Just recently, I have been unable to receive icloud email on my iphone and new ipad3. Although, I am a loyal apple consumer, I feel a bit let down. I am a PhD student and used my ipad/icloud email for downloading and reading PDF journal articles. My goal is to eventally buy a MacBook Pro and eliminate some of the syncing issues with icloud by storing my documents on the hard drive. I hope this will give me some relief from all the trouble I have had with icloud. Please share your suggestions.
Right now, there is an iCloud blackout. Most people are having issues syncing Notes, Calenders, and Contacts between devices, emails aren't being sent, and Find My iPhone isn't working.

I have been having multiple issues lately with my iMac
I have been having multiple issues lately with my iMac - starting with insanely slow processing/run speeds.
When I run Activity Monitor, consistently the highest usage of CPU is "ReportCrash" - typically shows up as 80-200% of CPU.
What could this be caused by?
I posted only a portion of the code from Activity Monitor but not sure what exactly is relevant or not. I can certainly post more if it's needed.

What year, screen size, CPU speed and amount of RAM installed?
How full is your Mac's hard drive?
How many applications do you run simultaneously in the background while working in another application?
Do you run any antivirus software on your Mac? Antivirus software can slow down the normal operation of OS X.
Do you run any "crapware" like Mackeeper or any other type of so called hard drive "cleaning" apps?
Have you downloaded and installed anything recently that might have caused the erratic behaviour of your iMac? -
I have been having a issue with getting the colors on my monitor to match the colors fro my print lab. I now have the monitor calibrated to match the prints but when I open elements it doesn't use the same colors. If i have it use the calibrated profile by changing the color management settings, the color picker no longer shows true white or black. How do I get elements 12 to honor the new calibrated settings?

What version of Solman are you using ? Check in t-code Rz20 >ccms monitor template of satelliate system , there would be option to monitor your outbound mails .You can sutomise your monitorig metrics in solman 7.1 else in 7.01 you use auto reaction methods to monitor .

I have been having a lot of issues with my iPod touch. Whatever I purchase on my iPod I can't seem to transfer it to my iTunes library. If something should happen to my iPod, I wouldn't want to lose all of the music I have purchased. I can't upgrade it either because a box pops up that says everything will be erased from my iPod... I need help!
Might be an authorization issue in iTunes. Try deauthorizing your computer through the Store menu at the top of iTunes and then authorizing it again. Once that is done try transferring purchases from the iPod Touch.

I try to click on the games or other users names or anything that opens another link and it crashes. This has been happening off and on for about a month but has gotten regular in the last 4 or 5 days. Anybody have any ideas?? Also, it seems that Firefox has affected Adobe. I am having lots of issues in the last few weeks but when I use Windows I'm OK????
i have the same problem with the above..firefox is running too slow with the games in facebook..but it runs good when browsing my updates, msgs, photos...firefox is totally opposite of IE..IE is faster with the games and slow while browsing..i love to use mozila but when i do games it really pisses me off...hope you could help me..

The apps stop working, usually when during the syn process, and the computers ends up crashing altogether. Sometimes not even the 'force quit' will do the trick, so I end up forcibly shutting down the computer.

Anti-virus apps in general tend to create more issues than they solve.Fortunately the best method to protect your system from any malware is by keeping your system up-to-date. As question the says itunes keeps unchecking the movies and music boxes and i then have to "remove and Sync" then reselect the movies i want to watch. Movies is set to allow me to selct only what I want and music is sync all music. I appreciate any help.
Hmm. That sounds easy enough... but how do I backup to the new computer when it doesn't give me the option? When I connect the iPad via USB, it asks me to:
• set up as a new IPad
• restore from a previous backup (where the only backup listed in the drop down menu is a stolen iPad with outdated information, dated April of 2011. It doesn't ask to restore from iCloud where this current iPad is backed up.)
If you're suggesting that I back up both devices to iCloud and then wipe them, then plug them into the new computer and restore from the iCloud backup, so that my new computer considers these new devices, that makes sense... except that I don't see an option to restore from iCloud. Does that option appear later? And is it absolutely certain that any app I have entered data into will restore that information as well, and not just the app? For example, if I have an index card app which I make essay notes in, will those notes definitely be backed up along with the app? Or just the app? I can't afford to lose all my work data.

1.) My iTunes keeps shutting down on me, after 5-10 minutes of being opened and starting updates, or if I play music. I restart iTunes and it just does it over and over again.
2.) I have homesahring ON on both my desktop PC and my AppleTV 2nd gen, but my AppleTV cannot access the computer. I have restarted and reset both PC and AppleTV over and over, but still no luck.

Since downloading OS X Yosemite I have been having issues with Netflix. Video slows down which causes the audio to go out of sync. Netflix plays ok on ipad which makes me think it's the software which is the issue. Has anyone else had this issue?
Try this:
Go to System Preferences - Bluetooth. Delete the keyboard from the list of devices by pressing the "-" button. Take the batteries out of the keyboard and reinsert them. In Bluetooth Preferences press the '+" button to add the new device. If the keyboard begins to pair, click the word "pair" and type in the passcode. Press return. The keyboard is now paired.
If the mouse is not pairing, try this: shut down the computer completely, unplug any USB mice, then turn off the power to the bluetooth mouse. ONce the computer starts up again, wait for the pop-up looking for a mouse. Turn on the power to the bluetooth mouse. It should work normally now. -
I have a pretty new iMac with LOTS of storage (about 4TB with externals) that is experiencing a lot of "spinning balls of death" from time to time in almost any program that I might have open, but particularly MacMail, Google Chrome browsers, and Word. I took it to the Apple store to be checked out and it was really fast with no issues there. I brought it home and it was better at first but then it started happening again.
I have been having a lot of issues with Time Warner where my download speeds will dip really low, and all I can think of is that MacMail goes and tries to check for email and can't get out to the internet and it locks all the other resources up while it is doing it. It will also take a REALLY long time to even let you look at mail. The folder size is over 13GB (down from 22GB that I just cleared out from - I have a lot of MP3s etc in there) and I will try to get this down to under 10GB which might help, and the mail is on an external drive. I have been told that Verizon is not a shared network but a direct connection to their server, and if I can't fix this then I will try switching to them. If anyone has any direct knowledge on this stuff, I am all ears.We need to know more about your system, please download EtreCheck and run the report and please post it on your next reply. I've got an iMac & an iPhone 5. I have been having issues when I have been saving events on 1 device & it has been getting over written & deleted by other device. Up until now it had been items that were not hugely important until now!!! I have a daily repeated event that I update on a Dailey basis so that I can keep a record of events for my job so that I can compile a report. The daily event is still in both diaries but any extra info that has been put in has been lost? So I have lost a month & a half a worth of data!!!
Does anyone know if there is a way of getting this back, can you view you iCal history at all?We need to know more about your system, please download EtreCheck and run the report and please post it on your next reply. I've been having an issue of connecting to wifi. I have restored and set up my phone as a new one and i still can't connect. Also i have restored my network setting also. The wifi button is still grey and i cant switch it on or off.
