Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo Mail and other pages don't load.

Yesterday I deleted my browsing history and my cookies and after wards Facebook, Yahoo Mail, Twitter, and other web pages are giving me problems. I can't see anything on facebook but the menu on top, same thing with Yahoo and Twitter. Other websites are giving me problems as well, for example: On Youtube.com it doesn't let me sign in, I click "Sign In" and it just reloads the page and it still says "Sign In." I click share and it doesn't want to work either. I tried using another browser and I got the same results. Has anyone experienced this problem? Can someone help me with this?

I pretty sure that my Antivirus is not blocking the browser. I also tried Waterfox and Cyberfox, both have the same problem.

I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.

The new Firefox has removed my Yahoo mail and other settings. Why? How do I get them back? It gives me a screen that says go "here" but nothing happens.

Before the latest update, I used Firefox almost exclusively. Now that the new version has removed, or hidden, my entire Yahoo settings and pages, I can't use Firefox at all.

other users also had problems with yahoo mail when they were using the ghostery addon - do you have it installed too by any chance? if so, add an exception for yahoo mail: click on the ghostery icon while you're in yahoo's webmail, choose "edit blocking options" & then don't block on this domain...

My problem seems to be fixed--I cannot reproduce it now, though it had been consistently happening for the past 3-4 days. I can log into facebook and yahoo but the will not finish loading up, I had this problem with 1e9 but i switched to firefox 5.0.1 and the problem with ie9 was it said my javascript was turned off, but i had it turned on.Thats when I switched to firefox.I am running this on a windows vista home premium system. You may have to open Mail, go to the upper left corner of the screen and click on the word Mail, open Preferences, click on Accounts, and make sure your Gmail account is still fully set up properly with all proper account and incoming and outgoing Mail Servers properly completed. When you added iCloud capability it may have upset the account settings for Gmail.

Something remembers my mail login name (in yahoo mail and other applications) so that as soon as the first letter is typed in the "name box" the rest of my login name is displayed. How can I stop it remembering this name?

I presume I have an autofill turned on somewhere as in a number of boxes I just type in the first letter and the remainder of stuff I have typed in the past is displayed. In some instances I do not want this information to be available to others. Please can someone tell me where this info is stored so I can delete some of it.

The Mail app on the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch does have an option to clear previous recipients. You can learn to live with it. But if you want to get rid of it, the only way to remove these cached email addresses from the Mail application is restoring the iPhone/iPod Touch as a new phone/iPod. If you restore from backup, the cache is also restored.

Cat layed on my keyboard and now Youtube and other sites don't load properly.

Hi there,
My cat got on my keyboard earlier and started flopping around, and now youtube doesn't look right, as well as other sites. When I run Firefox in safe mode, it does load but disabling the addons and plugins manually doesn't make it work. Did the cat disable something?

Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.

Yahoo Mail Gets Blank Page

My iPad has a newe trick lately of not showing anything but a blank page when I attempt to get my mail. It loads in at the top and stops spinning so I know it is going to the load in step. I just do not know why it will not show my page where you log in, etc. even. I have tried it at home with my WIFI and at a hotel far from here with the same results. Other sites load in normally, it is just the Yahoo mail.

Yahoo mail and hotmail help, please!

I have OS X 10.5.8, and for few days I have been unable to log into yahoo mail and hotmail. i can open the login homepage and then get "Safari can’t open the page because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again." after entering login and password. i checked for updates, and it says i have all current updates. after reasearching this, i tried turning ipv6 off and having no proxies checked, but it didn't help. I deleted cookies (and checked to always allow cookies), emptied cache, restarted, and nothing. I don't use the mail application on my computer, i just log in to these sites with safari. sometimes i have been able to get into yahoo and do a few things, but then i get a page that fails to open sooner rather than later. i can get to most other pages, though i have been getting the same message frequently for some other pages, more so than normal. not sure what my options are or what changed even, but i just want to be able to sign into mail. thanks for any help.

You can also try downloading a different browser and see if the problem still exists, I have never had this problem, and I have Yahoo, there have many issues with them, that I thought were at my end, but then they would come back with, oh we changed this that is why I mentioned this.
You can try with this and see if the problem still happens and this might suggest the former.
If nothing else this would also help as a diagnostic tool.

Yahoo mail in FF is slow to load (if it loads at all) and the e-mails do not open when you click on them. I do not have this problem in Chrome or IE

When I click on Yahoo in FF, the page is slow to load. When it does, the e-mail is even slower to load. When it does load and I click on an e-mail, the e-mail does not open. Any suggestions? If I delete FF and reinstall it, will I lose all the information in FF (e.g. Book marks or preferences)? Thanks in advance for your help.

Just in case [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]], but before that you can clear the cache for a specific site in the about:permissions page.
Select Yahoo mail on this page and forget the site. This will remove cookies and active logins for mail. Please then restart Firefox and relogin to Yahoo mail.

I just upgraded iphone 4 and Macbook Pro to IOS 5 / i cloud! I have had yahoo mail and calendar for years, and syncing with my iphone and the mail app on my macbook. 1) do I have to do anything new or special now that I havve iCloud to keep them sync'd? and 2) should I stop using my "@yahoo.com" address and only use my "@.me" address? And stop using Yahoo calendar and only use iCal?
Last, can iCloud inherit my 6 years of messages on Yahoo mail??

Sjazbec, I have to disagree based on experience. Since activatingiCloud on my iPhone 4 (updated to IOS 5) and the mail app on my newiMac (running LION) last Tuesday, NONE of my email shows up in theyahoo inbox via the mail app on my iphone. ALL of my email is visiblefrom the yahoo website page through Safari. NONE of the mail sent frommy iPhone appears in the Sent folder on Yahoo.
Until last Tuesday, none of this happened with my iPhone 4.
Onmy iPhone, I went to Settings->iCloud and deleted my iCloud account(option available if you scroll all the way down) completely, andvoila, lo and behold, instantly, all my email since Tuesday magicallyappears in my inbox.
I admit it's likely I have noconcept as to how iCloud is supposed to work. Of course, I bought bothLion and IOS5 and neither came with any explanation.
