Is anyone else having problems on facebook. Recently ? I can no longer LIKE anything on facebook.. on my iPad .. But noticed when I get on my dell no problem at all

Facebook seems to have recently changed the coding on their page. It seems to have issues with mobile browsers but not with regular browsers (as in on comptuers). There are also mixed reviews if those issues are also in their app or third party apps.
There's nothing wrong with your device, it's on facebook's end and no idea when/if they'll fix it. Most you can do is find a work around. Some have reported success with third party apps.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until the device restarts, so you will be able to use the iPad again.
It will try to make a backup every time your iPad is plugged to the charger and connected to a network. To prevent that this message appears soon, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and choose Backup Now

Facebook problem ipad

For people that can't sign in using their Facebook account on iPad solution is:
On your iPad go to settings
Go to the last option reset
Reset only your networks and privacy settings
Delete and install a new fresh version of Facebook app
That should do it .You should be able to login into Facebook again
Note: because you reset your network settings you need to sign in into your wireless again

Problems deactivating Facebook on my ipad

I am attempting to deactivate Facebook on my ipad. I have deleted the account in Settings. Now everytime I access my contacts I get an error message askng me to login to facebook. help!

I found a solution. You have to reinstall facebook, sign in, then turn off Contacts access. Then you can delete facebook and all is well

When I click on an icon to open up a game, facebook, etc., my ipad goes immediately back to the main screen. It's charged so I don't know what is wrong.

When I try to go to a game, facebook, etc., my Ipad tries to open it and then goes back to my home page. What is causing this. The battery is charged.

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I keep getting network error on Facebook on my iPad

My Facebook was working fine on my Wi Fi but in the last week I keep getting network error when trying to logon to Facebook from my iPad & iphone 5s. I have time warner road runner digital cable. How do I fix it?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. I am unable to access my Facebook account on iPad mini. When ever I try to login, it says go to setting and there i am asked to renter the password. After entering the password nothing happens, neither the option of done gets activated and nor anything happens automatically.
But when I press the return button, it says that "Error: we are unable to connect to sever".

No Report Problem on IPad 2

My facebook on IPad 2 fail updated the pages after I got notification and I try to send report a problem. They are no report problem where I can find? I have use my iphone to submitted report problem.

To report a problem on ipad you have to log into your account online and go to purchase history. Good luck though . Apples "report a problem" is a total joke. and If you bought it your already scammed and done.

While I'm using facebook in my iPad with Safari browser,sometimes it will just switch to main menue.It also happened with the Facebook apps from the apple store. And the color of the bookmark area becomes black instead of a normal grey color.

Then if you have tried all the browsers try connecting the system to yoour router with an Ethernet cable and turn WiFi off. If you have the same problem then it more then likely after your computer, Router or modem or connection from your ISP.
If you get good browsing with the Ethernet cable then it is either the WiFi card in your Mac or the WiFi system in your router.

Das ist üblich so bei den Apps, nicht immer sind Updates gut, das ist sehr Wichtig, wenn du siehst daß das App Fehlerfrei funkt und keine Störungen sind, geht alles was du machst, sehe ich eigentlich auch kein Grund um Upzudaten.
Nun zu deinem Problem, Tipp von mir so wie ich das gemacht habe: App Deinstallieren dann bist du auch Apgemeldet.
Facebook nutze ich auf dem Flash Browser "Puffin" Mit Apps kann ich nix anfangen, die sind oft fehlerhaft.
Probier das mal und gib bescheit ob es geklappt hat

Facebook problems with new macbook pro. I can't publish photo albums to timeline. I can't share items onto timeline. Photos I'm tagged in don't appear on my timeline. Any help?

Yes! Been living in a hellish nightmare since Sept-Oct. Unlike you, however, Apple has been of no help. They say the iPad is unhackable, plist and crash reports are none of my business and who understands them anyway, their route tracing apps are probably not reliable. The best they could do was wipe the iPad clean. Lost photos they said would be in the cloud....
Almost immediately was back in somebody's VPN, their remote controller, video, audio, working. Got the purple buddy for the first time today. I have been invaded, my iPad no longer feels like my own, I have lost thanksgiving, Christmas, new year trying to track down the invaders, signed up for a Cisco course, set/reset passwords.
I don't know who else to contact... Or what next to do.
I've read similar frustration in other posts, scattered around the support communities. Yours is the only one that has worked toward a solution.
How did you get anyone at apple to look at your logs and acknowledge there is a problem?
Would be happy for a suggestion on how to proceed. Already been the apple store genius and tech on phone route.
