Facebook's Bejeweled Blitz needs refreshed after every game since I downloaded the new Firefox 4 yesterday. Thanks for any help you can give.
Try to reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

Firefox becomes completely unresponsive after loading Bejeweled Blitz on FaceBook.
It is the only place it has occurred. I like to play and so does wifey. '''Sometimes''' the game will load (without hanging) and as soon as you click on anything within the game box (except the spin button) it freezes and hangs. It doesn't report it to Mozilla that I am aware of and the only generated report is to Microsoft.
I am running Win7 64-bit, Firefox 3.6.10 with full updated plug-ins.
The only thing I have found that will "sorta" get around this is defining the 'dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs' in the about:config down to -1. I don't know what this will do with other sites and its still not a real fix for this problem, as it seems to repeat after a reload of the page.
I have tried a reinstall of Firefox; scanned computer for viruses; tried the troubleshooting suggestions; turned off all of my extensions.
This problem only occurs when loading Bejeweled Blitz on FaceBook, and nowhere else that I have experienced so far.You know what? I finally figured it out. I got an error message about AutoPager. I disabled it and the problem went away.
I would like to know though, how did it happen? I have had AutoPager longer than I have been playing Bejeweled Blitz.
The error message said something about a script not loading properly on the page. If you took the time to read this, thanks for your attention, and sorry to have wasted anyone's time.
It figures, I have a problem with it for a few weeks now and as soon as I ask about it, I find a solution. What a crock. -
I am having trouble with my sound for bejeweled blitz game
I need help with my game apps that I am using from Facebook, why am I having still problems when I set my bejeweled blitz game on sounds. It will not work.
1. Double-click the Home button and swipe Task Bar to the right
2. Check the volume and mute settings

I have tried to get help on Bejeweled Blitz site but no answer. Could the Firefox 5.0 be incompatible with the Bejeweled Blitz game on Facebook??
You can't use code in userChrome.css to make changes to the Bookmarks menu on a Mac.<br />
On a Mac the OS creates and maintains the menu bar (incl. the Bookmarks menu) and Firefox doesn't have control over the menu bar, so you can't style that menu via userChrome.css.<br />
You can style the drop down menu of the Bookmarks Menu button.
Your only option is to shorten the names of bookmarks that have (too) long names via the Properties (right-click context menu) or in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)

Bejeweled Blitz game running real slow, how do I speed it up?
I don't have a problem with the Bejeweled Blitz game loading up, it's when I start to play the game. When I move my cursor over the 'gems' there is always a delayed reaction. It used to be much faster when I played months ago, but now it's so sluggish that I don't even like to play it anymore ~ and this is the only game I play on Facebook. One of my friends suggested it might be related to my 'wireless' mouse, but I never had that problem & I've had the 'wireless' mouse for almost a year now. This delayed reaction with the Bejeweled Blitz game started a few months ago. I'm not sure what version of Firefox I'm running. One of your statements on the FAQ area said it may be caused by the newer version of Firefox. I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to play the game anymore because of this issue.
I didn't see anything in the trouble shooting area that applies to the problem I'm having with this game. Sad thing is, I have lots of coins still. It also is delayed showing your score. I just played the game few minutes ago & it didn't even register my "new high score."Try to reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

I can no longer access Bejeweled Blitz through facebook. I get the message, "your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit". I can access Bejeweled through FB using my husband's log in so to me that suggests the problem is with my log in. Help please.

Ever since I updated the Bejeweled Blitz on my 3G iPod, The game kept crashing so I deleted & re-installed it.
Sadly, I now can't play the game on my iPod anymore because new version is compatible with the 4G & iSo or higher only.
What should I do to get my purchased game back?

i've tried playing zuma blitz and bejeweled blitz in the firefox browser window and the play is very jerky and slow.
Just had the same thing happen AGAIN. Suddenly - a blank iPlayer Desktop which failed to download new programmes. All previous programmes were still in the repository folder. This time the sequence I outlined previously didn't work.
What eventually got things working this time was to reinstall Adobe Air as part of the BBC iPlayer Desktop installation process - and not separately.
So:
a) Move iPlayer to trash.
b) Find and delete the following folder: Users/Yourname/Library/Preferences/BBCiPlayerDesktop.61DB7A798358575D6A969CCD73DDBBD 723A6DA9D.1
c) Find and delete the following folder:
Users/Yourname/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/BBCiPlayerDesktop.61DB7A798358575D6A969CCD73DDB BD723A6DA9D.1
d) Find and delete the following folder:
Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository/cache
e) Find and run: Applications/Utilities/Adobe AIR Uninstaller
f) Empty the Trash. I found that bits and pieces of BBC iPlayer were still running despite having been quit and dumped in the trash - and so it wouldn't allow me to complete this part. Restarted the computer, then empty the trash.
g) Find the folder: Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository and rename it repository2
h) Reinstall iPlayer. It will tell you that you have no programmes to view. Quit the programme.
i) Find and delete the folder: Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository
j) Find the folder: Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository2 and rename it to repository.
k) Relaunch iPlayer
It would be terribly nice if the BBC or Adobe stopped buggering about with this . . . -
"Refresh after" insert fails for DB-View with INSTEAD OF Triggers

