Facebook push notification

Hello!
My facebook push notification where working fine! Really good we can say! Till someone log me off to log into his account! And when I reloged mine, my notification from facebook stoped working! And just for facebook! All other are fine!
I already reintalled the app and rebooted the phone couple of times and still the same. To see something, I have to go inside the app!
Its an iPhone 4 running 5.1.1
This problem is just happening on the iphone cuz' im still getting the notification just fine on my iPad.

This have SOLVED all my notification problem:
Go to ios Setting/Mail,Contacts,Calendars/Fetch New Data: set Push to ON (my was set to off)
Scroll down to Advanced and set icloud to Push (my was set to manual)
I deactivated all this settings because of battery drain, but after this, all works fine.
That's all.
Be sure that all Facebook notification settings are active in the Notifications window.

Facebook Push Notification Not Showing In First Setup after restored. Today i just restored my phone due to some laggy on my iPhone 5. But i realise every apps works perfectly asking would you like us to send push notifcation. Therfore, Facebook Don't. Notification centre managed to get it visible now. ButI readed many forum. No Solution for a fully fix. Any help ? Or it is blame of the facebook?

Yes, Facebook and Twitter are defined & enabled. I'm able to send out Tweets and Post to Facebook from Notification Centre.

Facebook push notification issues

I have recently converted to an iPhone 5C. I was previously on Android and never had this issue before.
I have followed step by step instructions and have successfully installed other apps such as twitter, bbm, whatsapp and am able to receive notifications.
For some reason I cannot get any push notifications from Facebook on my device. Everything has been checked and rechecked. I have spent hours on the phone to tech support who also contacted Apple for guidance. Friends who also have the same handset have also had a look but cannot see what is causing the issue.
It has been left for me to contact Facebook but they do not respond separately so am not confident that I will get a response from them. I have been left to deal with this on my own.
We have restored the phone to factory settings to see if this makes a difference and also gone through the notification settings on the iPhone and app settings. All is normal!
Can anyone please help?

so when i use facebook app with my account push notifications stop working however when i use it with an other accounts, they do work normally any solution please?

Push notifications for specific apps not working even though the badge updates (Facebook, Google etc.)

So this has been happening for months now. I was expecting iOS 5 to fix it, but it hasn't. Push notifications for specific apps do not work. Some come through just fine, but Facebook and Google+ in particular don't work correctly. Facebook push notifications seem to work when the notification is generated from an action performed on a mobile device (ie: someone writes on my wall from another iPhone); if they do the same thing on the desktop, the notification doesn't seem to come through.
As for Google+, I've never seen a single push notification come through as it should, even though I've seen other iPhones with the same app reciving these notifications with no issue.
This is particularly strange because the badge on the app icon usually updates (though it feels like fetch, not push), but the notifications simply don't make it into the notification center (or on the lock screen as they should). As I said, this has been happening for months, long before iOS 5, and the problem has persisted now that I'm running iOS 5.
I've checked and rechecked all notifiation settings for these apps. I've uninstalled and reinstalled them. I've called Apple support and they couldn't offer me any help. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I got an iPhone 4s and I'm experiencing the same problems. I used facebook messenger, and used to get the push notifications to that app, but now that i've deleted it I no longer get the messages directly to the facebook app.
I have push on in the mail settings and notification center for facebook are on as well. I also have push notifications on in the settings for facebook.
I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling, no fix. I haven't tried a hard reset yet.
So far, I figured out that it's not iOS or the facebook app, somehow it is a problem with my account. I logged into my wife's account on my iphone and her account is able to recieve push notifications to my iphone.
Any thoughts?

Facebook and Messenger app Push Notifications not working.

I have an iPhone 3GS and iPad 2 and my Facebook app and Messenger Push notifications just decided to stop working literally minutes after it just did. How can I fix this? I am running the lastest version of iOS 7 on my iPad and 6.1 on my iPhone. Please, help. I've googled this but there was only one page on the Facebook site that was unhelpful. Thanks, in advance.

I've already tried reinstalling and restarting both devices. I now get comment notifications on my ipad but no chat and still nothing on my phone. I don't understand what happened. It was working 2 hours ago.

