I have Mountain Line with Safari 6.0.2. I used to open Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc. and everytime I select "Stay signed in" "Remember my password" etc. but it doesn't save my passwords and everytime I have to sign in again. I never sign out from these websites but when I open it next time, it requires username & password.
Does anybody know the problem & solution, plz help. I also found disk erros and reaoired permissiomn and the restarted and did disk utlty again and repaired the same disk errors and then did a restart and still does not remember passwords or ask me. Did all this still no luck it saved apple login on here and saved gmail account but others one it used to save does no longer.here is what i did below and still no luck.

Open up your Safari Web browser and choose 'Preferences' from the Safari pull down menu

Click on the heading 'AutoFill.'
Click on the box next to 'User Names and Passwords.'

Close the 'Preferences' window.
Save Your Passwords

Go to a Web page that requires a password and enter in your chosen password. Safari will then ask if you would like to save this password.

Click on the button 'Yes' in order to save the password.

Complete steps 1 and 2 for any other passwords that you want Safari to remember.

Go to the 'AutoFill' section in the Safari Preferences window.

Click on the 'Edit' button to the right of where it says 'User Names and Passwords.' This will bring up a window displaying all of the passwords and usernames that you have authorized Safari to save.

Click on a password listing and push the 'Remove' button in order to delete the password from Safari's memory.

Choose 'Remove All' in order to delete all of the saved passwords.
12I suggest that you run software update, after which you should have Safari 6.0.5 - then check Safari - Preferences - Privacy & see that 'Block cookies' is not set to Always.
Failing that - switch Safari extensions Off via Safari - Preferences - Extensions & test again -
Safari doesn't save passwords for webpages like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc.

I have updated my iPad to IOS 8.1.2. And now I cant watch any videos anymore. Not on Facebook, YouTube, etc. How can I fix this?

How long does a charge last since the update?
Have you reset the network settings? Settings>General>Reset>reset Network Settings>Enter 4 digit passcode>Reset Network Settings

Facebook, youtube, and some other sites doesn't work on Mountain Lion
Since I installed Mountain Lion (today) i can't acess facebook, youtube videos and some other sites. I thought the problem was the flash player so i've tryed uninstall and reinstall, desable and enable, and read some tips that didn't work until now. Hope you can help me =)
Found the answer myself, its a commun problem in Mountain Lion. Some guy found the way to make flash work well. Maybe some of you just need to install the latest version. But the truth is there is a bug and this is how to fix it:
System Preferenes > Network > Wi-Fi or Ethernet (whatever you're using) > Advanced > Hardware > Set 'Configure = Manually' > Change 'MTU = Custom' = 1380 -

If you are having issues with your iPhone not playing video from any source, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Macbook (OSX 10.5.8) won't load facebook, youtube on any browser
As the title says, my macbook has stopped loading Facebook and Youtube on any browser (chrome, safari, firefox). It's been about 2 weeks and I've tried clearing cache and repairing the disk. All other websites work without a problem.
Any suggestions?OK, For the cookies you need to go into the setting on your browser and make sure that cookies are allowed. You also may need to make sure that cookies are not being blocked for facebook. Should be in the same area, would probably be on a blacklist.
As far as the DNS settings go.
Go into your Network preferences
select the method that you are connecting with from the list on the left
click in the DNS Server field and enter 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (those are public DNS servers from google)
Click apply
Try to go to www.facebook.com If it doesn't work, try restarting your browser. -
BEfore I had my computer restored, when i clicked on a new tab the page popped up with different icons from websites such as facebook, pininterest, youtube, and it also had a bar where i could search for others and input my own asd well. It was not the most recent tabs. How do i get this back
The built-in page can be customized by dragging bookmarks to the various thumbnail areas, but it doesn't (currently) come with popular website links. More info on the built-in new tab page:

You might have been using a "speed dial" / "fast dial" type add-on previously. If you search on the Add-ons site and check the screen shots of the types of pages they create, perhaps you can find that same one again.

By the way, what was involved in the restore? Sometimes Windows will create a folder named:
C:\Windows.old\
which may contain your old Firefox profile (settings) folder. -
Firefox crashes frequently while using facebook,youtube,etc
I am using firefox 30 and my firefox crashes frequently when i use facebook,while watching youtube videos,closing a high-loaded tabs,etc and also shows "plugin-container.exe has encountered a problem and must close." and another problem is that while watching youtube or using fb plug-container.exe and firefox.exe both uses about 500MB of my RAM and currently I have only 1.5GB RAM which makes pc working slower. I had recently disabled hardware acceleration but the crashing problem still there.

Best export settings for Facebook/YouTube.

I am still very very new to the world of HD, and I have just finished a short viral video for a local club night.
It was shot in 1080 60i and runs for 1 minute 20 seconds. When I export it as a Quicktime movie it is quite big at 750MB, but also the dimensions of it are far too big
My client would like the video to be able to be uploaded to Facebook and YouTube.
Can anybody advise a way of me getting the size of this video down?
Should I export using Quicktime conversion and set the dimensions etc then, or can I drop the finished HD file into Compressor and compreess it in there?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stabilization disappears when uploading through Share Vimeo/Facebook/Youtube.
Hey all,
I just shot a wedding video on Saturday. (I have five videos prior to this already uploaded on the respective three websites, all through iMovie 11 using the same method of clicking Share then each site).
Now, whenever I upload my latest video (fully edited, stabilized, etc.) the stabilization is gone by the time the video is to each site. The quality actually ends up worse than before it was stabilized. I use camera stabilizing equipmnt so there is hardly any tremor or sway in any of my shots so this should not be an issue. Some of my shots now shake like someone was jumping up and down very quickly. I rewatched an unstabilized version of my video in iMovie 11, QuickTime and I made a DVD to test on the TV. Yes there is some shakyness (because it is unstabilized) but, it's far superior than what is being uploaded into Vimeo/Facebook and Youtube.
So I tested a stabilized version doing the same three methods. Turns out near perfect. No shaking, very stable and smooth pans and shots. I reuploaded to Vimeo/YouTube and Facebook again last night. Same results, all stabilization gone and what appears to be an over exaggerated shaking of the camera.
Any ideas? I have never had this problem before this latest upload. I have OSX Snow Leapord up to date (refuse to buy Lion) and iMovie 11 up to date. It's becoming rather aggrivating as I rely on these sites to work correctly to help promote my business.
You thoughts and exptertise are greatly appreciated.

Just tried creating a Quicktime version of the video per Vimeo's tech support. Did the same thing. It's like the Stabilization is not taking. Ideas? -
Pretty much the title - Wi-Fi seems to be fine, I'm using my laptop at the moment and internet's working fine. Safari works on my iPod touch also, but not Facebook or Youtube. These are at their latest versions, and the iPod is at its latest version too...anyone had the same problem / know what to do?
Are Restrictions turned on? Go to Settings > General > Restrictions. If it says "On", enter your Restrictions password and see if Facebook and YouTube are turned off.

Weird message showing up on Facebook/YouTube .
On every YouTube post on Facebook I am getting a weird message over the top blocking the YouTube post. The message says I am blocked due to my server not being allow and then this "http://fbexternal-a.akamaihd.net/embed/?
I've seen it too. If I had to guess iwth the external and embed in the link there's something wrong with the mechanism that embeds the video into facebook. Maybe a compromised server or glitch in the code.
May be totally unrelated but folks have been talking about some sort of sex tape virus going around on facebook. An effort to stop one thing could have messed upsomething else, or may be totally unrelated.
In any case, given its wide spread nature its unlikely to be an issue with individual ipads rather the app or service itself. -
