FaceTime calling incorrect number

My Friend is stating that on two occasions she has face timed my phone and someone else answered. Then they hang up. She is thinking that someone is picking up my phone and playing a game with her. However I am positive that noone has my phone in their possession at the time that she has called. This is causing serious mistrust amongst us. Is it possible that someone has cloned my phone or APPLEID and is intercepting her FaceTime calls to me??

Restore as new... if the problem still continues then there is a hardware issue.
If it stops after a restore as new, then the issue is with the backup the device is currently setup with.

No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that.

HT204380 I am not able to make a FaceTime call to an Apple ID with iOS 7? The only option is for a phone number

When I go in to the contact, the facetime icon is only located below the phone number. I am not given the option to FaceTime with an Apple ID. Is there a setting or something that I need to go in and change in order to make FaceTime calls to an Apple ID??
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

They have to have facetime on there device as well and enabled with phone number and or apple id.
THERE apple id needs to be in your contacts and YOUR apple id needs to be in there contacts

I've made custom User and UserStore classes.
Now I'm trying to register or login with a user, but I get the error

The problem is that I can't really debug UserManager's methods, because it is in a closed DLL.
I get this same error on
UserManager.FindAsync(user), UserManager.CreateAsync(user,password), UserManager.Create(User user)
Now the error doesn't occur when I log in with an External Login, like Google, which also uses methods from UserManager. Entering the email works
as well, but when the user has to be created from an External Login with the inserted email, it gives the CreateAsync error
too.
How can I fix this? Do I need to create my own UserManager? Or do I need another solution entirely?

How do I change the "You can be reached by Facetime at" phone number on my iPad? It currently shows my iPhone number.

While I can make outgoing Facetime calls, incoming calls are not received because they obviously go to my iPhone number. I assume I need to change the "You can be reached by Facetime at" setting but cannot see how to do it.
I am using the iPad with retina screen and have just updated to iOS7.

Her phone number is in my FaceTime settings as well. I have logged out and logged back in with my Apple ID, but it still shows here number despite the fact I have verified my number is associated with my Apple ID.

Hi Naveen...
yes, the problem was solved but it had nothing to do with SAP itself...
We have our APO system on two servers: the message server (and DB) runs on an iSeries and the application server and LiveCache server on a SuSE Linux machine. This last server has several iSeries shared (NFS) folders mounted and all TemSE objects are created on one of these folders.
Now the problem is we use a Vision solution for our HA. Whenever Vision is "touching" a file, Linux can't "see" the lock status due to NFS limitations. So, when it is trying to access the same file, a "permission denied" error message is issued to SAP, causing the job to abort and the TemSE object to become inconsistent.
One solution is to change from NFS to Samba.
Another one, much faster to implement, is stopping the Vision job during the night period, when those SAP jobs run. Since then, we didn't had any more problems.
Of course, this is simply a workaround and not a permanent solution!
Could this be your scenario as well?

Incorrect number on my cell phone from Skype?

In trying to set up my account I put in the number that was on my cell phone #759-73, and it says that is an incorrect number??? Please check and see if I have two accounts and am using the wrong number or what is happening.

Let me add to my earlier response. DO not even attempt to discuss this matter with comcast or their techs. They simply are unaware of the problem and can do nothing to fix it. Call Neustar at the number I gave you in ealrier post.. Tell them the problem and either have them delete your cellphone number from their data base or set the caller id to show city, state and your number. Deletion is probably better. Tech at Neustar did this told it would take effect in two hours and the problem was gone in 5 minutes. I am sick and tired of disconnects, talking to techs at comcast who barely can speak english, mumble, one told me today to go to the website and disable call blocking from my cell then call home and then reenable it after making the call. LMAO! Yeah, while driving down the road. This afternoon I got a call from a rather arrogant tech who didn;t want to hear the problem, didn;t undertand the problem and tried to blame the problem on my cell service. No problem when I call anyone outside of Comcast and it was corected once before . So the problem is with your cell phone number listing at Neustar. Since Comcast uses Neustar for their caller id numbers they should be be able to delete or correct entires but apparently cannot. Good Luck, my days with comcast are limited.

I'm having the same problem, but it's also coming through on my computer, through my Apple email address. I have a very short Apple email, and little kids are trying to facetime their little friends, and then when I tell them I'm not their friend, they FaceTime or iMessage me even more, thinking that I'm still their friend, and I'm just kidding around.
I can't block the kids before they call...I don't know who they are. I want to restrict my FaceTime to only my phone number, and block all FaceTime and iMessage requests that are coming in through my email address. Can I do that?

Answer a FaceTime call on my mac

I can make a FaceTime call from my iMac (Lion) but I cannot answer a call on it.
I can make and answer FaceTime calls to and from my iPhone4 and my iPad.
Can someone point me to someplace where I can find an answer as to why FaceTime on my iMac will not answerr a call.

Thanks - I discovered the answer to my question.
If someone makes a FaceTime call to my phone number it only goes to my iPhone. If they make the call to my email address it goes to all of my devices so I can answer it from wherever I am that has a WiFi network that I can attach to.
I'm learning - slowly but surely.

Someone else receives my facetime calls

Hi,
Since last saturday (3rd May 2014), I see that somelse is making and receiving my facetime calls. The first time, I saw on the phone of my girl friend that she was receiving a Facetime call from my account AppleID. This call was not coming my own phone. Both these phones (the one of my girl friend and mine) were one next to the other when we received this call.
Than we did some tests. When she called me on Facetime, sometime another person has responded (seems to be a little boy).
It seems both our phone received the call (mine and the one of the little boy) and the first who respond take the call, the other don't.
I don't know if my text on iMessage are concerned. No proof of that for the moment, but I have dought.
This little seems to be French, like me. And so I have a theory but I'm not sure of that. I think this little boy has got my previous phone number. Even if this is the cause, I don't know how to resolve it.
Please, could someone help me to recovery the property and the use of my Apple ID on Facetime ?

It is happening the same to me. I've been receiving FaceTime calls from my gf account for a few weeks, but it's not her. A guy with a mask is making the calls, but I am not sure he is american, since I am not able to understand what he says.
At the beginning I thought it was a FaceTime bug because I started receiving calls while I was already talking on FaceTime with my gf, so I didn't care at all and obviously I didn't answer. But last Friday the iPhone rang again and I answered and saw this guy.
We've been to the Apple store and we've called the customer care maybe 10 times and no one is surprised at all. Is it so common and normal that someone uses your Apple ID to call your relatives and/or your partners??
They just answered that you have to change simply your password, but this doesn't solve anything. In fact, the guy called again a few hours ago and the Apple senior manager decided to transfer our call to the network operator.
I'm totally disappointed with the answers from Apple, since the operators aren't able to avoid future calls from the guy and to dissociate his devices from my gf's icloud account!
I would be very grateful if someone could help me to manage this weird situation.

HELP: FaceTime with phone number and/or email ????

Ok, I'll try to be clear as this might be a confusing question.....
My iPhone 4S has been recieving Facetime calls only through my email addresses (2 diff addresses work for me). Howecer, if someone tries to call my phone number on Facetime, it says ' not available'.
My sisters iPhone 4 recieves her Facetime calls on her cell phone number but NOT on her email address....
Both are on a wifi network.... but not the same network......
I was under the impresssion either the phone number or email would work if using IO5.
Why would one or the other work or not work?????
Please let me know if there is more info needed.......

The short and direct answer to your question about catalogs on a network drive is that you can't do that. The catalog must reside on a local drive.