Facebook -Push & email Notifications not working since u/g to v5.1

Is anyone else experiecning issues with setting up new Push notification for facebook on their iPhone?
I have iPhone5 running iOS 6.0.1 and upgraded to Facebook Version 5.1.
(I also have the older version of Facebook within iTunes on my mac and if I re-install this the same thing happens)
From within the Facebook app, BookMarks>Account Settings> Notifications> Manage Push Notifications.
When I try and check a box to enable a notification the tick doesn't stay but I get a message "Changes Saved". This happens when I select one box or when I try to select multiple boxes at once to check. I think that there may be a bug within this Facebook App?
Can anyone else using Facebook give this a try and see what happens for them?
On Facebook.com if I try and enable Email Notifications the same things happens there.
(The only time that I receive a notifcation is via the world icon when i'm in the app or on the FB.com)
I have reported this to Facebook but would also appreciate your answers of what could be causing this.

Hello -
It looks like you have two problems. The first problem with respect to email is that you do not have a "from address" specified in the server properties. I believe that is the address that the mail component is complaining about.
Also -> you seem to have a problem where the a backend Form Manager component is failing to retrieve information for that particular task (this error: Lock obtain timed out). hopefully after resolving the first issue above this will cease.

Facebook For iOS App Push Notifications Not Working

Been seeing a lot of Threads for this problem but with no proper solution.
Ever since I updated my Facebook App to v9.0, I havent had any push notifications come to my phone. I've tried uninstalling/deleting the app & other connected apps (Paper, FB messenger) , logging out of the iOS integration, Resetting my phone, etc. but nothing's worked. The App doesn't even ask me if I want to Activate Notifications anymore when I Re-Install it....
The Phone Notifications are set to show in the lock screen & all, and the Push Notifications in the app are set to push for "All Notifications", but On the Web client I noticed that I had "Some notifications" listed in the settings (and I can't change those on the web, because it tells you to change them in the app) . The only way I know i have Notifications now is through the App Badge,, via Email or through Paper's Notification setup (But i still dont get all of them) ...
I wonder if it could be a server issue on Faceobook's End. There has to be some way to fix this problem....Help!!!

If you're not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Verify that the app supports notifications.

Check Settings > Notification Center to ensure that the app is configured for notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.

I have done too many things have updated my facebook application but still it is not showing any push notification. Is there any settings that i need to do for it? Also it is not allowing me to show on mobile in facebook. Any one here can help?

ok for facetime and imessage go into settings turn them off make sure to make an icloud backup and then go to settings general erase all content and settings and then set it up from the backup it should activate your imessage and facetime

My facebook app has stopped updating and send push notifications while not open. How can I fix this?

My iphone facebook app just recently stopped sending push notifications when I receive messages. It doesn't even show the little red circle on the icon.
If I open the app all updates will be loaded and when I close out the icon will have the little red circle indicating the amount of unread messages I have. It will not update while the app is closed though.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Check your Notification Center settings (in the Settings app) to see if you have Facebook blocked on anything.
If not, just delete the App, reboot your phone, then reinstall from App Store.

Delete the FB app. It ***** anyway. LOL
Seriously, obviously the FB app is causing havoc on your phone. Delete it.
Then back up your phone to iTunes.
Make sure the FB app is not checked in iTunes so it won't go back on your device.
Restore (as a NEW PHONE) This puts on new firmware and not your corrupted data.
Plug back in to get your data back (except FB)
Re-download FB app from App Store->Updates->Purchases

Have you considered not using FaceBook and not being involved in all that minutiae? Do you really want to know when someone has tied their shoes?

Don't get push notifications of group posts on Facebook anymore on my iphone. I do get them on my macbook so they are turned on.

Help I don't know if this is a facebook or an iphone problem:
All of the sudden I don't get push notifications of group posts anymore on my iphone. I do get them on my macbook so they are turned on. I still get notifications of comments on my posts and comments on post where I commented before. I also get notification about messages I am getting but not when somebody posts something new in a group. Checked my settings and when I click on the group name on my phone the push notifications are turned on and when I edit them it says all posts and send push notifications to my mobile device is checked. In the drop down menu in settings it is checked where it says group posts and comments. In my phone settings in notifications it says notification centre on, show 10 items, banners and everything else is on. Any ideas what else to do???? This is so frustrating!

Okay. Try checking "manually manage music and videos", and then click the flippy triangle next to your device. Then select the items you want to delete and just press Delete on your keyboard.
Uncheck when you're done.

Safari - re adding Facebook to push notifications

I am having this issue too! Just posted a question regarding this.
I own a 5C and spent hours on the phone to tech support who also contacted Apple but they say it's a Facebook issue and was told to contact them direct.
Facebook do not respond to individuals so I'm concerned that we are not going to get a solution. Apple don't seem bothered!
I switched from android recently and never had this problem......strange!
