Facebook-skype account -- how can I get my old acc...

Long story short, after the frustration of trying numerous ways to log in to Skype with facebook, on of which consists of disconnecting Skype from my Facebook Apps, I found that though I have successfully gotten the dektop client to work, my old "facebook:daniel0731ex" account is gone, as I was treacherously misled to create a new account, now renemed as "facebook:daniel0731ex_2". And I did it again after trying to fix it, so currently I'm "facebook:daniel0731ex_3"
I'm wonder if it's possible to delete, merge, or reconnect my Facebook profile so that my Skype name is "facebook:daniel0731ex" again? It'd also be nice to retain the history/contacts/info of my old profile.

Oh and another thing; the old account was not unlinked manually from the Skype page. All I did was remove the app from Facebook.

You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

This can happen when you both share the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores, but you should use separate IDs for iMessage and FaceTime.
To fix this, on one of the phones, to go Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

your apps aren't stored in an itunes backup because they should be in your library via transferring purchases when it says 'there are purchases on your device that aren't in your library. if you don't transfer them, you will no longer have access to them'
itunes doesn't back up stuff that is already in your library because it would backup up to your hard drive twice

When you are done with this issue, consider the computer back at the office may still
have access to your iTunes account, and it should be de-auhorized. You can do that
remotely, but be sure you carefully do not mess up your other computer iTunes libraries.

Thanks for your response Cor el, I'll try that the next time it happens, it's completely random. One moment it functions normally then suddenly it changes its mind.
Restarting my pc usually brings it back to normal until next time.
One thing I've noticed, but not 100% sure there's a connection here.....I edit my websites online and log into cpanel which opens new pages in separate tabs, as it should do. It seems that this problem occurs when I'm logged into cpanel...if i'm logged in then open a new tab for regular browsing of other sites then all links on those sites also open in new tabs.
Ican't say for sure if it's always only happened when logged into cpanel, but certainly on the last 3 occasions.
At the moment it's behaving normally so much I can do to check your suggestions, but will try them the next time it occurs.
One other thing I forgot to mention too....since i've had the new firefox, I've noticed that when I log into yahoo and post comments, I often find myself having to log on for each new post. Everything was fine with old firefox and there have been no other changes to my pc .
