FaceTime Calls Keep getting dropped as soon as I connect both calling and receiving.

So I have a Macbook Pro and I am trying to facetime someone on an Iphone 4. It calls and connects but as soon as I connect, the call drops, or says the other person is unavailable. I have updated all my software, and it still has the issue.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool. Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. I learned from my IT department that this is now a known issue, affecting many people at my firm. The word is that Apple told them to wait for iOS 8.1 to fix the issue. I upgraded to 8.1 but the issue still occurs, exactly as you describe it. Here's hoping 8.1.1 comes out soon and addresses the issue!

I can't start Facetime. Keep getting a pop-up window saying that "an internal FaceTime error occured. There was a problem with FaceTime. You need to quit and open FaceTime again". I keep retrying to open and keep getting the same message over again.

I keep getting other peoples conversations coming through on my calls it just half a sentence, but can happen 5 or 6 time in a 10 min call, and a weired pulsing sound that comes from the earpiece,

Sounds like what we used to call 'crosstalk'. Other conversations bleeding into yours. Definitely contact your carrier about the problem.

I keep getting drop down messages about updates for my MacBook Pro. These have to do with iphoto, updates that I could care less about. How do I keep these from popping up, with out taking the update. The drop down is very frustrating.

Keep getting dropped from my server

Why do I keep getting dropped from my server? We have 3 computers in our house - all on our wireless router - I have the only Mac and I am the ONLY one experiencing this problem! After using the internet for any length of time, if I let the computer set idle for a short period of time, a window comes up saying Safari cannot find server! This will happen everyday - ALL DAY - and I'm really tired of restarting my computer (which can't be good) I have looked at other FAQ and I saw where someone else was having this problem but when I tried the downloads that was recommended to them, it came up that my computer did not support that download (or something like that). Anyone have any suggestions????

I have the same problem as you, I found that disabling the IPV6 setting and resetting the PRAM helped a bit.
How does it work on your Macbook, on mine if I leave Network Diagnostics open flickers on and off constantly.

SInce the last 3 weeks the phones has been acting weird. on dialling a call it get hung on disconnecting it stays on the call ending screen only. this happens for atleast 5 to 7 minutes and then it gets to normal or the other way is to turn the device off and then turn it on. the phones also running slow and therefore at times becomes very cumbersome. a few of my friends have also been having the same problems.
I have taken the phone to the service outles but the best they did was to reboot the phone it works fine for a day or two but again the same issue.
Can anyone share any info on it?

I'm glad to hear that they replaced your phone. Any experience I have had with Apple customer service and/or Genius bar has been extremely positive. While I have had positive outcomes from trouble with other phones in the past, they are not as quick and friendly. I had a Motorola phone and a Samsung phone go bad several years ago and warranty work through AT&T required that I wait for a replacement unit and then mail back the original unit to keep from being charged for the device. This usually meant almost a week without a phone. Nice to walk into Apple and walk out with a replacement device. Enjoy your phone.

I keep getting the Error "Adobe Muse has encountered an error and will now exit. Please report the last few actions you took leading up to this error to the Adobe Muse CC team. I get this when I try and save and I am not sure what is causing it or, since i made several changes to the site, which actions it would have been. I am using the latest updated version of Muse. the 2014.3 I was able to publish site with changes but it did not save, so I have a web version different then what is saved. My published site is the most recent one but the saved version is one without latest changes. When I tried to merge it started updating the Assets and then showed that Error message and shutdown.

I believe you have already updated Muse version which includes fix for this issue , if not then please update Muse to latest version.
