Facebook posting making new multiple bars on left panel

Everytime I post an album to facebook a new facebook icon bar on left panel is created. Is this correct? The bar has the facebook icon as well as arrow to expand with only one album listed under it. I cannot imagine having endless bars for facebook as I upload albums. How do I correct this path.
Also it doesn't show a wall post place as I saw on a tutorial. there is only an option to amke albums. What if I want to post a single photo to my wall?

How are you adding the new albums? You should just right-click on the existing Facebook icon bar and choose Create Collection - then you get a dialog like this, where you can create a new album or link to an existing one.

As I understand, you would like to improve discussion board to display all posts on a single page with comments.
There is no OOB option to customize discussion board. However, there are workarounds:
You could create a site with Blog site template, and it could meet your requirement. More information about Blog site:

Only in firefox, it doesnt have my status bar in facebook, it has a a bar where you have to click status, post, picture. It doesnt do that in explorer

Thank you Klaus1.The large font, I copied and pasted from my mail box.I'm visually impaired...not to a huge degree but it helps to use the large font.I believe you are right about the copyright on the imac stuff but if facebook decide otherwise, you have to reply electronically to their challenge.If you can't provide a reference directly from the copyright owner then they remove the video.I believe this is a programmed response and no human is involved which now makes it impossible for me to get my video uploading restored.They detect added soundtrack automatically and then challenge.There are many others in the same boat and facebook will not communicate.They have various discussion sites on which I have left messages including Mark Zuckerbergs own facebook but I don't think anyone from facebook ever reads them.I intend to start a second facebook which I can use purely to get my videos uploaded as a lot of my friends enjoy them BUT don't want fall foul of their programming again.If only iMac would put something on the net to this effect.I think it is so unfair that with modern technology it is impossible to contact these large conglomerates personally and receive an email response.I tried emailing [email protected] but I got a failure notice.If you have any ideas on how to get verification from apple direct, I would be very grateful.Thank You.

I've created new User account on my PC for separate itunes library/account. Have had to change apple id to do this. When I connect to pc, itunes opens with CDs I've already loaded, but it doesn't recognise ipod. No left panel opens with devices. Help!

Can anyone help? Two ipods with originally one itunes library and (I think) same Apple id). Now need 2 Libraries with separate account for separate buying etc. Recommended I create new library on separate PC User account which I have done together with new apple id. I have added this apple id to the ipod needing separate account. When I hook up, I can't sync. No 'Devices' left panel appears at all. I'm at a loss here so any help woudl be great. Thanks.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Click to Tweet and Facebook Posts from Notification Center Stopped Working????!

Ok right now I am REALLY confused. About a week ago, I went to post something on twitter. Naturally, instead of having to go to twitter.com and signing in, I used the Notification center "Click to Tweet" button to make my post. It worked just as you would expect. The little screen popped up, I typed my post and tweeted it.
Just a few days ago, both the Tweet and Facebook Post buttons stopped working. I can click on them all I want, but the little index card-like screen never shows up. I don't know what the issue is, since I had both buttons working a few days ago. To try solving the issue I:
1. Went into the settings for notifications and "Hid" the buttons from Notification center (that didn't work)
2. Removed both my accounts from my laptop and re-added them (that didn't work)
3. Checked to see that the password was correctly typed in... it was (and that still didn't work)
The only thing I have left to do is try shutting down my laptop and restarting it. However I recently had some iPhoto software updates that required the laptop to be restarted. Even though this was after the problem started, it still didn't fix it.
One more thing to note is that in Safari where the "Share" button is... that still works fine. I shared a website I was on to Facebook and it posted successfully. The only problem is the functions in Notification Center.
If anybody has a solution to this issue where the Tweet and Facebook Post buttons stop functioning for Notification center, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

NOTE- One other thing. Notifications from Facebook and Twitter still work, however. For instance, I just got a friend request approved on Facebook and that appeared as it should with the little banner notification as well as it appearing in my list of notifications. Somebody re-tweated my tweet and that appeared there too. The only thing that isn't working is the posting features.

Same thing with me but the Safari thing also doesn't work. I recently changed my twitter username so I thought that might be the problem, but no it isn't. Unfortunately, I can only complain with you, not help you, I apologize, Dan!
What computer+ Mac os are you using? I am MacBook Pro with 10.8.4?

HDV batch capture is making new clips...

thanks for watching...
i have imported batch lists into FCP with name, media start, media end, reel and log note just as the FCP manual instructs. they import fine and i have them all in their own bins.
i batch captured a few tapes to day and i noticed that FCP is making new clips at times. for instance i'll have a clip "dogs" in the original batch list. after the batch capture there will be "dogs" and "dogs -1" the starting time code of "dogs" and the ending timecode of "dogs -1" are the original start and end of the clip. so, FCP has spit this clip in two for some reason. why is that?
i thought it might have to do with the setting "make new clip on Start/stop" thats listed in the clip settings tab of the log/capture window. so i made sure this was unclicked and then tried another batch , also making sure to uncheck "use original clip settings" in the batch window. but, the problem still persists.
i have 30 tapes to digitize and i'd prefer the clips matched the batch lists. any ideas i can try to solve this problem?

Is it a new media drive?
how is your media drive formatted? highlight the drive on the desktop and press command(apple)+i to get info...
Where it says 'Format' it should read Mac OS Extended... does yours say FAT 32 by any chance?
FAT32 is a different format that can be read by PCs and Macs... it can only store file sizes of 2Gb, so has the knock-on effect of causing FCP to break captures into smaller chunks.
If your drive is FAT32 you need to re-format it using Disc Utility. When you do this, you will lose everything on that drive, so back it up if possible.
If your drive is formatted correctly, post back with your media set-up, ie - what drives you use, how is your capture scratch configured etc.

You see, I'm left handed and when I use the scroll bar that is on the right side with the left hand I don't actually see the content of the page, because my left hand is covering the screen (I'm browsing the internet in tablet mode and I use the pen to navigate between pages).
My system is a Tablet PC with Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005 and Adobe Reader 9.3.2.

Hi People,
I'm sure most of you have noticed the new tab buttons on the top of the page. And chances are you've also seen the new search bar and how it works much like "Spotlight" does.
I'm trying to understand how it actually works but unfortunately the source code doesn't offer much in lessons.
If you know anything please post it so that all those interested could learn as well. And if you havn't checked it out yet, you'll find it's fantastic in operation. Although a few Win users have reported a site crash while using IE (must be a problem with the browsers code

Making a moving bar

I'd like to make a box move back and forth in a bar. I know this sounds vague, but I'll try to draw a picture:
|                   [ ]                 |Now, I want that [ ] to move back and forth a varying speeds as I want to make a game where you have to try to press a button as it is in a specific area, kind of like this:
|        [ ]   |    here    |           |So when the box passes through that area and the player presses a button, they will get a point. Now, my question is, how do I go about to making that? As of now, my idea is very inefficient but I'll explain it anyways.
I'll make several images of this bar and box with the box in a different position each time. Then I'll make a loop with a timer and it'll go through to make the box go one way, switch to another loop and make it go the other way. When the player presses a button, it'll record what number the loop is at (like a for loop for example, and the counter) to determine if it's in the area or not. As the player consecutively hits the area, the timer's increments will be changed.
Now, I assume there's a easier way, but I could be wrong. If there's another way to do this, could someone just explain how to do it? Thank you very much in advanced.

Go to System preferences, and click on Mail, Contacts & Calenders. Click on Facebook and sign in.
Then go back to Notifications and you will see it now says '...share button allows you to post to Twitter and Facebook' --- Check your notification center.
