FaceTime Icon on my iPhone 5c disappeared after I restarted my iPhone. How to get it back?

Hello,
I have an iPhone 5c which is updated to IOS 7.1.1. I regularly use FaceTime and never had a problem. Today I restarted my iPhone as FaceTime Audio call was not connecting, as I normally do in such issue. When the iPhone got restarted the FaceTime App on my iPhone disappeared. I tried searching from the Spotlight it does not show. Even tried to go to Contact to connect call from there but I do not have option to make FaceTime call in contacts as well.
How to fix this?

Please provide proof that backs up your statement. Care to name any iPhone "authorized resellers" in Pakistan? Provide links? Just because a store has the Apple logo on its window or a sign saying that they are an Apple reseller does not mean they are. There are no Apple iPhone authorized resellers of any kind listed on this (Apple's) website. In fact Pakistan is not even listed as a country where iPhones are legitimately available. By that I mean that Apple has sanctioned their sale. You might have grey-market resellers which is not in dispute here.
And there are no Apple supported iPhone carriers in Pakistan either, no matter what you say or believe:

The proof is in that if you install a carrier update via iTunes it cripples your FT.

Lost volume and mute screen graphic after various STB settings changes - how to get it back?

Just got FIOS triple play installed yesterday. I am using STB to control TV volume (had to use remote code 9-5-5 to make that work - STB software settings alone did not work). I need to use the STB for volume because my older TV - SD Mitsubishi - cannot be controled via remote - its remote sensor no longer works. Initailly I had a graphic volume bar on screen - upper right quadrant - when changing Volume or using Mute from the remote - the graphic bar would disappear after about 10 seconds. After exploring and changing some of the STB settings, I noticed that the volume bar no longer displays at all. I'd like it back - but cannot figure out how to get it back. The graphic feedback helps me know that the STB received the command from the remote. The volume function from the remote is working - it is the graphic I am missing.
Does anyone know what STB setting might affect this? Or, is it possible to go back to "default" settings on the STB?
I tried calling Verizon - but they were not helpful - as long as volume control was working, they did not want to help me get the graphic back.
Anyone else encounter this? Thanks in advance...

Thanks for your reply, but Volume Control was already set to Variable. And sorry for the delay in responding - I was trying to figure out if I could repeat (and even fix) the issue - now I have - tho there may be more than one way to do this:
To produce the problem on my setup:
1. While watching TV with no STB graphics on screen - check to see volume control graphic is there by hitting volume button on remote - wait until the graphic goes away.
2. On Remote, hit Favorites button (already set to "Toggle Flip by Favorites") - Info graphic (bottom 1/3 of screen) comes up indicating that I am in "Mode:Favorites 1".
3. On Remote, hit Guide Button
4. On Remote hit Exit Button
Volume / Mute graphic no longer appears when the buttons are pressed on the remote, tho the volume / mute functions do work. I can power off the STB - and still the volume / mute graphics are gone.
To fix:
1. On Remote, hit "On Demand" Button. (Wait for "loading" to finish)
2. On Remote, hit Exit.
Now the volume / mute graphic is visible again!
Hunh???
Is this a bug?
Note: remote is VZ P265v2 RC

Thank you for the info re. the main menu. Your answer I used worked; however, the menu bar all the way across is solid black. The only way I can find out the names on the menu is to point the cursor from left to right over the black bar to find "file" "edit" tools", etc. What do I need to do to get these menu titles to be seen?
As regarding the GMail --the menu bar used to have an envelope symbol which was white and outlined in red. That disappeared. I googled "mail.google.com" to try to get back my email. This didn't work. My Adobe Reader toolbar that allows you to save, print, email, etc. the document in the browser window/tab has disappeared and I want to know how to get it back.

I was unable to view PDF files in Firefox and would get a blank screen telling me I needed to re-install Adobe. I did that and was still unable to view PDF files in the browser window or tab.
Now that I have upgraded to the most current version of Firefox I no longer have the Adobe Reader toolbar that used to be a toolbar above a PDF file when viewing in the browser window or tab. I don't have the printer icon, floppy disc icon, email icon, page arrows to scroll up or down, the percentage for size, etc. Is there a way to be able to have this toolbar again?

I do not use Adobe Reader, but use Foxit Reader in its place, and had the same problem. In Foxit Reader, I right-clicked in the area at the top where you would expect the toolbar to be (it was a blank area immediately above the displayed PDF file), and chose which toolbars to display and that has "stuck" and I still see the Foxit toolbars when I load a PDF file after system shutdown overnight. The only problem is that the area where you would expect the toolbars is still there and blank, but the toolbars that I selected appear immediately below that blank area. See if that works in Adobe Reader for you.

Click on the App Store icon on your device, and then on Search. Type in one of the App names in the search bar. They are coming up on my device as "Free". I think you have to purchase them on the actual device, since the free versions are based on when the device was purchased.

Hard Drive gone, pictures on Iphone, how to get pictures back on to my Macbook

Is there a way to get pictures that are part of the library on my iphone on to my macbook. I find it completely unbelievable that Apple has purposely made it impossible to be able to get 4 YEARS OF PICTURES off my Iphone and back onto my computer. We have a family trip to Holland on this, numerous camping trips, a trip to Paris, Mexico, my kids birthday parties, family events, Christmas. Im totaly devastated.
IF anyone knows how IM DESPERATE.

If all the original photos are still stored on your iPhone, and your iPhone is still functioning properly, once your hard drive is replaced and OS X and iTunes is reinstalled, you should be able to re-acquire them on your computer by reconnecting your iPhone to your computer, the way you got them to the computer originally.

My recent emails used to show on my home page, "my msn". With Firefox 4, they disappeared and I can't see how to get them back.

On my home page there is a heading-Hotmail. Under that the last 8 or so emails were listed. The heading remains, the emails are gone and the+ in a box is now a -. So I can't add the emails.

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]]. Your homepage might have been changed by a particular site. Sites like MSN, Yahoo, etc have been know to ask to become your homepage.
There are steps in that article to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. If that works, you can try setting your homepage again to your personal preference.
If that doesn't work you should look at the article [[Preferences are not saved]].

It is possible that there is or has been a problem with the profiles.ini file that registers all profile and that a new default profile got created.
