I keep getting error on FaceTime. Unable to contact the FaceTime server?.
Hi,
I can confirm that yesterday I could not send pic in iMessages with Message beta or from my iPhone.
Today I can.
As Message beta (and in fact iChat 6) and FaceTime both use an App called IMAgent on the Mac to help with logins it is likely that the same servers are involved at the Apple end.
IMAgent also "Listens" when the computer is On but the apps are not launched for Off Line Calls.
(iChat and iChatAgent has always done this for Off Line IMs from AIM Buddies and now IMAgent does it for Jabber and AIM in iChat or Messages and FaceTime)
It seems the servers are back on line.

The following error occured when i am trying to compile my design on labview fpga 8.6, and the error reads as follows.
"LabVIEW FPGA was unable to contact the Compile Server at "localhost" on port 96. The server name or port may be incorrect, a firewall may be blocking communications with the server, or the configured timeout may be too low. You may reconfigure Compile Settings by clicking the Configure button or try contacting the Compile Server again by clicking the Retry button. Click the Cancel button to abort."
Can ane one help me in sorting out this error.,

I enter the info
Click "Sign In"
Prompted for my Apple ID Password again (in a pop up)
Message appears "iMessage Activation" + "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again."
OK the message
I verify Safari can get toethe web & load pages OK
Back to iMessage in Settings
Repeat steps 1-4
Now at iMessage screen where I set how people will message me. I have my iPhone's number, my email address I use for Apple ID, and my @me email address
I leave them all checked and I hit "Next"
"Verifying" with the spinning wheel at the top of the screen...
Pop up message says: "iMessage Activation" + "Unable to contect the iMessage server. Try again." (this is about the 6th time I've tried this)
What have I done to try to make it work?:
Retied as directed by iPad
Powered iPad off & tried again
Turned airplane mode on, off, and tried again
Verified that the iPad DOES have network access by browsing the web with Safari (not using 3G/4G, wifi only)

The server could not locate the entry. If adding a new entry, be sure that the parent of the entry you are trying to add exists. If you received this error while searching or viewing an entry, it indicates that the entry which was being searched for does not exist.I did the silly thing, i gave Base DN as o=domainname.com,which is supposed to give like dc=domainname, dc=com and restarted the server. LDAP works fine.

If the phone was hacked to unlock it, it will not be able to activate until and unless the original carrier authorizes unlocking it. Since the UK carriers will not authorize an unlock for a phone that is not actively in use on their network, and you will not be able to activate it on any network until after it is unlocked, you will most likely not be able to activate and use it at all. It's a catch-22.
Return it to whereever you bought it and get a refund. Then buy a phone from a legitimate source. -
McAfee Family Protection unable to contact the fil...
On my son's computer, whenever i try to access any website (including McAfee's own one!) apart from Google I get the message "Family Protection was unable to contact the filtering server." I think McAfee had an update yesterday.

Go to Solution.Try uninstalling it, check if you access internet then if you want it back reinstall.

Have new imac and I get this error message: Unable to contact the FaceTime server. All mty other apple devices can connect but not my iMac.

It sounds like you unable to connect your Apple TV to the iTunes Store. I would use this troubleshooting from the following article to help you resolve the issue named:

If you discover that you aren't connected to a network, the signal strength is low, or some of these settings are incorrect or blank, try the following steps:
Ensure that Apple TV is within range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
Make sure other devices (computers, iPhone, iPad, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Check your Wi-Fi network settings on Apple TV:
Choose Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi and press the center button on the remote to display nearby networks.
Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.
If your Wi-Fi network uses a password, make sure you are entering it correctly.
Restart your Apple TV by choosing Settings > General > Restart.

I have intsalled the plumtree portal.... The links are working. But when i search any word then it gives following error messages

ThanksSantosh,It appears that your portal server can not connect to the Search Server.1) Check to ensure that the "Plumtree Portal Search Server" NT Service is running. It will be an NT service. If you check the PlumtreePortal_v5-0.properties file you should see two entries for where you installed the Search service.SEARCH_SERVER_HOST=servernameSEARCH_SERVER_PORT=15244
2) If the service is not started, then start it...
3) You can test connectivity to the Search Server by telnetting to server in question at port 15244 (or whatever port you installed the search service on). If you get a response from Ignite, then the search server is up..

Eg. My result set come from OBIEE, it hase 2 column xx and yy.
Im just copy the sample code to translate the output into xml, the output sample is like:
Column 1 Column 2
440100 0
440200 5
440300 1
So how can MapViewer know that the second column is the value column?

I am trying to deploy a provider hosted app.
According to various articles by MSDN, I have configured the app domain, the necessary services.
When I go on deploying the app, I get this error:

I am not able to figure out where exactly the steps have gone wrong?
When checked with ULS Log Viewer, I am able to find the cause, which says

I assume you have seen this article:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fp161236.aspx and that you created the Subscription Shared Service. Are you on the released version of SharePoint?
Try stopping and restarting the subscription service from central admin.

Hi everyone,
I'm running UCCX 8.01 + CUCM 7.1+ Cisco 7942 just for learning purpose. After creating the Outbound Campaign and imported the Contact List the call is received by the agent (call is state is received as Offering) but after press the Accept, Reject or any othe action button is received the error:
Error Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. outbound Option not available (attached to post).
What does this mean?

TQOK, two things:
ON your BlackBerry, go to Options > Advanced > Browser.
Set that to HOTSPOT and save.
Now, connected to a WiFi router, open the internet browser on the BlackBerry try going to mobile.blackberry.com
Does it work?
Also, Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the mobile network internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