I have a database view with INSTEAD OF triggers defined for INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE.
For some EO attributes the refresh after insert and update is defined.
Posting to database fails.
According to Database 9.2 Manual and a previous thread (BC4J and Updatable Views the RETURNING clause is not allowed for database views with INSTEAD OF triggers.
Is there a workaround so the refresh after is done, but without the RETURNING feature?
I only need to refresh some values. The PK i can set in the create method of the EO so refresh via a additional SELECT would be possible.
If not Feature Request:
Add the possibility to do the "refresh after ..." with a 2nd SELECT using the PK instead of using the RETURNING clause.
Of course then it is not possible to set the PK in the database trigger. PK has to be set in the create method of the EO.

Turning on the stack trace (-Djbo.debugout put=Console - in the Project/runner) did help and I should have done it sooner. Turns out that when I constructed my EO based upon a database view - I should have left out the PKs of the base tables.
In my case, I am using an "Instead Of Trigger" to populate a multi-table arrangement (parent - child - grandChild - greatGrandChild relationship) where all base tables are using dbSequence/dbTriggers.
Final analysis - I would like to see BC4J handle this situation. I do not want to use View-Links and I should * not * have to resort to stored procedures and BC4J/doDML. If I construct a DB View this is participating in an parent - child - grandChild - greatGrandChild relationship that are using dbSequence/dbTriggers, then BC4J should be smart enough to construct VO knowing that I want to do insert, update, delete, selects - based upon this structure.

ORA-01403: no data found - refresh after insert on view
Hi all,
I have problems with refresh after insert on view and i override this method on my xxDefImpl.java
public boolean isUseReturningClause() {
return false;
Anyway what it does is to substitute the RETURNIN INTO to
SELECT ID INTO ? FROM MY_VIEW WHERE ID=?; END;".
And this gives me the error
ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512: at line 1
Because i'm tryint to insert on my view with ID = -1
And then the view and the my triggers make it happen to became a real ID.
The thing is that i need to refresh my ID after insert and it runs this select with -1 and it finds no data of course because the trigger on the view and on my tables transformed it in a real ID .
DO u know what's missing?See section 26.5 Basing an Entity Object on a Join View or Remote DBLink in the ADF Developer's Guide for Forms/4GL Developers for the additional tip I believe you're missing about marking a unique attribute as well.

Problem with a field set to refresh after insert at Row level
hello all,
i have a problem with a field (a serial) which is set by a db trigger at insertion. The field "refresh after insert" is properly set in the Entity and everything is refreshed correctly when i insert data via an adf form in a jspx but when i want to insert programmatically nothing is refreshed. I insert data this way :
ViewObject insertVO = findViewObject("myView");
Row newRow = insertVO.createRow();
newRow.setAttribute("mandatoryAttribute1",value1);
newRow.setAttribute("mandatoryAttribute2",value2);
<more init here but not the serial since it will be set by the DB trigger>
insertVO.insertRow(newRow);
but when i want to get back the value with "newRow().getAttribute("TheSerial");" i always get a null back and not the value set by the db trigger.
One way to get the serial is to commit after each insert but i don't want to commit between inserts.
i've tried to unset the refresh after insert and override the createDef() method to setUseReturningClause(false) as it's is advised in chapter 26.5 of the ADF 4GL dev. guide but in this case i have an exception JBO-29000: JBO-26041.
How can i get the value back properly ?

-regardsThe data for the newly created row doesn't get inserted into the database until the commit is executed, so the insert trigger isn't called.
If you need to get the value without committing, then you should implement the trigger programmatically and drop the trigger from the database. The code below shows how you could do this.
ViewObject insertVO = findViewObject("myView");
Row newRow = insertVO.createRow();
SequenceImpl seq = new SequenceImpl("MY_SEQ", insertVO.getDBTransaction());
Long next = (Long)seq.getData();
newRow.setAttribute("primaryAttribute", new Number(next));
...You will need to replace MY_SEQ and primaryAttribute with the correct values for your example, but this should acheive what you want.
