Facebook on Ipad won't connect to server

I have tried to replace the password for facebook on my ipad. In doing so i can no longer log into it on the ipad. I have logged in with new password
on desktop but the app won't let me log in. "Can' connect to server is the message i get." help tried deleting app but i don't know if it is completely deleting
as it still stores old log in but get the message when i try to plug in new password

Try Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All WiFi passwords will have to be entered again and all networks will have to be joined again.

My ipad suddenly started showing the message cannot connect to server although wifi is working and ipad shows a signal. I even brought it to another location with wifi signal and am getting the same error msg.

I think you have to turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

Email won't connect to server? Was working fine.

Woke up this morning and my iPad won't connect to my email server all of a sudden. I've followed all of the advice about deleting the account, turning off the iPad, and re-adding the account, to no avail, is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Ipad won't connect to the app store. I have reset dns and reset settings. I have tried changing the date but it still wont connect.

The problem is on Apple's server side, I have had some intermittant issues.
They will likely resolve it shortly.

I had the same problem after updating to iOS 7 today. I did follow the advice on another site, but additionally rebooted my iMac. Worked after that.
Follow these steps to reset the Lockdown folder:
Disconnect all iOS devices from your computer and quit iTunes.
From the Finder, choose Go > Go to folder.
Type the following and then press Return:
/var/db/lockdown.
The Finder window should display one or more files with long alphanumeric file names.
In the Finder, choose Edit > Select all. Then, choose File > Move to Trash. Enter an administrator password if prompted.
Note: Do not delete the Lockdown folder itself. Delete only the files contained inside the Lockdown folder.
Reconnect your iOS device and open iTunes
My Additional step: reboot the Mac. Your iPad should give the first indication that it has worked by asking you to "trust this computer" or some such. Agree. Then iTunes should have reopened with your iPad showing and syncing.

Hi, I was using my Ipad one day on the inrternet and it stopped connecting. It hasn't connected yet. I have wiped it reset it and all of the above but it still won't connect.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I took my ipad out for the day and when I got home it won't connect to my home hub. Says it is in settings but then the status icon just keeps turning round and there is no internet. Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.
