FaceTime can't sign in.
FaceTime can't sign in with good Apple ID.
If you changed your password, and that stopped it working, you might like to try this idea, that worked for me, after nothing else would.
::Log out and back in to iTunes on your Mac/PC.
I had exactly the same problems as above, and no amount of network changes or even a full restore would help.
Finally, I went back to my PC, launched iTunes, logged OUT of that, then signed in again, this time with the new password.
Then I had to go back, and properly close Facetime and iMessages and sign in. It worked fine after that.
(To properly close an application, double click the home button, then hold down on the facetime app logo in the multitasking bar at the bottom, then press the tiny symbol.)

When I got my iPad I created a new apple ID it was working fine but then one day when I went to the app store and checked my apple ID, as usual it asked for a password, I typed the password in and was very sure it was the right one because i've been using it for a long time. Then it said incorrect password. I tried to type it in again and again and again but it still said incorrect password. We checked if it still exists on apple.com but then it said no apple ID found or no matches to our records or something like that. So I decided to get a new one but still used the same email. I found out that if 1 email is associated with 2 different apple ID's it may cause problems but as I said we checked if the old one still existed on apple.com it said it didn't so I thought it was fine to use the email again. After that the app store was working fine. I can install games and apps. I knew I had to sign in to iMessage and FaceTime again because of the I got a new apple ID but whenever I try signing in, it always says "Incorrect password" and sometimes "check you internet connection". I've tried signing in over and over again but nothing worked I still can't sign jn to iMessage and Facetime. What do you think I should do?

Can't sign in to iMessage and Facetime with my Apple ID, only one or the other
I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.2 on AT&T.
I've noticed I am unable to use my Apple ID for both Facetime and iMessage; if I am signed in to one of them, I'm unable to sign in to the other. I get in a loop of the phone repeatedly popping up a password entry screen for the Apple ID.
If I cancel the process and sign out of either, I can successfully sign in to the other. But no matter which I sign into first, I cannot sign in to both at the same time. >__< It's working fine on my other iDevices (iPad 1, iPhone 4), this is the only one having the issue. The issue has been happening since my purchase of the iPhone 5 last year.
Any ideas on a fix? It's driving me nuts. I've even just restored my phone and still receiving the exact same issue. Thanks in advance for any help as I am at a loss. ;(I THINK I might have found out a fix. First, I went in and signed into iMessages, but left Facetime logged out. I then went in Settings and turned off FaceTime altoghter. Afterwards I went to ensure iMessages was still signed in (Paranoia perhaps lol). Then I went back in and re-enabled FaceTime. The information was inserted back in, but Caller ID for Facetime was unchecked, so I selected my email address instead of phone. And both have oddly been working fine and stayed signed in since. No password requests at all.
I have zero clue why this works, but it does. I only figured it out thanks to obcessive behavoir and inablilty to accept it was broken lol. Anyone else with the issue want to confirm if it works for them as well? -

<Email Edited by Host>There is no official public documentation of that alert as far as I know, but apparently it can sometimes mean that the primary or alternate email address is invalid. Search the Web for the phrase "My Apple ID." The top hit should be an Apple web page with that title. I'm not giving a direct link because such links are never to be trusted. Sign in and verify the ID.
Otherwise, do as the alert directs. According to reports, you won't be charged for the support call if you select "Apple ID"—not the hardware model—as the product you're asking about, and cite the "customer code" in the alert as the "validation code" when you speak to the Apple representative. I can't confirm. -

Can not sign into FaceTime or iMessage on ipad air
For some reason I can not sign into FaceTime or iMessage using my Apple ID anymore. They both used to work, but they just stopped.. Now when I try to sign back in I get a message than an error occurred during sign in. I use two different Apple id's, one just for iCloud and one for everything else.

Why is it that I can't sign in on facetime, but I can sign in on app.store? With facetime,I'm getting an error, invalid username and password eventhough I have typed exactly the same when I'm signing in on the app.store. pls.help, thanks
1. Make sure software is up to date
2. Make sure FaceTime is enabled; Settings>FaceTime
3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled
5. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
6. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo -

I can't sign into iMessage or FaceTime since updating to iOS 8.0.2...
I was signed into iMessage and everything was fine before I updated and now I am unable to sign into imessage or FaceTime. Every time I go to sign in and comes up and says "Can not sign in. Check your connection and try again." i have restrated my iPad and I have tried reconnecting... I can use my id for iTunes and other things... Just not iMessage or FaceTime. It's incr frustratin! Any ideas????

HELP!!! When I was using imessage on my phone it worked perfectly, but on my ipad, when I sign in it makes me write my password again and again until it says my password is incorrect!! Please help, I know my password is corrcect and I don't know what's going on with imessage.

Hello,
Today, I bought a Macbook Pro and i migrated the accounts and applications from the other Mac that had using TimeMachine backup. I've found that Facetime has been updated to version 1.0.2. However, now I can not sign in Facetime with my Apple ID, but with the other mac i had Facetime 1.0 and i use my Apple ID in Facetime with no problems. Any ideas?

Does any media now sync to the iPod?
