the error to go away is if I use a different Flickr account. This leads me to believe there is an issue is on the flickr side (account/api). My suspicion is that since my account on Flickr is pretty old, the API call fails because of a domain or redirect issue.
If anyone has experienced this please let me know. I am going to contact flickr but I thought the more information I can gather to help my case to shed light on the issue will help.
Also more debug information from iPhoto would help greatly, by launching it in debug mode somehow so I can actually get a stack trace of the iPhoto calls or error output from the Flickr API.
    Thank you.

I got this error the first time I tried to upload a photo to Facebook with iPhoto 9.3.2 which I just purchased. Restarted iPhoto and it worked. I sure would like a list of all of Apple's numeric messages. Probably a login failure of some sort.

  • Error report (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.)

when I share a video from Final Cut Pro to Vimeo it fails and generates an error report (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.). What does this mean and how can I resolve this?

Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:
    kextstat -kl | awk '!/com\.apple/{printf "%s %s\n", $6, $7}'
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V).
Post any lines of output that appear below what you entered — the text, please, not a screenshot.

When I try to send a photo to facebook an error message comes up.  It says to try again later which I have done several times.  The same error message comes up.  I have sent photos before and didn't have this problem and don't know why there is one now.

    Hi there!
Yes, same problem too; I've already sent an email to apple support and just received a very vague and unpractical response with "call apple support in your country" as main advice. I've obviously emailed back stating that I need a clearer response and I don not have any intention to spend money calling for support when updates is a free tool. I do also believe this is a probem generated on Apple's end, I just wish they learned to say "sorry, it's us;  working on it!"

An affifilate company has a website that has a website with a number of web pages, each containing a number of hyperlinks to pdfs. I am trying to create an Automator workflow that allows me to download the linked files on a particular page. I am using "Get Current Webpage from Safari' then "Get Link URLs from Webpages" and finally "Download URLs" to a specific file. I keep getting the error Could not download...(NSURLErrorDomain error - 1100.) On some pages it works fairly well. On others it doesn't download a single file and gives this error.
Please could someone offer some advice as this is really beginning to frustrate me.

I contacted Apple over the same thing and was advised it was a known issue and was being worked on by the Engineers. They said there was nothing to do but wait and try again over the next few days. Within 24hrs I could update again...do you still have the issue or did it also get resolved without you doing anything?
