I can't log into my iMessages it FaceTime . It was working PERFECTLY an hour ago .I've tried everything ! I wanna call apple or whatever but my phone is off . PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP !

IOS 7.0.3 upgrade killed Facetime, iMessage and Push Notifications
Facetime, iMessage and Push Notifications were working fine on my iPhone 4.
Since I upgraded to iOS 7.0.3 Facetime and iMessages cannot be activated because of 'Network error' and every app that supports 'Push Notifications' suggest to 'Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications' at start.
Already tried to 'Reset as new phone' and restore from iCloud without any luck.
Suggestions ?Ever since I got the 7.0.3 update on my iPhone 4 I get the "iMessage Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network conection and try again". I can access icloud stuff using my apple ID fine elsewhere. I received iMessages on my laptop through the Messages app but anyone else who uses Messages has their iMessage sent to my laptop and not to my phone. I used to get the messages both at the same time.
I've tried removed the locate iphone app, reset the network settings, rebooted the phone, reconnected to my wifi and synched with iTunes. Nothing has worked.
I'm getting ready to restore the phone now in hopes that doing that works. Never had a problem with updates till now and while this is annoying at least my data is intact! -
My phone number is wrong on FaceTime & iMessage
My phone number is incorrect for Facetime & iMessage calls, but correct for cell & landline calls. Anyone else having this problem?
My correct number is listed under Contact, but not under FaceTime & iMessage page. It's some funky number.
Thanks!@trdewa - that is exactly what is happening to me. Same funky number too. I spoke to geek squad at best buy and they directed me to apple customer service. I spoke to a tech, who said they are aware of the problem and that sprint customers are experiencing this, although my husband isn't and we're on the same plan.
We also tried all the tricks including a reset and nothing worked. They said that the problem is noted and will be fixed with an update that Apple plans on putting out in the next week or so. I would suggest you call and put in a complaint, and maybe they will roll out the update sooner. -
Apple ID Works for Purchase not with FaceTime/iMessage
After resetting my Apple ID password, I can no longer use FaceTime or iMessage. Both apps always prompt for the password.
Here is my scenerio:
Launch FaceTime, prompts for password, key password - failed
Go to App Store, download any app, prompts for password, key password - success (app is installed)
Launch iMessage, prompts for password, key password - failed

I've had my old O2 number transferred to my new iphone 4s on 3. my facetime and imessage show my transferred number but in the phone settings its still showing as the number that came with the phone.
When i message someone it seems to be showing as either one or the other if its a text conversation its converting from one to the other then back again. Also on imessage its reverted to using my email address.
Does anyone know how to make it so that everything is showing the correct number. i have turned both facetime/imessage off, turned my phone off and on again turned facetime/imessage back on again which sorted the numbers showing on them. But in phone settings thats not done the trick.
Please Help!!!When you go to Settings>Phone, what shows as your phone number? Is the temporary number you describe there or your regular phone number? You should be able to set it there. I don't know if there is a new place for setting anything associated with iMessage. I cannot find any reference in the iOS 5 manual regarding changing settings.

IPod Touch 4th Generation Wifi / FaceTime & iMessage Question
I got my iPod Touch 4th Generation today at an Apple store. Brand new. I opened it up, used FaceTime & iMessage for a while, and then I shut it off. When I turned it back on, and tried to go on FaceTime or iMessage, it asked me to sign in. Gave me a "Get Started" page. So, I sign in ( mind you, I'm connected to WiFi the whole time. I can surf the web, no YouTube for some reason, but I know WiFi is on and connected ) and a pop up comes up. The title is, in this case it's for the iMessage, iMessage Activation and it says "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." Same thing happens for FaceTime. It worked before, so I don't know why it's doing this. I turned my WiFi on and off, and I can't do anything about the router because it's not mine. However, I know it works because I can surf Safari, and use internet on my laptop. Please help! I've looked everywhere for an answer and nothing. I just got this today! And it worked before. Please help.

It sounds like you are unable to use FaceTime on your Mac with an error that it has failed. I recommend these troubleshooting steps from the article named:

According to Apple Facetime will only work over WiFi. IOS 6 will bring feature that you can make Facetime call over 3g-4g -
Facetime & iMessage won't verify email
My gmail account won't verify either in settings or when I access my Apple ID. This was fine until IOS7 upgrade.
Cancel the above reply as my mb pro settings are now constantly trying to verify my gmail address in Facetime & imessage. I cannot get apple to verify my gmail address in my account settings even though it is set as my recovery address. My Apple ID is a different address which is how I want it. Is this a google v apple problem?

FaceTime, iMessage, ATV dead, one user - all related to iCloud.
This started as an issue with FaceTime and iMessage on one user when I upgraded to Mavericks. I don't think I had those features before because I jumped from Lion to Mavericks. Oh - and I can't connect to my Apple TV. All from this one user. Everything works from another or new user - although I think I've seen iCloud refuse there too.
NOW - when I go to system preferences and hit the iCloud button, It just says: You can't sign in at this time, Try signing in again.
I tried talking to Apple but they seemed to give up on me - either that or the representative quit.
-DanOne other thing I should have mentioned is the keychain was acting very odd. I would delete stuff and it would pop right back. There was also red stuff in there - expired I guess.
I dragged my iMac to the Apple store and they poked around for a bit... One place the Apple Genius looked was my user Library/Keychains folder - but he didn't wait for the grinding gear to finish. He went off to look something up and I went to that directory via the Terminal and that filled the screen with files. Back in the finder I found that directory had 168,000 entries. The Genius came back and tried deleting all the files and the Finder went to Not Responding and he killed that and tried deleting in chunks. I think he killed the Finder again and the directory wouldn't let us look at it due to lack of privilege. Maybe he tried again - I don't remember, but eventually via the Terminal we saw something like 4 files. He emptied the trash, rebooted and all iCloud functionality was back plus FaceTime & iMessage
A look later from home and that Keychain directory has 163k files again, but the KeyChain Access view has no red - and everything works including AppleTV connectivity.
So... I had tried to fix this via calling Apple via ExpressLane - they were poking at the Keychain but somehow didn't get it fixed, and they stopped answering my emails. Based on this problem, sometimes you just have to get to an Apple store. Or maybe describe all aspects of the problem on this forum -

Bought a iPhone 5S 3 weeks back, upgraded to iOS v8.2. FaceTime & iMessage are found nonfunctional. Applied resetting of networks, pulled both the buttons of FaceTime & iMessage to on/off several number of times after restarting, changed DNS, trick with AirPlane Mode as described in some web pages and YouTube videos were applied too but all in vain.
Can anybody please help me with a possible solution to get my FaceTime & iMessage activated? For the first time I shifted to iOS device and facing this terrible experience! Is this a bug? Both of the APPs are saying waiting for activation and this is a endless wait.Hello Fell-Walker,

I think this has something to do with turning off cellular data whilst roaming overseas - when I came back into the country I how have problems with facetime, imessage and keep getting the banner - connect to ITUNES to enable push notifications.
Very frustrating and no clear answers available from Apple ....
