Facetime doesn't connect calls to iphone

I have a macbook pro 13" from March and since I bought it, I have been struggling with using Facetime.
1. Facetime doesn't take incoming calls.
2. When I try calling someone on an iPhone, including my own one, it doesn't connect.
any wiz could help on it?

This can be difficult to troubleshoot as the issue could be caused by the Wi-Fi network, cellular data network, firewall/port settings, restrictions, ect. I would start with going through the steps in the article below. Be sure to reply back with the results if the issue persists.

Facetime suddenly stopped "connecting" calls

I have a Mac Mini (desktop) and have been successfully using FaceTime without any problems since I purchased it. Recently, and suddenly, it is not connecting calls. It happens when I try to call out, and it happens when someone tries to call me. (having said that, I only use it with 3 or 4 people). The call will ring, but once the other party attempts to connect, the call is dropped/disconnected. It is happening every time. I've run my software updates and the other parties have run their software updates. And unless I"m looking in the wrong places, I cannot seem to find this problem in the apple technical support topics or troubleshooting discussions. Any suggestions?

When trying to use facetime I get this message:
FaceTime Activation
Could not sign in. Please check your netword connection and try again.
My iphone 4 works on the same network.
Please help.

FaceTime only works on wifi. Are you sure you are connected to the internet?

IMac FaceTime not making/accepting calls from iPhone

I have Yosemite installed on my iMac, and IOS 8.1 on my iPhone 6. FaceTime on both are set to receive/make cell phone calls. Both are on the same WiFi.
When the iPhone rings, a dialogue box appears on the iMac for me to click Accept or Reject. If you Accept the call, it disconnects. Similarly, if you want to make a call (through any of the several methods), a dialogue box appears momentarily showing the call, then another dialogue box appears saying "Try Again".
Any suggestions?

FaceTime Won't Connect Calls

For the last couple times I was trying to call my friend who was also using Facetime for Mac, and the calls would say "connecting" but then would fail. I thought it was my end so I told him to try and it was the same thing. We are both using Lion, same version of FaceTime and both have a broadband connection so it isn't the internet speed that is the problem... any suggestions?

I have same issue. It did not change after ios 8.1. It is really big problem for me too. But i think the problem is RAM! After i try to do facetime call and not able to connect, i am opening an app for cleaning ram. After RAM cleaning i am able to connect. It just works every time for me. Some times i want it from the person who i called too. Can you all try it please? If it is true, i think we have found a reason to upgrade ram for APPLE

My FaceTime doesn't allow calls. I have to reboot to get calls. How do IU fix that.

TS3367 FaceTime isn't connecting

I cannot get FaceTime to actually connect on my iPhone 5 or my husband's iPhone 4. We've updated to iOs 7.02. I reset the network connection on both phones. I turned FaceTime on and off. Any ideas? Thank you!!!

Facetime- How do I get it to work? I've tried calling my iPhone, but it doesn't ring? I see that the facetime connected somewhat to my phone, but it doesn't ring or allow me to answer.

I recently purchased Facetime for my iMac. I tried to test it out by calling my iPhone, but it doesn't ring at all. When i call another iphone it doesn't offer facetime

How do i sent my iphone 4 that when i call an iphone 4 it ask me if i want to facetime with caller? I figured it would do it automaticlly when i enter them in my contacts using iphone. I am also using wifi at the time of calls.

first of all you need to check wether facetime is enabled on your iphone.
you can see this by going to settings>phone> facetime
when it's enbabled, you simply go to you contact list and select the person (who also needs to own a iphone 4 with wifi) and press on the down right button. normally just above the button 'put in favorites'
if he answers the call you will get the facetime connection. If he refuses you will obviously don't get a connection..
